We had a chance to see John Williams conduct at the famous Hollywood Bowl, and it was epic. Parking seemed a little chaotic for it being our first time, and expensive $22, but we got there really early. There is a shuttle for way less $7 pre, and $12 day of, so it might be worth it to visit the website and check that out. You can also pay beforehand and save a few bucks. Be ready for plenty of walking, with some areas that are pretty steep. Food was expensive, as you would expect, and not all that great for the price. However, food and drinks are allowed in LA Phil-presented events. Check on the website for exact details, but depending on the event, you can come prepared for a picnic. The group next to us had it all, even some to share. Also, remember that this is outdoor seating, so check the weather and be prepared. You might want to bring a blanket or jacket even on a summer night. We purchased seat cushions for $1, and I would highly recommend doing that. Again, it was a great night, and the memories made are well worth making it happen.

We traveled to California to see the Game of Thrones concert at The Hollywood Bowl for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised by the venue's location nestled between the mountains. Every seat in the house had a great view, and we thoroughly enjoyed the concert. The acoustics were outstanding, and the sound quality was superb. The evening performance was particularly breathtaking under the stars, and it created a romantic ambiance. Overall, we fell in love with the venue and the whole experience. You have the option to either bring your own food or purchase from the vendors outside of The Hollywood Bowl. However, it's worth noting that the food may be costly. Due to potential parking difficulties, it's recommended to use ride-sharing as a preferred method of transportation to The Hollywood Bowl. Aside from the Game of Thrones themes and songs, the fireworks were the highlight of our experience and made it truly unforgettable. Attending a music show at The Hollywood Bowl is a must-do for anyone seeking an unforgettable experience. You're bound to fall in love with it.

My experience here was absolutely incredible, the staff was very pleasant and were willing to help you find your seat if you needed it. I really liked how spacious the walking areas of the bowl are and I also love the historic feel to the venue. The lights that light up the stage and bowl are beautiful and make the experience even more enjoyable. My family and I came to see Black Panther in Concert and we had a great time! We are looking forward to our next concert/event here. One tip for the bowl: fix your website!! It’s awful Aside from that I loved coming to the Hollywood Bowl :)

Went and saw Ziggy here for the first time ever. Nice venue. The way it is set up, there is literally not a bad seat in the house. Very nice August evening. I like how you are able to bring in your own food and alcohol. Will definitely be bringing our own next time. Otherwise, still a great time with the wife 😋

The bowl is majestic the vibe there is amazing. This place is historic and it never ceases to amaze me. If you want a laid back enjoyable venue to see your favorite performers see them at The Bowl. I cannot wait to get back to the Bowl! I was terrified after ready reviews about parking and space. I was happy to find the parking was amazingly easy and accessible. Lot B provides a lot of parking and is available day of as well.

What a great iconic venue to watch a concert. The sound system was on point and the screens were easy to view. We attended the Disney Animation concert and it blew away my expectations. Such a great performance especially with Broadway singers singing the lyrics. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Lots of different food options available and the Jumbo popcorn for $9 was a deal. Would highly highly recommend using the park and ride shuttles as it made coming and going from Hollywood Bowl such a breeze. Such a great experience and can't wait to go back for another concert. I do not recommend parking at the Bowl as they double stack all the vehicles so you can't leave until the vehicles in front of you leave.

Although there wasn't any show going on, it was still a treat to be able to see this wonderful amphitheater. Its quite a trek to the top but you can see the Hollywood sign in the distance.

Love love love the Hollywood Bowl! We arrived around 6pm. Had drinks, food and snacks before the main event at 8 pm. It was pure positive energy. We were lucky had a friend allowed us to park and walked from their home to the Bowl. So no traffic parking hassle for us. Show up early for your event time. Your allowed beverages, snacks, food. No hard liquor, your bags will be checked and security detectors at entrance. Check into shuttle service if you're not familiar with the parking hassle. There is a 15 to 20 minute walk to seating area , however there are escalators and moving walkway to help you. The sound was great the performance had everyone standing and cheering enjoying the evening event.

What an amazing venue! To see you with all these four seasons by the LA Phil. Went with friends and had dinner in one of the lower box seats followed by the concert. Totally gorgeous environment and so cool to hear the ambient small sounds of nature in the background every time the music came to a close. Very historic event, with architectural roots going back to Frank Lloyd Wright's son, Lloyd, back in 1928. So cool!

