Best Chile Relleno burrito in town!

First I'd like to say, the lady (blonde) that took our order was soo nice! We told her it was our first time and she said "you're gunna love it" .. after having the food, I'd assume she hasn't eaten there herself. The menudo had 3 "patas" which is typically asked if you want one; but it had 3 & we don't really ever get that. Meat was very fatty! Red stringyness I've never seen in menudo before. Super UnderFlavored!! Hominy was still tough Birra taste like they ran out of sauce and threw in some mole sauce to it. Pretty sweet. Super Odd. Beans were forsureee from a can. No reason for that when beans are inexpensive and from a Mexican restaurant, shouldn't have a problem making em from scratch. Alpastor Taco was good! Cafe de la olla was goood! But the rest of the food just killed the vibe. Nopal mulita was a special request and was so sad to have soggy underflavored nopales. And the Mexican Coke has no business being $5. Even with inflation. For a total if $59 after tax P.S restroom was outback, which is cool! But there were tons of dirty boxes and flies from the food outside their kitchen door.. bad smell coming from them.. just a turnoff **I edited the post to remove the pricing cause I was off a bit, but the total was still $59 and not reasonable for the quality. There was 3 patas in the menudo, 2 are shown in the photo below. We personally love and only support small business. So no intention of making a small business look bad.. this is just a review on our experience.

I love LA. Why? Because of little places like this one. Just a mom and pop taqueria, but the food is amazing--freshly made, authentic, and reasonably priced. To boot, the service is friendly and on point. If you're eating in, they actually provide complementary chips and salsa, plus bring the food to your table. A++ class act.

To start off I have been coming to this restaurant for over a year. I’ve tried most of their food and it never disappoints! This restaurant has authentic Mexican food and prices are very reasonable for the great quality of food. I love coming on the weekend for the menudo and the horchata. The customer service was excellent. If you want to try authentic Mexican food you have to try this place. I promise you are going to want to come back😋

I recently ate at Taqueria Los Santos and had the pozole. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the meat was tender. I highly recommend trying the pozole at this restaurant.

I moved two days near this location and wanted to stop by and today I did. So THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME . I ordered to go. I paid $58 dlls plus tip because girl asked for a tip and pointed on the receipt where to add it lol I figured okay well she was nice. But when I got home food was missing. I realized she didn't even gave me a receipt to know what was charged only the receipt to the charged done to my card. I called and spoke with her and she didn't want to give me her name. Said she could give me back the tip that was not a problem. I said said how so? You won't give me your name ..then someone grab the phone and asked "What can I do for you?" What's your name and didn't want to give it. I hanged up. It was useless. Hired people that can handled a situation like this. I became a unhappy customer.I felt robbed.

This place is a gem. Tacos are bursting with flavor (and the amount of meat), everything is delicious to the point of tears, and service is super friendly and fast. A quintessential LA experience, where amazing food is served in very humble and unassuming surroundings.

"Taco Tuesday" Went there this evening, just wanting tacos out of a restaurant instead of a food truck. The service from the waitress was amazing - she was super sweet and wanted to make sure she had our order right. I had the 2 x $1.99 Tuesday Special (2 pastor & 2 carnitas) my son order a chicken burrito and tacos gorvenador (shrimp tacos with cheese) sadly, we didn't eat the majority of the food. The taco shells (tortillas) were cold and greasy and the meat was just bland ... I chucked it up to S1 tacos what can I really expect. Then I saw that my son was NOT eating his burrito he just said it tasted bad at the most he took 2 bites, and we payed for a ton of extras (sour cream, cheese, guacamole) so leaving that kind hurt. The star of the show and the ONLY reason I would consider returning is for thr tacos gorvenador (shrimp tacos) Our bill /check out was not handled by our waitress but by a very rude man! He looked at us as if he was annoyed by our presence (side note we are bi-racial) I tried to stay positive and said maybe its the lay out or the traffic at the entrance ... ordering/pick-ups/payments and the entrance/exit is all in the same place so it's congested...that in combination with the staff trying to get to and from the outdoor tacos station etc. Well, he had an eye roll and a very can you hurry type attitude. It being that he just threw an amount at us, I asked him if he can please itemize my items and give me a receipt. He DIDN'T like that one bit. Long review short the food lacked it was way over priced, and we walked out and both stated I would have picked McDonald's over this!!! (McDonald's is across the street) I hope this review helps.

this place is absolutely delicious , you must come for the top breakfast picks the chilaquiles , huevos rancheros, café de olla AND machaca con huevo 🔥 incredibly bomb , the service is a 10/10 and there taco tuesday absolutely the best vibes . waitresses give the best service this place is a gem very clean kitchen & good servings love this place if i can give it a 10000/10 i would

Service was good tacos are tasty pastor asada and chorizo tacos very good tasty... will go back if needed .. but get ready to use a microscope to ready the menu .. and if your color blind forget it

This little whole in a wall, is an incredible culinary surprise. The key word of their food is flavor ! All the meals I've ordered are home quality food. To me this place has the cleanest, quality menudo I've had the pleasure to enjoy. Their tortillas are hand made, fresh ! This is family run, and their food represents just that.

I ordered chicken enchiladas and they were really good. I've never had chicken enchiladas like these before!! This order had 2 enchiladas, rice, beans and a small salad. My dad loved his food also. Price was perfect for the amount of food. We will be going back again!!

I googled a taco place near me and I got this place I’m so happy I did their rating is high no wonder why…. their food was very Delicious I got their taco plate with rice and beans yummmmyy from the tacos to the beans and to the rice ate the plate Enjoying every bite even their cucumbers that they gave on the side with lime and radish were so fresh and crispy everything was so yummy and that’s why I gave it a 5 ⭐️ I definitely will recommend 😊wish I lived in the area though 😢

The red chicken enchiladas are amazing! I'm very picky with my enchiladas and these were some of the best ones I've had. Will definitely come here again. Rice was really good too.

I went on Taco Tuesday and ordered, while I was waiting for my order I saw an employee digging up his nose for gold at the entrance of the kitchen. I said that's nasty go wash your hands, he went to the sink and poured water on them and went back to work. I spoke to the man that was serving, told him what I witnessed and I asked for my money back... Needless to say I won't be returning to this location. I was assured he'd let the owner know but who really knows. 🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢

The best burritos in town I go there every Friday during lunch

The place looked clean. Your typical Mexican restaurant. The food was tasteless. The menudo had no flavor whatsoever. I never knew that tortillas hechas a Mano could be so bland. Also the breakfast burrito could use flavor. The beans were salty (as if it was out of the can), the rice as well with alot of garlic.

This place is so delicious I love there quesabirrias and there alpastor tacos are the best the service is very good my waiter was Jose very attentive the menudo wa the best I’ve had so far

Food was fresh and they make their tortillas by hand. I ordered asada and chicken tacos, very flavorful. Loved their home made chile, had a good kick. Price was amazing!

I came by this little gem in Whittier I order there pozole it’s so delicious and the meat is tender it’s a must try and my husband order the birria de chivo it was delicious he love it and the plus is home made tortillas the waitress mention there taco Tuesday special .75 I’ll be here Tuesday

The Nachos were delicious, we also had burritos and menudo.

Tacos are yummy! And the enchiladas 😋 super good!
