It's a beautiful place, especially to watch the sunset. Visited the lake recently when the Smart City project is underway and seems like the project will absolutely enhance the lake's beauty furthermore. Occasionally birds do visit the lakes which is also a mesmerizing time to visit the location.

Serene beautiful lake. Still construction work is going on.... could utilise the space for water sports and floating markets...need to plan to make it as a local attraction for walking cycling and water games.

It seems that the lake is going to be maintained in the smart City schemes, but still the work has not been started. They should plant plenty of trees around. Sometimes it looks like a birds sanctuary where variety of birds flock this lake which is a gift given by God. Government itself has occupied an area of this lake and built a high school in kuniamuthur. When they finish the smart City scheme and start maintaining this lake it should be a not to miss a place in Coimbatore.

Beautiful & one of the largest lakes in Coimbatore. Been watching it since childhood. More the water, more the beauty. One can enjoy Sunset here, and occasional birds from around the world flock here. Need lots of Tree plantations around the lake and it would make it awesome. Breeze is good in the evening. But it doesn’t have any boundary / gates around the lake and makes it risky with young children around . Some pics taken today