Very nice open-air concert venue. The staff helps with parking (although I parked in a parking lot on one of the neighboring streets, but I saw a lot of police officers and workers who showed exactly where to go), places are just as easy to find. The benches are rustic, but you can rent a comfortable seating cushion for just a dollar. There are several stalls offering food - I didn't really like the local pizza, but the popcorn is excellent. I was at a concert of classical music - the orchestra conducted by Gustavo Dudamel, and I was very worried about the sound, but it turned out to be great. The arena is in a hollow among the hills and the sound is great. There are also screens that show a close-up scene of the descending hectare - very convenient. In general, I really liked it - I got great pleasure from attending the concert.

Really cool place, we went and saw it on a day where there was no show, so essentially it becomes a park. There was a lot of parking, shopping stalls and restaurants were not open but there was definitely a lot of options as far as food and alcohol go. I heard that you can also bring your own food and drinks in if you want during a show. 5/10 would go again.

The bowl provides a fun loose atmosphere affordable fun, a great sound system and video coverage for full close up feed. The outdoor under the stars vantage make this complete picture special. You can bring your own food drink/ wine. It is a total win win. I attended The Quincy Jones Tribute. It was a great show. Enjoy some photos from the night.

Such an iconic venue. Easy access in and out. Quick service at concessions. A wonderful atmosphere and incredible acoustics. I had high expectations of the Bowl but they were more than exceeded. I'd recommend to get there early due to traffic and absorb thd atmosphere outside before the gate opens and you can drink your own wine or beer there.

Love this place! No matter where you sit it sounds great and you'll have great views. I've been here a few times over the years, my latest visit was to see King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Best concert I've ever seen and heard! Didn't know they allow you to bring coolers and food for certain shows. Will do that next time since food prices are understandably pricey. Ride-sharing is definitely recommended too.

A simply legendary venue that lives up to the fame. Nothing can beat a night of music under the stars at the Bowl! Check in advance, but for many concerts you can bring your own picnic - that includes food of any type, coolers, and even bottles of wine and beer! Food and drink are available for purchase too, of course. You can eat at your seats or try to find a table on the grounds before the show, but those seem to go fast. Be sure you're plenty early because security and walking to your seats will take some time. Parking is very tough and you usually need to buy a pass in advance. The rideshare drop-off is hard to find, so jump out when you can if you arrive in an Uber or Lyft. After the show, follow the signs to the pickup zone and summon your ride home from there. You can also walk/scooter to and from the nearby Hollywood and Highland metro station, or pay for one of the park and ride shuttles that leave from various locations around town. But no matter what you choose, it's worth the hassle!

First time using the shuttle service (from ELAC). We were left at the entry. It was the best decision. It's always a fantastic concert because of the acoustics and the iconic setting. Listening to the performer (Ruben Blades & his band) on a summer night with a cocktail in hand and dancing was perfect LA summer night.

Great venue for live music. Such an iconic location with a lot of history. Anyone who is anyone in the music industry has performed here at some point. The acoustics are very good from any seat from the front all the way to the back.Take a picnic and enjoy the grounds before a concert, and enjoy the different viewpoints from various levels of this amazing place.

We hadn’t gone back to Hollywood Bowl since before the pandemic. It pretty much looked the same but I don’t remember the box seats with tables. But this time was my first time sitting there. Haha. We parked at the hotel and took a shuttle that dropped us off right at the bowl. It was way easier than sitting in your car waiting for the person behind you to get there. The flow to get past security was fast and organized. They had a pretty good menu for food and drinks, but most were sold out when we went to order from our server. Who was attentive and very awesome! It was a beautiful, perfect night to sit outside and watch Dave Matthews Band! A sisters night out I won’t forget!

