Visited today 3/29/23 for the first time with my family and we loved it! The food was good, service was great and the time we shared was awesome! Definitely coming back for the Jersey pizza!

A great, small family-run restaurant! We ordered Pomodoro pizza and penne vodka. Pizza was amazing with thing, crispy crust and fresh mozzarella and tomatoes. The vodka sauce was so so good! The hospitality and service made it feel super welcoming. I would definitely go back and can’t wait to try their other sauces.

Fantastic neighborhood restaurant, easy for lunch, happy hour or a relaxing dinner. Good menu options, easy feel. Update 2/24 to note that the service somehow gets even better with every visit 👍 8/24 update agrees with the last - wonderfully consistent service 1/31 update, great service and great new specials!

This is a rare find been there twice. The only restaurant that served octopus with an Italian twist. It is tender and tasty I’ll give 4.5 star. Pasta is very good need a little depth in taste. Pizza is good also! Would go back again

Angelina's is our favorite restaurant in South Plainfield. The food is great and they are always really attentive with service. At times they will turn the music up so loud you can't have a conversation. We liked it before the renovation but haven't been back since. So, it's probably even better now.

We stopped in for lunch. We were coming from the funeral of a friend and feeling quite fragile. We were greeted with a friendly, warm, smile and proceeded to have the most wonderful lunch and best restaurant experience! Thank you Angelina’s for taking a sad day and making it better! Great food, great prices, great atmosphere! Highly recommend!

Stopped by with the family for dinner. Nice people, service was good. Pizza is the thing to get here. We had the calamari appetizer, which was delicious. Cacio e Pepe for my entree, was more like garlic and oil. Prosciutto pizza was not to my liking. My wife had a Caesar salad with shrimp. The salad was drenched in dressing and the shrimp were very salty. We were a bit disappointed with the food. This place is just starting out, and the pizza was very good except for the prosciutto. We will probably give it another shot.

A nice neighborhood tavern where you can get a pizza and basic Italian favorites. Food was okay but, service is attentive and friendly. This is where it shines. They have a separate dining area in the evening or when there is an overflow from the dining area at the bar. Plenty of parking within their lot. Prices are competitive and they charge a fee for credit cards. Give it a try.

Went here based on reviews and, while it was fine, it was nothing more than that. The pizza is the star of the menu. Good toppings, great crust, and perfectly baked. We also got the arancini (only ok), eggplant parm (meh), side pasta (tomato cream sauce was interesting), with side salad and bread (both were decidedly average). The service was good but not more than that, and the prices reasonable. That said, with good pizza places all over, Angelina's will have to step up its game to be worth visiting again.

My husband and I celebrated our daughters baptism at Angelina’s and I couldn’t thank them enough for accommodating a big group of family! The Italian food was so great, the staff was exceptional and very understanding due to (some of our family coming in late to the restaurant). Shout out to Lia and the other lady that assisted in setting up our venue so beautifully in the beginning till the end, to Gio, and the rest of the family staff, chef etc etc.. our family had a great time.
