Good brewery and restaurant. Dog friendly. Shady outside & inside seating. No lake views but nice atmosphere. Friendly and prompt service. Great food and decent draft beer selection. Full bar.

It was a snowy day and the almond joy was the perfect way to go. Loved the ambience and customer service. We tried Eggplant sandwich and it was good. We also tried loaded pretzel 🥨 and felt it was little over burnt to our taste. But overall we enjoyed our experience here!

Love the atmosphere here, cute place. The food is good, and the service is great ( just make sure they hear what you order😉) will definitely be back. P.S. Clean bathrooms 🚻 with a changing table 👌

We sat outside upstairs since we had a puppers with us. The staffs were friendly but oddly not super friendly either. They had solid drink selections and food. The most unique was the beet juice with vodka and salt & pepper rims. The combination of the flavors were interesting! My 2nd favorite is probably fish & chips. Would I return? Maybe, just, maybe.

What a great stop this was. Food was off the hook, ahi poke bowl was fantastic! Mahi tacos were the bomb, elote was magnificent. Hubby got the bacon BBQ burger, he said it was one of the best ever. Service was friendly from all staff and the place had a great relaxed atmosphere. Will probably return again even though only here for couple days, it was just that good!

There was a bit of a wait but the staff were efficient and got us seated quickly. We were placed at a high table and the lady who appeared to be in charge, offered me a box to rest my feet on as I struggle with my mobility. Our waiter was also very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and beer. Unfortunately we were only there for one night, otherwise we'd have definitely gone back!

The monster burger definately earned its name, delicious and giant! Truffle fries are also fantastic- and the service was super kind along with my virgin cocktail! Ty again Deb and of course Tay for the reccomendation! Will miss this place! Love from NJ!

Very overpriced for what it is. That said, shrimp tacos were great, and sandwiches and salads were acceptable. We've been here before when the fish and chips were overcooked, served at room temperature, and very oiley. Servers were excellent today, but negligent our first time here. The owner Debbie has an edge when her customer service face fades away but she eagerly expresses her desire for people to enjoy themselves. The brewed beers here that I tasted were mediocre. So overpriced food and ho hum beer get 3 stars.

The fish and chips were delicious. The fish was super flakey. Possibly the best I've had. I got it with a Cesar salad instead of fries which was also good. To drink I had the stout which I also enjoyed. My wife got the truffles burger which she liked. The food came very quickly and the service was great. The atmosphere is nice but pretty dark for some reason. We'll definitely try to come back here.

Amazing food and service post our hike. Poke bowls and shrimp tacos were incredible, hard kombucha was just what we wanted, and we finished with a kiwi martini which was unique and delicious. The owner, Debbie, was lovely and the whole staff was friendly. 10/10

Service was excellent here, the manager was willing to work with me when I disliked the food I received. Their fries also amazing. Their burger taste like they were trying to hide a frozen patty with char broil flavor and definitely not worth the $20+ price.... Luckily my friend ordered the fish and chips which was actually quite good and recieved more than he could eat so i finished that off. The smores brownie was also more like a cake and not dense and fudgy like a brownie.

Austin was the best server we have ever had. The food was also phenomenal, and the girl who left a review and said the beer here was gross has bad taste buds. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also more than what we could’ve hoped for both inside and outside, and the little heated/fire tables were 👌🏽💯 Again I want to circle back and say that Austin was wonderful and really what made the experience one of the best we’ve had. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations were exactly how he described them… DELICIOUS. He also gave us recommendations on where to go for other meals during our stay. Those were also spot on. Give the guy a raise 🙂

Service was excellent, great indoor and outdoor seating. Cocktails were delicious, craft beers were good and interesting. Beetnik was probably the best cocktail. Elote dip was tasty and unusual! Chicken sandwich was good, but could have been spicier. Loved the ahi poke bowl, it was delicious.

In my opinion this is the best quality pound for pound in South Lake - I’ve never had a bad meal here dine in or take out. They have a menu that rotates seasonally with high quality food, attentive service, huge beer / drink selection, and cozy cabin style decor inside and extensive seating with fire pits/heaters outside. What more can you ask for? On weekends there can be a wait with no reservations so plan accordingly They allow dogs outside which we love in spring / summer. Local owner who works super hard and has personal momentos around the place Couldn’t recommend this place more!

First time eating here. Our family was greeted with friendly staff. They had fire pits and other heaters while we waited for our table. The wait was reasonable. Menu has a lot of options including the kids. The waiter took our order and we didn’t have to wait long for our food. The food tasted good and the portion size was just right. I would recommend this place to anyone who visits Lake Tahoe area.

This review is hard because on of our dishes was delicious and the other was… not good at all. The mahi tacos were just really not good and not entirely served as they are listed on the menu. Additionally one of the beers we both got was served to us brown, it looked like sewer water but the server insisted it was just hazy.. we were still too skeptical and ordered something different. Overall it was okay, and dogs were allowed on the outdoor patio.

Came here a couple of times, during dinner it was easier to get a table for 2. Had a great burger, pretzel and beer here. Our favorite was the truffle burger—it had great flavors. The chicken burger was good but it lacked sauce which made it a bit dry w/ the brioche bun. The pretzel is great, enough to split for 2+ as an appetizer. They have several beer options, would recommend starting with their $2.50 oz pours to make a custom pint flight & picking one of those.

Perfect place to stop for a great beer and food when coming in to south lake. Amazing selection of wonderful beers, and even better food! Food was fast, great quality, and awesome service!

Great après ski food. Portions are big: great to satisfy the belly after a long day on the slopes. The fish and chips is delicious: chunky fish fillets perfectly cooked.

I really enjoyed Cold Water Brewery and Grill. We got the fried Fish (3 piece) with Tater Tots and split it between 2 people. And we tried their IPA and their Stout that they brew in-house. Both were fantastic. I will definitely go back the best time I’m in Tahoe!

Great food & staff here. We were so hungry after a hike we forgot to take any photos. The food was delicious. We had the dry rub wings which were a little Lite on the rub this time but still quite tasty. Served with homemade ranch. Also the Watermelon salad & a Cobb salad. Watermelon with feta & lime/mint . So refreshing & tasty. Cobb was perfect. Bacon was nice small slices and fresh ingredients made it perfect to split . The sever was so kind and friendly, and we come here occasionally when visiting the area. Never disappointed yet.

Huge portions on the burger and fries. Even the kids burgers were big. The elote dip was phenomenal. Everything was delicious. The waiter was so kind and it's a great atmosphere. Spent about $110 for 4 of us.