A wonderful outdoor theater. I went and enjoyed the John Williams Maestro of the Movies performance with David Newman and the L.A. Philharmonics. The theater allows food and drink to be brought in and at this performance, a LOT of wine is brought in. There are a lot of food and beverage options including a bar. There is a rooftop restaurant that you have to have reservations for well in advance. The performance was flawless. John Williams, the creator of the scores to movies such as E.T., Indiana Jones, Star Wars, etc. He is 89 and still conducting. This performance, he has a lot of Star War fans. A lot, including us, bring in Light Sabers that light up. The whole crowd lights up with them in all colors. See photo for visual. We go every year because it could be John’s last performance. The photo of John walking off the stage in the photo attached could be his last exit. If you have never gone to one of his performances, please go. To get to the bowl, you have to take a bus in. You park at a mall, or the Zoo, or parking lot area away from the bowl. The bus ride could be 10 mins or even 40. There is so limited parking at the bowl that busing in is the only option. Tickets are $6 per person. To get tickets to the bowl, we bought the season tickets. We go on ticketstubs.com and sell all the performances for real cheap and so we have just the John Williams performance left. We get the tickets free in the end and sometimes make money out of it. It’s something to look into. If you’ve never gone to the bowl, check it out. Tickets are not overly expensive but depending if you want to sit in seats or bench bleachers, will depend on how much you want to spend. There are monitors for those far away so even the far away seats you still get to see the performance. This place is a great treat!

Bought tickets for 5 concerts here a few months ago. Buy parking space in advance. We had to walk 30 minutes each way for a parking lot. You can bring your own food and beverages. The sound is phenomenal and precised. Got cold a little bit a night. The seats are hard you can bring a cushion or rent one for $1 each. Food is a little expensive, might as well bring yours in. Next concert is Cafe Tacuba, I'll update with pictures too, I can't wait!!!!

Had an excellent time attending d-nice concert. We stayed at a hotel a block away so we were able to walk (parking and transit was severely crowded). The venue itself was perfect! Seating was plentiful, although some may need one of the $1 rental pads to sit on. I absolutely love the fact they let you bring in coolers, alcohol and food. Saved a ton of $ just doing this. Although, there’s plenty of restaurants on site, most people ate onsite at the picnic tables before entering the hall. Exiting the arena can be a bit tricky as they want you to walk under the tunnel. So be prepared to walk and wait. Also, loved the fireworks display after the concert! Perfect end to a great concert.

Here at the Hollywood Bowl, my parents and I had a chance to see one of the greatest conductors of classical music today, performing arguably one of the most impassioned and profound symphonies ever written - Venezuelan conductor and music director for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Gustavo Dudamel performing Beethoven's 9th Symphony. Listening to this classical performance was a dream come true, and experiencing it at a venue like the bowl made it an even more memorable experience. Visiting or living in LA is incomplete until listening to a performance at the Hollywood Bowl.

I had THE best Juneteenth experience "ever" in my Garden level seat. The staff literally accompanied me to my seat, extremely polite! I took advantage of the shuttle ride to the venue!! I sat near some very friendly people! The show was fabulous and restrooms very very tidy and clean. The boxes are excellent with tables available for dinning while you enjoy the festivities!

One of the best venues to watch a live show! Love coming to the bowl for a concert. Great atmosphere. Just take a shuttle to the bowl, because the traffic is terrible. Parked at the LA zoo, jumped on the shuttle and all that congestion avoided! 👌🏽

The Hollywood Bowl is an awesome venue for concerts. We went to see The Who there this month and it was the best concert I have ever been to. The sound and natural acoustics we're incredible. Iconic southern California venue that has been around for almost a hundred years. It loses a star ONLY because the parking is such a nightmare. Shuttle busses are an option from cities such as Torrance and Lakewood, so consider that as an alternative. Food and beverage prices are a bit crazy, but that's to be expected. The sound here is incredible. Any show you see here will be worth your while.

My favorite activity in the Summer is to go to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. Packing dinner and wine in a picnic basket creates a scene of romantic evening with music. I guess we’ve been watching too many Hollywood movies featuring the Hollywood Bowl. My wife and I go to Hollywood Bowl for concert at least 3 times a year during the summer. Many Angelenos share the similar affinity with this famous landmark in Los Angeles since 1922. We have all been enjoying live music from this historic venue as part of life in Southern California. The best time to go is during July 4th with live music and spectacular fire work. It’s quite enjoyable with that evening. People would just dance and celebrate independence day. It’s the tradition that concert goers would bring their own food and drinks for the concert. But some concerts don’t allow you to bring alcohols and soft drinks. you can only buy drinks inside from the Bowl vendors. Getting to the Bowl is easy too. you can either drive and park your car at the Bowl, take a chartered bus from many locations throughout LA or drive to a closest designate parking lots and then take a shuttle to the Bowl. Since we have a chartered bus station that’s very close to our home in Arcadia, we normally take the bus to Hollywood Bowl. it’s the most convenient way.

