We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our luncheon with you yesterday. All of the food was presented so nicely and tasted delicious and your staff were a delight. Thank you also for taking notice of our special dietary requests, it made the difference. A wonderful experience for us all.

I don’t like having to write negative reviews, but I’m writing this to add to the collective opinion in the local area, which will hopefully be taken on board and listened too. Goodies used to be the perfect farm shop and local cafe which was warming and inviting. We used to be able to pop there for lunch for tea and cakes. In the summer we used to be able to freely sit outside whilst the children played. Now, we dare not go In without a nice enough outfit on, and don’t even think about bringing children big or small. This comes after multiple scenarios between my friends and I where we have felt under pressure with the pushchairs, or just generally felt unwelcomed and spoken to abruptly and rudely. The food is expensive now “posh food” not farm shop food. Can’t even buy a children’s meal for under £10. The staff have their procedures and ways of doing things, and if your not doing it right you will be made to feel quite small. This is no longer a spot to come for a friendly lunch. It’s so sad as we loved being able to come here and we felt so lucky to have a local farm shop and cafe. My friends and I won’t be returning, unless hopefully 🤞 they are able to lay off with the posh over priced restaurant and bring back that local comfy environment.

There is a great selection of food at Goodies. It's not the cheapest but it is really good quality. I think the butcher's counter is excellent. The staff are always friendly. My whole family love the restaurant. Parking is easy. What's not to like!!.

I wanted to purchase the beautiful St Giles Gin Glasses, but only had one left, but the Staff went above and beyond to try and find more, but the sell out fast, so they ordered me the rest I wanted and they came in that week. Service in Dinning area, always fantastic food, and service, and we always take home a special meal from frozen section and a treat too! Love Goodies visit day!

Very disappointing service. Goodies seems to have forgotten customer service. I wanted to buy some sweets in large boxes, which are available only around Christmas, and which Goodies have stocked for at least the last two years. These are much better value than the small packs which is all they stock for the rest of the year. Some weeks ago, I asked a member of staff if they could put six boxes by for me. This was duly written down, with my details so that they could contact me when they were available. I've been checking every time I went into the shop. No sign, so I asked today, as Christmas is fast approaching. It seems that they decided not to buy because they had a lot left over last year. Untrue, as they had run out last year when I tried to buy a few more boxes in early January. Also, they didn't bother to let me know, so I've now had to find another source at fairly short notice. The result is that Goodies have lost future sales of the small packs, because I have bought elsewhere. Because these were a reason for me to visit the shop regularly, I will not be buying the other things I bought when I visited. And because they couldn't be bothered to let me know, I will probably buy elsewhere in future anyway. And especially, because their excuse just wasn't true.

Great. Have been a few times and the shop is amazing...lots of nice treats. Meat counter is great, always plenty of flavour and super tasty. Stopped this time for food in the restaurant. 22 quid for 2 course Sunday lunch. Great value.

Excellent find. We were looking for somewhere to eat and came across Goodies. Fantastic English Breakfast. Well presented and excellent value As you walk in the fragrance from the produce greets you, all the colours of the display are amazing
