A good place for a walk but that's it. If you're looking for somewhere to enjoy some water, I encourage you to go to a state park at a reservoir. There are houses everywhere. There is also security absolutely everywhere. I saw more security than visitors. The water level is extremely low so there isn't much point in fishing. But even if you try, they line the banks with tons and tons of tall aquatic plants and then the security follows you around and tells you off once you find somewhere to cast. Not even at the 25 empty docks. There are maybe 5 or 6 spots where you can cast out on the whole lake. If you thought maybe it would be a good place to swim since there aren't any anglers, you would be wrong. Security tells you off again that you can't be in the water. I suspect this lake was created only to increase property value and not be an actual amenity.

There’s so many places to chill and picnic here! Fishing is good as well, paddle boarding and some places you can swim. You can see the fish in the water clearly. The places we went were clean and well maintained. The view is pretty from the bridges when the sun is setting, the playground was fun to climb. Parking was a plenty and there were portapotties and hand washing stations at some lots.

Oquirrh Lake is a private lake and you cannot use it unless you are a resident. We had no idea since there are no signs stating private property or no trespassing. They were very rude about asking us to leave.

Nice walking or biking trails around the lake. Seems like it will be a really nice spot once it is all completed. There are already lots of seating and picnic areas along the trail. There were also tons of birds to see, I counted 26 species in my walk around.

Great trail. No bathrooms unless you live there and have the door code. Little playground for kids. Lots of ducks. Sometime mosquitos. Plenty of parking.

Awesome place for walking or riding, awesome views at sunset and cool architecture near the lake. I love this area of the town really pretty. There is a place to launch paddle boards and kayaks for paddling around the lake.

Love this place. It's beatiful, calm and a family friendly location. Despite being near a bunch of stores, you can really enjoy the nature there. Great for a walk and to take pictures.

Oquirrh Lake is a beautiful lake. I believe it is fed by fishhook stream. When you go there you will see a lot of birds such as: ducks, geese, rock pigeons, grackles, coots and others.

Wanted to have a fun family day but apparently there are some make believe rules that would make that impossible here. According to the rules that are posted dogs are allowed as long as they are on a lease. We brought our puppy and kept him on a leash but were stopped by an employee who told us he actually wasn't allowed. I said according to the posted rules he is allowed on a leash. Her response was now you know for next time. There won't be a next time...

I enjoy the many trails and open spaces. As well as the views of the mountains and temple. If you are a fan of bird watching you will not be disappointed. There is a wide variety of species.

It’s a very beautiful lake and perfect for families. You can bring your dog as well. There are quite a lot of bugs, but it’s a nice view of the mountains.

It's big and beautiful. Unfortunately, I didn't catch any fish, but some days are that way.

I love Daybreak! Going down to Oquirrh Lake with my bike, watching the birds, duckies, etc. So many swimming pools and parks in Daybreak, kids can't be board. Daybreak is thΓ© place to live.