We were in September 2022 at the Pentatonix Concert. Never been to the Hollywood Bowl before. I really liked the acoustics, large screens with excellent images. They rented pillows to sit on. You could also take food with you, but we didn't think about it, so we had to queue and pay double the price for tacos and beer. For the evening, you definitely need to take a blanket or jacket. Parking was booked in advance. We arrived 2 hours before the start, walked there in the museum. Definitely recommend this place

Our favorite venue to attend concerts. The sound there is awesome! We buy tickets to take the shuttle to attend events. The shuttle drops you off upfront. There’s a museum there that has the bowl’s history. Pretty cool museum, however the upstairs exhibit was closed for updates. They do allow to bring food and closed drinks into the venue. Check if you can bring alcohol for each event. You can also rent seat cushions for $1. We love going here!

What a wonderful venue! Not a bad seat in the place. Great acoustics, peaceful in the trees, intimate for 17,000 seats. Love that they let you bring in food! And picnic areas all over. My first time here was for Willie's 90th birthday but it will not be my last show here!

I love the Hollywood Bowl! My friends and I drove down from Santa Barbara to see Ricky Gervais. He is the thinking person's Comedian. All your base thoughts that no one sees, yet we all feel at some time or another are funny. It was the first big concert since Covid for us. It was almost shocking how many people were there jammed together. No more staying 6 feet apart, more like 6 mm. Lol. We brought a picnic because the website says there are picnic tables. There is ONE actual picnic table. There are a few benches, but you'll all have to sit in a row, not in the more communal style. The restrooms are confusing, you have to search for the sinks. The Bowl itself is clean. The staff was patient, friendly, and helpful. Parking was "stacked". Bring a blanket. You can bring food in. Any beverage containers have to be empty. There is plenty to buy to fill your container, believe me. Overall it was a fabulous evening! Laughter is an amazing mood Booster. Being with friends and enjoying ourselves together is awesome. The drive down the 101 was pretty easy. Think of how many acts, etc., and awesome music has been there over the years!

Need I say anything besides "This is the World Famous Hollywood bowl"? I thought not. I can, however, say something about parking. Best not to try. There are lots of options, so look them up on their website so you're prepared. Do yourself a favor and use their practically free shuttles that will take you from up to 20 miles away and drop you right at the front entrance. The cost of the shuttle is less than $10 and the cost of parking, if you can get it, is no less than $30. The pictures I'm posting are from July 7th, 2023. It is the philharmonic and the movie maestro, John Williams, performing a special show that included the Fullerton state college choir.

We loved it here, only issue is parking. It is stacked ( everyone is parked and packed in parking lots), no exit till event over and everyone leaving. Great wooden bench seats and can rent a seat cushion for $1. Can bring your own food and drinks to some events, check event calendar first to confirm. We watched the 10th game awards and Jack Black came on twice. So awesome. Big screens to watch if you are further back, we were but will definitely visit again. Walk to bowl from parking is uphill, be ready.

This was our first time visiting the Hollywood Bowl, and it was for the Walt Disney Animation Studios Concert. This place was beautiful, clean, very spacious, and, of course, very organized. We used a ride share service, which was great because they have a designated location just for them to drop and pick you up, which is very convenient and very close to the main entrance. We sat in section H, which was great because it's centered with the stage. I was impressed with the sound as well because it was super clear and not overpowering. The popcorn was delicious, too. We'll definitely be back.

Awesome awesome venue! All seats may not have the best view but they have some TV's large enough to see the person/s on stage. But the acoustics and sound were amazing! Plenty of food and drinks . Get there early to hang out , eat , drink and get some free samples of food and drinks . Lots to do while waiting of your event. Take a sweater. Open theater and open to the elements. So prepare accordingly

The Hollywood Bowl is my absolute favorite venue, for a variety of reasons. But mostly because it offers an experience you don't enjoy indoors. You catch it on a beautiful summer night, and there is literally no better place to be. The stage is historic in and of itself, it's a who's who's kind of list. Look it up yourself haha. I was recently there for Mariachi USA Festival 2021, it's was a spectacle to view and listen. All I can say is if you've never been, I urge you, plan an evening, watch anything, and experience the magic yourself.

