We just came back from seeing Santa, and I must say our little one loved it. Having only just been to Thursford the experience was a lot smaller, but no less magical. As my wife said " it's nice to go somewhere where they've put the effort in " and that's exactly what they had done. From the ticket clipping to meeting Santa at the end you could tell they spent a lot of time putting that altogether and it in itself is deserving of a 5* review. We also went to the cafe after and it was good food, clean, friendly staff and varied menu. We don't live close but will certainly visit again if we are passing. Well done everyone at Highways.

Stumbled across this rather magnificent garden centre on the way to Norwich.. Only went in for a coffee but stayed for some time looking around the very spacious indoor and outdoor areas. Large cafe and restaurant with very peaceful and sunny outdoor seating areas with parasols.. Dog friendly too.. 5 star

Took my son to Santa’s Grotto today and it was fantastic. The grotto was breathtaking, so much effort and care had been taken to make it a magical experience for children. Santa’s elves were wonderful, my son was captivated. Santa was lovely, my son was very happy with his visit and his gift. When we left the grotto we went inside the garden centre and I purchased a gift voucher at the tills, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall we loved our visit today, and will be back next Christmas if not before.

Went for breakfast and a browse of the shop area. The food was good and cooked very well, although we didn't get any hash browns on the plate, even though we were supposed to. Ordered both breakfasts with white toast, and one came with fried bread instead... There really needs to be someone prepping drinks at the till so the cashier doesn't have to take an order, take payment, make drinks and sort a tray as this increases the wait for customers. We went on a Sunday morning at 1045 and the wait for food was around 45minutes and the line at the till was around 10minutes. Not a bad place for breakfast if you're happy to ignore the little things.

I just had a wonderful Mother's Day afternoon tea in the restaurant. The staff were really busy but very friendly and trying their very best to ensure everyone got served. The actual food was fresh and delicious, such a wide range of cakes, sandwiches and pastries; all washed down with a little bottle of prosecco. Thank you. 😋

The Christmas display is wonderful to see, the variety of decorations is amazing, not forgetting the Christmas grotto for the children to see father Christmas

The BEST garden centre I’ve ever been to! There’s something here for everyone. A really good selection of toys, clothes, gifts, plants and fish. I wanted to say an extra special thank you to the brilliant kind staff in the cafe. My little boy and I had a wonder experience. It was sparking clean and the pastries and cakes looked very tempting.

We had a carvery for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy which is a good sign for any eatery and the food was faultless. It was traditional (which we like) with the only slightly modern twist being the option of cauliflower cheese. I am not easily pleased and I feel that most carveries are imperfect in someway. This however was perfect! It’s a canteen type of environment but that’s to be expected and I knew that.

Went to the cafe here for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised to find they were open at 9:30am on a Sunday so that was a good start. We chose the full English then took a seat. We'd only been sat down 5mins when our breakfast arrived! It was piping hot and looked delicious with just the right amount of food plus it wasn't swimming in grease. The food was perfectly cooked and the sausage looked like it had come from a local butcher, the bacon looked freshly cooked and my egg had a runny yolk 😋😋 The staff were really friendly and keen to help too. Overall a really enjoyable experience and we'll definitely go back again soon especially as they also do a banging carvery on a Sunday too. Thanks

Whilst the Cortado was a little weak the outside, dog friendly dining area was a fab suntrap, there were a great selection of spring flowers and shrubs, the plants are always good quality if a little expensive. Today we had lunch on the restaurant, the service was great, the food amazing and reasonably priced.

Visited the aquatics department here today, looks very well run and the fish on offer are good value for money. The fish seem cared for and the environment is A1 good. The dry goods section, foods, treatments, decor, etc seems about normal value, though the NT Labs range here was the cheapest I've seen it on the High Street. Worth a stare, friendly staff. Part of Roy's of Wroxham Group.

Absolutely love this place, garden centre, cafe and clothes are fantastic. I would of love to give a 5star which the other parts totally deserve now here's the but, purchased some tropical fish as I usually do from highway but after a 15min drive ( usually fish are fine ) all fish were dead on arrival of home. Daughter chose these and she's Absolutely devastated 😢 💔 so please buy with caution ⚠️ to avoid an upset household

The best place in Norfolk or Suffolk that I've found so far for houseplants! Slighly overpriced compared to other local stores but they have a great selection of rare and unusual things and impressive mature specimens of beautiful exotic plants. Everything was great quality and looked healthy, things were mostly good sizes for the price. I loved the Aglaonema collection and I ended up buying two as well as a load of other things. On some of the more expensive rarer plants they had a range of cuttings available for less than the adult plants which was nice. Other than the prices there's not a bad word that I could say about them, the staff were brilliant and very friendly. I will be back!

Third year running we had breakfast with Santa. Visited on 23rd December. Our son was properly grumpy when we arrived but your team were superb. Knew exactly how to interact with him and get him out of his shell and smiling again. Santa and his helper Elf spent loads of time with us, just as they did with all tables. It was really thoughtful of your team to offer to take family pics with Santa too, allowing us to all be in the pictures. I think a special mention for your Elf and her Breakfast song! Talk about full of beans!! Breakfast was good too. A great morning.

