A cute little brunch spot in South Pasadena! Their breakfast is wonderful! ♥️ We order: - Avocado Toast 🥑. THE PRETTIEST AVOCADO TOAST EVERR! 😍 It's tooo pretty I don't want to ruin it HAHAHA! The flavor of this avocado toast is very unique because it has like this sour taste (from the lemon I think?) that gives freshness to the whole dish 🤤 They are super generous with the avocado and the ricotta cheese, which is good, but their generosity makes me not finish this toast 🤣 you know what I mean, right? It's very instagramable and I'm glad I try it! ☺️ - Hash Brown Au Gratin 🥔. This has brown is SICK, it is REALLY GOOD!!!! MUST ORDER ⭐️ It appears wayy uglier than the avocado toast, but it tastess wonderful. Wonderfully cheesy! Outside is crunchy, inside is very soft and rich. so good! 😭 - Cosmo Burger 🍔. A very sweet dish! The patty is very sweet and the caramelized onions make it even sweeter. So if you like sweet, you're probably gonna love this burger. 😏

The staff was really friendly and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend the breakfast burger.

Wonderful place to get brunch, breakfast, or lunch! Came here with a friend and we had a feast! We ordered: -Avocado Toast ($12) -Salmon Toast ($12) -Corn "Sotto" Tostada ($14) -Garlic Fries ($6) -Matcha American ($4) -Unsweetened Iced Tea ($4) Everything tasted so fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Lots of unique flavors in each dish and the garlic fries were a generous portion. My friend asked for lemon wedges on the side for her tea and they were so quick and kind to give some to her. The food came really quickly after ordering (10-15 minutes? we ordered a lot too!)--note: we did arrive here/ordered around 1:30pm on a Wednesday. I'm not a big fan of cheese so we asked for it on the side for the avocado toast, and it was just as delicious! I forgot to ask for cheese on the side for the corn "lotto" tostada but it went nicely with the entire dish so I didn't mind that at all. Overall amazing combinations, ripe avocados and delicious food. Nothing was soggy or over/undercooked. It was amazing! Staff was very pleasant, too. Happy with the entire experience!

The service was fast and fantastic. The dishes were all very yummy. The guests ahead of us and the one behind, were all regulars and they were raving about the food and what they always get there. We weren't disappointed at all. There's outdoor seating as well in the rear of the building. They don't overcrowd the space either, they have a waiting line out front and the host takes each party inside to stay on top of the flow. Very considerate and they move very quickly, taking your order at the entrance counter, and also with bringing out your food to you. Highly recommended!

Wow their croissants were amazing! We had the Salmon one and the Cos&Pi speciality one. Outdoor seating was great and the food came out very quickly. Service was fine, but I don't like how you had to walk inside to get water if you had outside dining. Maybe either put another water station outside or have waiters go and fill them up. I sound really privileged and snobby from my previous sentence, but it's just a suggestion for a better overall Cos&Pi experience. Besides that, definitely a place I would like to go to again.

I can't help but feel they are running a bit inefficiently. Long line outside, but not many people were actually inside waiting for food. Salmon croissant sandwich: It was not bad, but was expecting to taste the lemon creme fraiche. Seemed like it was possibly missing. 4/5 Spamwich: Very good, nice crisp to the spam, the eggs were perfectly scrambled, the bun was amazing, and the frisee (not sure) was a great texture to balance out each bite. Barely any garlic sauce, though, I couldn't even tell it was there. 5/5

This place has indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered the spam sandwich, smoked salmon croissant, fries, and tostada. The fries and tostada were my favorite! The fries were extra crispy and light. The verde, egg and sweet corn on the tostada worked perfectly! And the tostada was extra crunchy! All of these items paired well with their house hot sauces. Highly recommend this cute restaurant for a brunch.

I liked the avocado toast design. The BLT was bold.

Lovely small neighborhood breakfast spot, the staff are friendly and the service is fast. The food was delicious! Especially The Breakfast Burger and Avocado toast.

If you’re looking for a fresh hearty American breakfast this is the spot. You can taste the freshness in every bite of their food. We got the Turkey club, breakfast croissant and avocado fries. The portions were all fair and very filling. The avocado fries was my favorite, you can tell they make it all in house and the acidity of the lemon kept every bite refreshing. One downside is the price is a little too high for the type of food. If it was 5 dollar cheaper overall I think I would have been happy.