Went and saw the 10 year game anniversary concert. Was amazing and probably one of the best concerts I've been to. If the bowls philharmonic is playing then you're allowed to bring in your own food drinks and alcohol. A lot of people did so. It's a great venue with a wonderful vibe and I'll definitely be going back. Traffic leaving sucks though. Park far away and get an Uber up and then trek back on foot to your car. I parked near hollywood Blvd. There's a lot of people who walk so don't worry about walking alone if you're by yourself.

What a great place to spend an evening with the beach boys and a fireworks show afterwards. Parking is a challenge and even finding your car, with the looming busses which overshadow parking lots, can be challenging. Line into stadium took 40min because of security so be patient! Plenty of food options, including popcorn and chicken.

This place is the best experience! You can bring your own food and drinks, backpacks and bags, and just enjoy the vibe! It is a Must-Do experience if you visit Los Angeles or even live there! The only negative, is that it is HUGE and the further back you sit, the harder it is to see. I strongly suggest you don’t sit further back from Terrace seating. The performers become ants at that point. We saw Boyz II Men. Honestly, a lot of fans were upset because they played a bunch of covers rather than the songs that made THEM popular—the songs we all loved! I felt that I did not get what I expected nor what I paid for. I give that show 2.5 out of 5 stars. Don’t go see them, unless you have money to throw away. I’m a big fan, but playing other artist’s songs rather than the well-loved hits we all grew up on, is sad. They said they were going to “Try something different” and it was not well received. Worst of all, they performed for barely an hour.

Saw Diana Krall at Hollywood Bowl and it was incredible. The bowl is such a cool venue with food and beverage options throughout. The weather was great on July 19, 2023 when I saw Diana perform. The opening performance featured 3 amazing musicians called The String Queens. I want to come back to The Hollywood Bowl for more concerts.

We went to the Quincy Jones 90th Birthday Celebration! It was full of surprise guests including Stevie Wonder and John Legend. The backup singers all had turns as soloists. Great outdoor venue with very diverse music offerings. I especially recommend the classical Tuesday or Thursday concerts as the LA Philharmonic is of the best orchestras in the country. Acoustic is good even in the back rows and the huge monitors give a good view. Best part of the experience is that one can bring wine and food in and have a pre-concert picnic at the seat. However, cost of food and drink is not bad.

Fantastic venue. Do however, be prepared for a slight hike to get in, mostly uphill. The bowl is always crowded but still totally manageable once you find parking. And staff are everywhere if you need help finding your way around. Also, just FYI, depending on specific show guidelines, generally you're allowed to bring your own cooler with food, alcohol, etc.

First time coming to the Hollywood Bowl and I gotta say I love it. My only complaint was the parking. But I enjoyed the open venue. I will be back soon.

What an incredible venue!! Went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with live music from LA Philharmonic. Wow, blown away! Being part of a full audience complete with laughing, clapping, booing at all the right moments was such a balm to my pandemic-fatigued soul. Traffic will be terrible and parking fills up quick, so leave extra early, especially if you're not used to LA traffic. Glad we brought a blanket by the end of the night and good walking shoes. I really can't wait to get back here!

This amphitheater never disappoints. The audio system & engineering is perfect always, wherever you are sitting. The lighting is very creative too. On special occasions, the fireworks is astounding, in perfect sync with the live music by the great LA PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

A real JOY to enjoy the Hollywood Bowl again, after almost 2 years. The best...Dave Koz and Company. Performances were exceptional. Evening...perfect weather. You can always expect the reunion of old friends & making new acquaintances! Awesome

There is no place better than Hollywood Bowl for a nice picnic & fantastic concert. The prices are very affordable and the staff are very eager to assist you on anyway possible. You can also buy food there and it's delicious. Parking are available & also you can take shuttle too. Very easy !

What a venue! Not a bad seat in the house. Bring a sweater...

Historic venue that’s well laid-out and flexible with what’s allowed to be brought in. Wish we would have brought a picnic like many others did. We saw John Williams himself and it was an incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. We were in N3 row 7 and could just barely see the Hollywood sign peeking through the mountains. Any lower and you won’t be able to.

