Good open air space and good food (especially mangut pari). Come here if you are looking for a traditional eating experience with bamboo tables & chairs and aluminium plates & cups. Very crowded on the weekends. The staff are very kind but can be confusing for first timers since there is no written flow or clear lines for getting a table, ordering, and paying. Food is mostly ready but the serving takes really long probably because of the number of customers.

Far… far… away from home, but still i cannot resist when my wife ask me to go there. Place : needs an extra effort to get there, but believe me its worthed. If you park your car next to the street than you have to walk on an elevated path. To make more epic on your way to Tuman, you will pass through a public cemetery. Spooky? Nope… it’s fun… Food : all of food here is good. Try everything here, all is delicious. It’s mix between javanese food and padang food. Mangut, scramble & crispy eggs, gulai and many more side dishes (tempe, tofu, banana) are very delicious. Drink : wedang sereh, wedang uwuh and all of wedang kind is good. Ambient : it brings nature vibes and you will feel that you are in the middle of traditional village. There are an outdoor and indoor place, but I recommend to take the outdoor table. Price : its very fair if compare to the taste. It cost around 300k for 5 persons. Overall, Tuman bring us back to home, especialy for you who are javanese. Food, drink and the ambient of this place is amazing it really like home. So… come and enjoy..

Experience eating Sundanese dishes in a “kampung” or village ambience. You need to walk quite a distance passing local’s houses, small cemetery, a clearing used for children to play soccer before you reach Warung Tuman. Most of the tables are outdoor and there are stalls where you can order food and drinks. The food are pretty good. We tried the fried chicken, tempe mendoan, sayur daun pepaya and fried egg with red rice. I like the ice tea, it has a slightly sweet flavor despite no sugar. Will come back again to try more dishes especially the mangut. Note: bring a higher car like MPV so you can park a little inside rather than by the roadside.

(WARNING: Reservation during weekend! Or you'll wait endlessly) Modest place with the ambient of Kampong or countryside eatery. With nice and polite crews serving you. They even ask how the food tasted etc. Not many much menus to choose from. But in my opinion, their best features are: Mangut Pari (Stingray Stoop) Telur Dadar (Fried Eggs) Tempe Mendoan Ayam Goreng Kremes Jeruk Kunci Hangat (beverages) .. and of course, the natural surrounding. Having your meals with soft-wind blowing and rustling leaves, listening to cicadas' sound in open space surrounded by trees. Priceless for us city-dwellers. Kind of remind me of my childhood. Eating with metal plates including drinking mug is also a standard here, no straws too. And for religious views, this place is next to a local cemetery. Remind us that once life is over, we shall have a place for our future.

Warung Tuman BSD located at Jl.Ciater Tengah , is better we park along the side street at Jl.Wana Kencana location infront of Indomaret ( after Kencana Loka housing area ) , there will be attendant that help us. From parking area we walk around 5 minutes through village to Warung Tuman. Dining area is spacious , clean and neat . Here served authentic Javanese Food and Padang . We try Mangut Pari Asap , Gulai Bareh , Telor Dadar  Gaek , Ikan Bilih , Mendoan , Pisang Goreng and Kopi Tubruk Nice atmoshepre from morning to afternoon.  Food taste is delicious .

One of the most unique place in BSD. Seeing is believing, tasty f&b with reasonably pricing ($ friendly for sure), cool & breezy air, with very traditional way of services. For bike goers or motorcycler, you can park on location, but for car rider you may expect to walk 100m+ through cemetery, garden, and neighbour houses. Pick early time before 14:00 as weather may goes wrong within afternoon.

Home style of food. The waiters is welcoming. The food home style. If you came little bit late, you will have to wait for seat place. While you wait you can enjoy this place that have so many big tree. But the outside of this place is grave yard

All was perfect. Good foods with reasonable price. Ambience are superb (except when it rains). Better use anti mosquito lotion before visiting since it is located literally in the middle of rural area. If you bring elderly people with you, do consider bringing wheelchair. The place is located deep inside the village, about 8 minutes walk from the parking lot. You have to go through the residential area and passing through cemetery in order to get to this place. But sidewalks were decent so don't worry :) Service was superb too, polite and helpful.

