This
spot
is
getting
better
all
the
time.
SSP
has
been
working
over
the
last
few
years
to
add
baseball
fields
and
a
playground
to
the
dog
park
and
running/biking
trails
that
are
already
there.
It's
$20
for
an
annual
pass
to
the
dog
park,
which
is
basically
a
LARGE
open,
mowed
field.
They
have
waste
bags
stationed
all
around
which
is
nice.
I
have
seen
a
water
fountain
for
both
people
and
dogs
installed,
but
have
yet
to
see
it
working.
??
Also
have
a
section
of
the
dog
park
fenced
off
for
smaller
or
shy
dogs.
Portable
toilets
are
available.
Lovely
views
of
the
Mississippi.
Opposite
the
river
is
an
active
railroad
however,
which
can
be
noisy,
but
is
also
cool
to
see.
Small
engine
planes
land
at
the
nearby
St.
Paul
Municipal
airport.
You
can
walk
across
Concord
on
the
pedestrian
bridge
to
get
to
Simon's
Ravine
which
is
DREAMY
-
my
family's
favorite
place
in
SSP!
Only
thing
I
wish
there
were
more
of
at
the
dog
park
would
be
shade
trees.
They
have
a
few
small
ones
around
the
perimeter,
but
if
it's
a
hot
or
windy/cold
day,
being
out
in
the
open
field
is
not
that
pleasant.
Of
course,
my
dog
ALWAYS
loves
it,
so
there's
that!