Saw Maxwell at the Hollywood bowl and last year saw a ballet. Fantastic venue, comfortable, spacious, great acoustics, and light show and fireworks! Maxwell was a friendly, relaxed, and exciting event. I didn’t even know this with her and blues artist, but apparently the entire audience did. As everyone is singing, his music spectacular!

Gorgeous, outdoor venue that can house close to 20,000. Lovely ambiance, folks bring picnic baskets - always great shows playing...parking can be a hassle - it's expensive (about $20) and it's stacked parking, so make sure you're not in a rush on a day where you're headed to/coming from the Hollywood Bowl...

This was such a nice venue. The nicest one I've ever been too. Even being seated further back, it was still very enjoyable. The background view was amazing as well.

Wow!!! What an amazing experience. This venue is absolutely lovely. It's changed a bit since the last time I was there. We took a "ride share" bus to the venue. I highly recommend it. Overall, it was a fantastic memory. I will cherish forever.

Great venue for summer concerts. You can bring food for a picnic before the concert. Benches and grassy areas for seating. Food is also available for purchase but overpriced and not very tasty so I bring my own that I purchase before heading over to the venue. Seat cushions available there to rent for $1 each. They help due to hard bench seating. I recommend taking the shuttle bus to this venue. Tickets are only $7 pp and super convenient departing from various locations and easy to use. You can purchase online on the Hollywood Bowl website. After the concert the bus is easy to find just be sure to verify you are on the correct bus to take you back to where you started.

Los Angeles' premiere concert venue for music under the stars. The best musical acts in the world play here in front of 18,000 people! Exceptional sound system. Love video so you can see closeups even from the last row.

I took a trip down memory lane , in the best of company. Duran Duran at The Hollywood Bowl! They sounded phenomenal. they played most of my favorite songs. It was definitely a scorcher but once we settled in our seats and in no time i didnt care about heat or humidity , the great vibes around us took over .Great venue like always , parking was not as bad. Oh what a night !

The premier venue in Los Angeles to experience a concert. And the greatest music fans in the world attend the shows. The camaraderie among fans is like a family get-together, even though you were perfect strangers before you entered the gates. And for the true music fan, the Annual Subscription grants you access to several concerts and events throughout the Bowl's season. Plus, with annual renewal, you can lock in your favorite seats year after year.

Great experience at the Hollywood Bowl. The acoustic/sound was very clear and the video screens that are strategically placed around the stage allow you opportunity to view the performances no matter where you're sitting withing the amphitheater. In addition, the restaurant select is diverse, we dined at Ann's Wine Bar by A.O.C where I enjoyed the Scottish Salmon and the Little Gems & Dungeness Crab Salad. I most certainly recommend attending a show and dining at the Hollywood Bowl.

Went to my first concert at the Hollywood bowl jazz festival and was definitely worth it. The open environment is welcoming but keep in mind the heat before the Sun sets depending on what time your show is and definitely bring a sweater because of the cool air at night. The food wasn't good but depending on the show, you can bring in your own food and drinks.

  • 5/5 Vicki A. 1 year ago on Google
Great venue to see a concert. Best to go early, park and eat at the picnic tables. We ate up the hill a bit at a more out-of-the-way table. It was great. The concert sound was great. The staff was friendly. We didn't get any food or drinks there so I don't know what sort of things are available. The walk there - and especially back - to the parking lot feels long at times. And there are a lot of people crushing together so maybe take a few extra minutes to leave (not too long or you'll have the staff yelling "Leave the Bowl!") A ton of traffic going to the 101 South...if you can go another route, do so. One of the best places to see a concert in Los Angeles.

Steve Martin and Martin Short was okay, we thought it was family oriented show but boy was I wrong... Concert was okay but have been to better one in the past. Love the venue and the location. If anyone is planning to to take the shuttle!!!! Parking at Hollywood Bowl will be the worst experience anyone would have.

the vibes there is fantastic! The energy and excitement of the crowd made for an unforgettable experience, and the venue itself was impressive with excellent sound quality and great views from every seat. highly recommended to anyone looking for a fun night out in LA - the atmosphere is electric and the memories will last a lifetime 🌟

One of the best experiences I've had watching a concert. Open air, amazing sound and experience. Just a great all around venue. It even rained and no one left, it just added to the experience. Side note: openers were Chic and Nikes Rodgers, they really allowed us to experience the amazing sound and acoustics the Hollywood Bowl is design for, Duran Duran was pretty epic, they sounded the same as if it was 25 years ago. The rain had some effect on the fireworks at the end but it didn't matter. There is some cool history about the lit up cross on the hill the hill ...look it up !