Quality stuff here! I agree with other comments that the 'hash browns' are different and interesting. Everything is just a tad pricey, but hey treat yourself now and again, right. The others I tried were the monkey-bread and maple pecan bearclaw, both which were equally good, but I anticipated a filling in the bearclaw not actually present, so more of a cresant.

This is only our second time here so we haven't tried everything but... Every thing we have tasted so far is amazingly fresh and tasty. Not overly salted or overly sweet. Just wholesome homemade tasting food that you can taste the individual ingredients. They even bake their own bread and delicious pastries! In this visit my wife and I had the breakfast plate consisting of bacon sausages and eggs to your liking, a myer lemon scone and a raspberry jam coffee cake muffin to go with our large vanilla lattes. Every item was perfect!

My go-to item from this place has usually been the corn tostada but they didn't have that at the moment (which I missed dearly and hope they bring it back soon) so I decided to try the waffles this time. The waffles were crunchy and fluffy. I only used a little bit of butter and syrup since the berry jam was sweet enough to complement the waffles. I appreciated that it was filling but not super rich in sweetness. The garlic fries were also amazing. They added plenty of minced garlic, which really gave the fries a nice garlicky flavor. My boyfriend got the breakfast plate and he said the highlight of his plate was the hash brown au gratin.

Everything I have tried on the menu was delicious! The pirate burger may be my favorite. The avocado fries were really good and enough for two. All servings are on the larger side. The turkey sandwich is huge and very flavorful! The breakfast croissant with eggs (I got mine over easy) was also great. Overall, this is a place is a must try. Side note: orders are placed before you seat yourself.

Legit!!!!! Place looks smal inside but tons of parking and seating outside under a tent. Hash brown is siiiiick. Chili cheese fries are even sicker. I got the Arnold GET TO THE CHOPPER!!! Fun times. Thx cosplay ;)

The staff was friendly and welcoming, but the food was just okay. Definitely nothing to write home about. Maybe some other stuff on the menu is tasty, but I won’t come here again. We got the salmon croissant and avocado toast (pictured).

What's not to love about this place? Everything I've tried on their menu has been topnotch from baked goods to salmon/avocado toast to sandwiches to drinks. Their attention to detail sets them apart from similar breakfast/brunch joints. They get very busy on weekends, but they now have seating inside, outside at the front and in the back, so it's relatively easy to find a table if you're not a big group. The only complaint I have is they stopped offering the fried chicken sando, which was my absolute favorite!

I came here @1:30, and I very friendly ask for I know your guys close @3:00 p.m., so I'll quickly order it and finished them. So I ordered 2 drinks and some food pay for everything in advance with 18%tips. Your guys didn't ask me the drink want to made cold or hot, only ask what size. So I reply " One americano . One Latte", and also you didn't ask me too many questions during the whole ordering process, just let me pay! But it's funny. You send us 2 hot drinks, so I ask for made it again. I know you guys want to off right now! But the drinks you just change it tricky. No any flavors, just like water... I'm very regret to pay for tips 🙂 even come here. By the way, I leaving 2:12 p.m. I don't you guys service is also like that or only this time. No more come back. 🙃God bless

Absolutely delicious. Quite possibly the best breakfast and brunch spot in the area. Highly recommend trying their house-made hot sauces. "The Sauce" is mild and very tasty and the other one is hot. Loved their jam. We ate: Thr Breakfast Plate Eggs, Hash Brown Au Gratin (so yummy!!), Bacon and Sausages. and The Corn Tostada Sunny Side Up Eggs, Cotija Cheese, Salsa Verde, Crispy Corn Tortilla and a whole lot of sweet corn. If you're into canned sweet corn, you're going to love this. Note: they don't poach eggs. Service was fantastic and friendly

Great food! Had the best, fluffiest waffle. Their homemade jam is awesome! My boyfriend had one of their burgers and he also loved it. The bacon in it was crispy and flavorful and patty was delicious as well.

We found this gem of a place and were not disappointed. The food was top-notch. It's hard to find a good breakfast place worth the price of admission, but Cos&pi was worth every penny. The food exploded with flavor in every bite. As the food disappeared off our plates there was a sense of loss as We did not want the experience to end.

One of the best brunch spots in Pasadena area. The avocado toast is very tasty, only wish the toast can be not over heated next time.

The hash brown au gratin is worth traveling across LA to eat. And the breakfast burger was delicious - a fried egg and onion jam? Wow. They also fresh squeeze their OJ. Great little spot if you want a tasty breakfast!
