What are the chances I live in a town with no German food, drive all the way to Tahoe, have to find a place to eat on the fly because our room wasn’t ready and they service awesome German fair and beer? What a gem. Great selection of craft beer, German pretzels, spaetzle, and a wonderful pretzel roll bratwurst with kraut. Great fresh fries and tasty ranch round out the meal. Totally worth visiting if you’re in the area.

This place is awesome! South Lake Brewing is fantastic as it is, but the Libation Lodge is a new fun place to have your favorite beer and some great food. I love that this brewery has a great selection of pilsners, ales and beers that stretch beyond the normal IPAs. The food is really good. I recommend the smash burger. Fun place that is kid friendly. *be careful parking in the parking lot for over 2 hours. I got a $200 parking ticket.

The best beer in South Lake Tahoe and this second location’s patio has great afternoon sun. Their food is SO good. They also have beer and wine at this location if you have someone in your group that does not prefer beer. Highly recommend it.

Probably one of the coolest breweries I have been to! Everything is pretty nice, clean, and ofc the beers are great! Their sampler is on a ski board how cool is that 😭! Totally recommend 😊

Soft opening- good vibes, great beer! The bathrooms were clean, multiple stalls is a huge plus! Convenient location, amazing service, and the bulgogi fries were delicious! Highly recommend!

Bulgogi loaded fries were pretty bad. Beers were good, burgers were okay. Loaded bulgogi fries were So salty we couldn’t eat it unfortunately, we let the servers know and the kitchen gave us another serving. Still were inedible. Told the servers and nothing was done about it. Would’ve been happy with a free beer or something. They only recently opened so maybe just teething issues. But shows a lot about service in how they deal with meals customers can’t eat that we paid for, so overall we were pretty disappointed. Not use to complaining about this but wasn’t happy with the outcome overall. Also you tip and pay for meals before you get them so you can’t actually tip on the overall experience you receive before you get it so that doesn’t really make sense. We tipped 30% before we even received the service and food we got and regret doing that now so be warned…

What an awesome place! Such a great location and amazing place to hang out. Great beer and great food. Highly recommend if you’re in the area! We got the wake flight and got to sample every beer on tap! Can’t wait to come back!!

Really good spot for beer & some food. Parking is a bit tricky (2 hour limit or a $200 fine for exceeding that) but it is SLT. Sausage platter was great & their seating is pretty good. West coast IPAs were excellent

This is the newest South Lake Brewing facility. Delightful indoor and outdoor seating. Good selection of comfort bar food! Chicken sliders were great!

Great beer selection, but the food was disappointingly over-salted. Service was fine. Hoping for better next time.