If you're in Los Angeles, see if there are any concerts during your trip. There's no better way to enjoy live music outdoors with a fantastic view. We went to see Pitbull it was one of the greatest shows we've ever seen! We took the shuttle because parking is IMPOSSIBLE here! Highly recommend booking the shuttle that way you don't have to deal with the traffic!

It was a good experience. Had never been. Went to watch the game awards which was so much fun. I do recommend that you get there a bit earlier due to parking and walking to the place. When leaving this place it’s a pain. Too many people. And leaving the parking structure it’s a bigger issue. It took us about 45 minutes to get out. No guidance to get out. Too many people with cars. Other than that. It was great.

We LOVE the Hollywood Bowl. Only in LA can you enjoy a world class orchestra playing the soundtrack to an amazing movie outdoors at night - the weather is always perfect - and the food and wine tops it off

Great venue of course to see wonderful shows and make beautiful memories! Uber drop off and pickup was easy and they have lots of food options at the bowl. Be sure to sign up for the Hollywood Bowl website to get all the latest information.

Great concert venue. However tips, make sure you purchase your parking pass in advance or else you will not find parking anywhere. Try to get here about an hour before your event start. You can bring snacks, a blanket. You can even rent a comfy pillow for you to sit on. Come early. Bring comfy shoes, use the restroom before the event or you will miss parts. 🙃 enjoy.

What a great place to see the greatest pop band of all time! With fireworks!!!! The Bowl is a truly unique concert experience starting with the venue inviting you to bring your own food and drinks! Arrive early and take advantage of this nearly 100 year old historic venue.

Great venue, have been to many concerts here. Sound is amazing for an open space and love that you can bring food and drinks.

Such an awesome venue! Just saw Shania Twain ☺️ best concert! Played a lot of her greatest and just the right amount of new ones. There’s Lots of open space to hang out before a concert. You can bring your own food n wine, beer, juicy juice 😝 don’t forget a blanket to sit on or at a nearby table. You’re in LA but doesn’t feel like the busy craziness when you’re here. Beautiful views all around. * side note- be sure to check details on alcohol”special circumstances” some shows you can bring alcohol in and some you can’t 😉

Went to this venue to see Jill Scott, who was AMAZING! We flew in from out of town and did not know anything about the venue. The first thing I would say is get there extra early. The traffic going inside was no joke. We sat in an Uber for quite some time and ended up getting out and just walking. Others hopped on scooters and rolled up to the entrance? We thought we left in plenty of time, and we were still 30 min late to the show. The venue has plenty of food options and choices. And you can also bring in your own food. One of the things that really slowed down the process was the checking of the bags. There should be a spot for those who have large picnic baskets to go in a separate line, people who don't have purses, and others who have small bags. The big bags really slowed down the process. Outside of the patience needed for the sold-out crowd, the venue was so beautiful, great sound, and the show was fantastic!

Our experience was much better this time. Instead of driving to the bowl, we used their shuttle service. Takes out all the stress of dealing with traffic, but you only get 25 minutes to return to the shuttle once the show ends. We had no problem finding our shuttle. We'll definitely be going to more concerts now that we don't have to drive. Take snacks because their snack bars do sell out even before the shows start.

Great Venue. parking can be stuff because it is stacked parking but otherwise usually a very good time. the weat gate is the most uncrowded entry line at the top of the hill!

Exciting place. Lot of great talents perform at this place. Huge seating arrangements for audience. Been to AR concert. It was just amazing. And this was my first concert to attend and I had great time.

We saw the Beach Boys along with the Hollywood Bowl Orchastra on July 3rd, 2023. The fireworks show following the concert was phenomenal. The Hollywood Bowl is my favorite place to see an outdoor concert. Nestled in the mountain of the Hollywood Hills gives it a unique location, plus you can bring in your own food and beverages. It was a wonderful evening under the stars.

Great venue and all seats have a good view to the stage. 4 stars because everything is soo expensive. $17.50 for a beer is so overpriced :/ The sound was great and even better than some indoor places I’ve been to.