Warung Tuman offers a serene outdoor dining experience nestled beneath lush trees. Its signature dishes, including Dendeng Batokok, Mangut Pari Asap, Nila Calabalatuik, and Gulai Bareh, reflect the rich flavors of Indonesian cuisine. Complementing the meal are various snacks like Pisang Goreng, Mendoan, and Bakwan Jagung. Guests can indulge in refreshing beverages such as Coffee Beer and Teh Bunga Telang. Accessible only by foot or motorcycle, the venue charges a parking fee of 10k per entry, accommodating cash, debit, and transfer payments.

Hidden Gem in BSD. The food is good. It is homey. Anyone interested in trying traditional foods, here is the place. The ambiance is superb. There is live music also. The staffs are helpful and responsive. The price of the food makes it so worth it to try. The only setback is the access. Even tho it is reachable by car, the road is narrow. Must try!

So you remember the food in the village and the atmosphere is also decorated like in the countryside. The taste of the food is perfect and delicious, the atmosphere is also different from the others, while the service is excellent. Only parking is a bit difficult because there is no land and if you want to get the rural atmosphere you have to make a little effort because you have to walk. But everything is paid for once you reach the location.

Came here for lunch, somehow underestimate before arrived. No queueing, even it's public holiday. The food are great for who else love traditional food, as like you eat grandma's food : Mangut Iwak Pe, Nila Mangut Santan, Dendeng Batokok Green Chilli, Mendoan, Pisang Goreng, Es Jeruk Kunci, Wedhangan, Bunga Pepaya Sauted, Rojak, etc. The price list are cheap for Jakartans people The staff are humble and very good services. Will come back again with other members.

After outdoor activity at BSD, my friend booked lunch at Warung Tuman. Our car parked on the street, and the we walk to the venue. Its about 300m from car park to the restaurant, a little hiking, pass the grave. We came at 12.15pm and a lil bit crowded. We prefer to got seat indoor, because the sky almost dark. I ordered Nasi Putih (5k), Mangut Pari Asap (25k), Telur Dadar Gaek (17k), Es Teh Tawar (4k), its not included tax 10%. The portion for the Nasi Putih and Telur Dadar Gaek was big enough, and I really like the Mangut Pari Asap, delicious! After the main menu, me and my friend ate Durian (100k for small one). You can pay here not only with cash but also QR. The service also fast, the queue not stuck and mosque is also available there. Sometimes, they play live music.

A hidden gem of a great place to eat! The food's delicious, and in an open space like this, makes it a very cozy place to eat or even hangout. And the staffs are friendly. The downside is only there's a lot of flies flying around, which is normal for an open space like this place. Overall, good experience and I say it once again, GREAT FOOD!

This Resto serves traditional Javanese mixed with padangnese foods. It's surrounded with bamboo trees and other high rise trees making the atmosphere cooled and relaxing. It's my second visit with family. Recommended to those who miss traditional foods and drinks with reasonable prices.

If you’re looking for home-cook then you came in the right place. Even though the location is quite challenging to reach, but it’s like a sanctuary when you get there. I think the most wanted snack is Bakwan jagung. We ran out of it so we tried tempe mendoan & banana fritters. I think the champion goes to Pari Asap or I called it mangut. Caution for the portion! Can not say it’s a big portion but for me, it’s more like for 2 person menu esp for the fritters.

This place brings nature vibes, not far from BSD city, need extra effort to get here, but still worth trying. Traditional food was great, especially Ikan Manyung Asap, so fresh. Wedang Uwuh and Coffee beer for drinks were so refreshing. All at affordable price.

Finally, our first time come to Warung Tuman. Sunday morning at 08.00WIB, they just open so we are free to choose many available spot to enjoy the food. We order Mangut ikan pari asap and some others food, and mangut ikan pari asap is two thumbs up. - come when they just open, not so many crowded, especially at weekend or holiday. - it is more easy when you get here by motorcycle or bicycle, you will park in front of the resto, if you riding cars, then you have to walk from the park area to the resto, a little bit outdoor walk 😊.

The food is pretty good, the service is good, very friendly and fast, the place is quite interesting because it's like shacks, but to be honest, the surroundings of the tombs/cemeteries are a bit scary if you bring small children there, my son and husband don't recommend going there for a leak, it's scary, going to the toilet Just in front of the cemetery, while peeing while reading a prayer, you know, then the place is a bit deep so it's a shame to walk because there's no access to the restaurant...
