Lovely little gem we found while visiting the area. Very friendly staff. Nice decor inside and outside seating area was very pretty. Had scampi and chips which was very nice. We didn't have much time to dine unfortunately, but our waitress Corinne let the chef know that we had an appointment to get to and we were served very promptly as a result. Top marks!

Very nice pub right on the river. Plenty of seating inside and out. Good selection of food and drink and the staff were very friendly even though it was really busy. Would definitely recommend on a bright summers day, then take a stroll along the river. Lovely afternoon.

Just stopped in for a quick drink and packet of crisps after a walk along the river. Seemed like a nice pub in lovely riverside location. Tables inside and out. Friendly service at the bar. Would definitely go again for some food next time.

Nice place, atmosphere was good although was a little quiet when we visited I imagine it is great when busy. Service was polite and prompt food was great prices were reasonable. Portion sizes were large and very tasty.

We went with Kids after visiting wedding venue. Lovely place e with great outdoor space. Absolutely delicious food. Service was 1st class. Very good value for money - will highly recommend to anyone.

Service is a bit hit and miss, always a queue for the bar and two separate visits so more bar staff required, we ate twice and both the food and drink was excellent, however you had to attract the attention of a member of staff if you wanted anything, the could have sold us a lot more if we had been offered a desert menu or offered more drinks when our glasses were empty. All that said, top pub and well worth a visit. Staff friendliness made up for any failings:-)

Visited here as we have before for a Christmas works do. It was a beautiful setting. The Christmas meal was excellent, ( a good amount of food too) as was the friendly and attentive service. It was a really great night. Thankyou.

I had the Vegetarian Wellington Sunday Roast & it was pretty good. Good roasties and veg, just wish there was more gravy🤷🏻‍♀️

Log fire and warming atmosphere with prompt service. Menu had a good range to choose from. Food had good flavours and great taste. Traditional pub next to the river, off the main roads. You could eat outside in better Weather.

Food was competent but not exceptional. Steak a bit tough, roast tomato hardly cooked, other veg was fine. Sauces cost extra and lacked seasoning. The best thing on the menu was the Sticky Toffee Pud. I had to send it back as it was cold, but when heated was delicious! Waiting staff were under pressure and it showed.

A lovely, dog-friendly place with cracking menu and superb food. We both had the best fish and chips that we've had. The fish was beautifully cooked. We were too full for dessert but the choice was excellent, really fancied the raspberry and blueberry cheesecake with coconut vanilla ice cream!! Highly recommend.

A really nice relaxing meal with the family, but what we were taken back by was the really warm welcome by the staff. Stu & Di really looked after us, made sure we had everything we needed and more. They couldn't do enough for us. The food was delicious and the drinks were fresh and you can tell are made with care. We can't wait to come back. Thanks Joe, Lou and the kids

Lovely country pub on the banks of the Thames, adjacent to a lock. Nice food, and good beer. A bit noisy, but it was Saturday evening.

Aussie Traveller. This pub is great. We were met by a super attentive manager who ensured we sat in the perfect spot. Food and drink were excellent. The atmosphere was superb due to the Decor and positioning of the pub. Basically, you will not be disappointed at all.

Lovely pub by the river. The staff were amazing, especially Emily, she was super sweet, gave us some recommendations and made us feel at home. Free parking on site and amazing walk alongside the river to go before/after your visit to the pub. One of my go-to pubs in Oxford.

Yet another great find in Oxford area. This place is on the water, great outdoor sitting area, parking, full bar and variety of food selection. We got to enjoy all of the above and recommend it.

Came for lunch on a Sunday. The food was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bar seemed a bit overwhelmed because there was quite a long queue. Only issue with the food was that there was a hair in the chutney that came with the pate for one of us and then the same person had a hair in their roast. We did tell a member of staff about this and he said he would tell a manager to come over but they never did actually come over so we just left. So yea food pretty good but just unfortunate about the hairs.