We had a wonderful visit today to Santa's grotto at Highways. The grotto was amazing, loads of different themed rooms and an abundance of magical things to look at. Children can get involved to find some of Santa's lost presents. The elves were wonderful, clearly enjoying their job interacting with children and families at this time of year. The Big Man himself, what can I say? he was brilliant and he gave my son a really good quality, age appropriate gift. If you are looking for a great grotto to take children, I would highly recommend going to Highways, if it is not already booked up.

Used the restaurant today for breakfast. Wow! What a breakfast. The full english was a reasonable price which used quality ingredients and was cooked to perfection. The service was spot on with staff extremely polite and genuinely caring for your experience. Will only come here for breakfast in future. What a find.

really nice garden center, but wouldn’t bother going to their cafe as had to wait in line 25 minutes just to order and was so slow, I understand it was busy but there were lots of staff members but no one was doing anything and they all just looked as confused as the next, needs some kind of order and structure and efficient till routine to get people through faster. The help yourself to cake area was almost useless as there were no plates to put the food on and no one around to ask so it was just causing chaos as people only got plates at the till and then had to push in to help themselves. Food was really tasty tho just needs some organisation as it has great potential! and staff were friendly when you finally got served.

It's that time of year when all stores are filled to overflowing with Christmas goods. This inevitably leads to aisles that are narrower than normal and, when you're supporting someone that doesn't walk so well, navigating them more difficult. This said, things were clean and tidy, and well displayed... AND the coffee and cake was up to the usual standard.

My mum & I popped into the restaurant today. We couldn’t use the toilet at the restaurant as it was out of order. We then ordered our meal. That was 45 minutes ago. No one told us there may be a delay. We eventually ordered another drink but no explanation or compensation given. Still awaiting food… will have to leave shortly to collect kids. Wish staff had done more, given compensation… explained…

Popped in for a full English with my work mate whilst on a break. Really lovely breakfast, served by pleasant and friendly staff. The Restaurant is decorated lovely and is spotlessly clean. The garden centre itself is rather nice, looking forward to returning soon... Hopefully to try the Carvery 😘👌

Our club went for Christmas lunch today. There were 17 of us all choosing different menus. Sharon has been so accommodating, helpful and hard working. The meals were excellent value and very tasty. We were very pleased with the whole experience

A lovely garden centre. There is plenty of parking, a wonderful range of garden products and a wonderful shop full of gifts, clothing and toys. There is also a small food shop attached to a lovely cafe. It would be a great place for families to find lots of gifts and treats.

Very impressed with this centre - really good plants, excellent produce and effects on sale. The restaurant is well worth a visit for breakfast. It's very spacious, immaculately clean, and the food is very good. Staff are helpful and very cheerful! One jarring note: the toilets - there's a gents, and then a ladies with baby changing area, that admits men (with babies, presumably), which was quite disconcerting for my partner. But overall, well worth a visit, I hope it continues to thrive.

Went to see Father Christmas today with my 3 children, lovely little grotto with a magical walk to see santa and a pretend train ride with tickets. My children loved it, and the elves were really good with the children and engaged with them. Father Christmas was brilliant and spent time with them and charter chatted lots. The presents were great too, we were pleasantly surprised. We had a brief look in the shop, lovely shop with lots to see, we didn't stay too long as we had a wild toddler on our hands.

Firstly - HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! Secondly - WOW!! Thankyou so very much to the AMAZING and WONDERFUL staff for our lovely mothers day afternoon tea! This was my very first ever afternoon tea I have ever had, and from start to finish was so well thought out. I honestly couldn't thank the staff enough for their service. We come here quite regularly to look around at their plants, I have breakfast here with friends some mornings and the staff and service has always been great. Highly recommend this place for either a little treat out, or especially for an occasion! Thankyou so much x

Excellent place to visit has a surprisingly good range of top brand clothing, a good selection of homeware, a restaurant and cafe both superb and well priced and at the moment very Christmassy and of course a well stocked garden centre. The best bit about it is it's part of the Roy's of Wroxham group. Fantastic!!! The picture is the entrance in November and December. We all love a nice entrance. 😳

Lovely coffee shop with a separate restaurant, we had coffee and cake in the coffee shop side (there was plenty of room). Coffee and cake was nice, plenty of variety Inc vegetarian & usually a vegan option too. Lots to look around and such a variety of things available in the shop from pretty crockery, clothing, stationery, toys garden furniture, bbq's, Christmas decorations galore (at Christmas) & of course gardening items Inc some beautiful solar lights. It's definitely worth a visit for a coffee and a wander around.

Visited here with my young son and small dog, its the first time I have visited in 10 years as it wasn't dog friendly in previous years. I have to say it is a very well stocked garden and home store, I received a very warm welcome which is not always the case when you have a toddler. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble which is such a refreshing change, a fantastic alternative to the city and very convenient place to shop..Parking...cafe...on site to buy quality gifts (something for everyone) clothing section is very good with a good stock of Joules clothing. I was also very pleased to hear that a new dog friendly section of the restaurant is under construction...which I will look forward to visiting..
