After getting married at the Bingham last year, we could think of no other place than returning to celebrate our 1st Anniversary. We were looked after so well and lovely to see some of the faces from our wedding last year. Amazing food as you can see from the pics. The marmite bread with seaweed butter a particular treat! I had scallops for a starter and a lovely tender piece of lamb for a main. To top it all off I had walnut cake with poached pear and ice cream. Couldn’t fault anything. The Bingham is a very special place for us.

Very nice decor and the staff really try. The main issue is price. When I got the bill I was stunned considering the portion sizes were tiny. One of the appetisers had a £7 surplus and it was one scallop! I’m not sure why there was a surplus. The location is great and all is nice but it is well overpriced. For the money there are far better venues with more delightful experiences. We were let down quite considerably.

The Bingham is an exquisite boutique hotel with all the amenities you could possibly desire. The restaurant was amazing with its 5 course tasting menu. The view of the river was fabulous. The proximity to town and the walking paths in the many parks and along the river was perfect. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. The owner was incredibly gracious and greeted us personally, ensuring that we had an enjoyable stay. The Bingham experience is five star.

We booked the 'Foodie weekend away' which includes dinner at the Steven Edwards Restaurant, breakfast the next day and access to some Bhuti classes. We were quite saddened as it was a special day for us, we had just got married, and despite letting the hotel know and requesting some thought and consideration about where we were seated at dinner etc, we were seated right next to the kitchen at a busy table. Booking the dinner and classes was quite clunky. Our class we booked, also involved phone calls and emails and was eventually cancelled. The dinner at the restaurant was delicious, hotel room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable. Overall, I would recommend for a night away but not special occasions as there is not much thought or care and the organisation is not great.

This was our third stay at the Bingham and we just love it so relaxing, love everything about it from the lady’s who come at six and close the curtains and ask if there’s anything you need to the reception boys who are wonderful and helpful and welcome you when you arrive, the room is so comfortable brilliant comfy bed . Then we come to the restaurant which has amazing food good menu , wonderful service from the two guys who serve and explain everything in detail and advise. Can’t think of anywhere we have been that looks after you so well , can’t wait to come back.’

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Bingham Riverhouse. Its location is a close walking distance to the upmarket shops of Richmond and is positioned on the River Thames where you can enjoy a lovely walk, watching the boats go by. Its décor is really tasteful and the foodie 5 course dinner was outstanding. We were made very welcome on our arrival, All the staff were really friendly and informative. We look forward to returning.

The hotel is cool, right on the river, has a lovely garden for summer. However, If you happen to book when there’s a wedding party, you can expect a lot of noise. There are only a douzen rooms and they’re usually all booked if a wedding takes place - they didn’t bother to tell us and so we endured extremely loud music until late into the night. It was 1am before we slept. The hotel did reimburse our first night, which appreciated. However, our room was 1st floor and even during the day you can hear music coming through from the speakers in the ceiling below. It’s an old building and more could have been done to insulate from the noise. If you’re noise sensitive, book the upper floor, not the first.we will probably go back as it is the only nice hotel in Richmond, but I’ll be checking there are no parties scheduled!

What a wonderful place! A real home away from home, from the first hello to the last goodbye it feels more like visiting friends than staying in a hotel. The location, right on Richmond riverside, is stunning and perfectly situated for the Richmond shops and restaurants as well as more leisurely walks along the Thames. The interiors are beautifully designed and maintained with the added benefit of beautiful gardens leading down to the Thames towpath. The service and food were excellent with a great choice from more casual dining in the drawing room to the exceptional tasting menu in the Stephen Edwards restaurant. Not to be missed!

We visited the restaurant and were treated to a fantastic evening. A 5 course meal along side 3 tasters the chef was trialing made for a wonderful evening of food. The service was impeccable and all the staff were very friendly and professional the entire night. The views along the Thames and the gorgeous styling if the dining room made it, over all, a great way to spend an evening.

Outstanding! From the warm welcome at the door to chatting with the chef as he brought out dessert the whole evening was indeed outstanding! The 5 course tasting menu was exceptional and fantastic value for money. The service was attentive without smothering and the atmosphere light and relaxed. A fantastic experience and we will be back! Thank you all!

We had our wedding here in September. It really exceeded our expectations - Amy and Ricardo who were our contacts went above and beyond for us. We are so grateful for the most wonderful experience from beginning to end, I cant recommend it enough. The food was excellent, the setting perfect, the service impeccable and every one of our guests had a truly wonderful time. thanks to everyone at the Riverhouse for giving us the time of our lives - we can't wait to find a reason to go back.

Fantastic hotel for a weekend in London, Richmond is one of the nicest places in London and the hotel is only a few minutes walk along the towpath to nice bars and restaurants. Decor is unique and so nice to get away from a chain hotel. Service is excellent, staff are so friendly. Room really comfortable and has everything you need. We didn’t eat at night but the breakfasts were excellent. The only complaint is it is slightly over-priced but had a fantastic weekend nonetheless.

We booked at Bingham Riverhouse initially because of its location. We were not prepared for quite how lovely it is though! The old house is beautifully maintained and each room has an individual feel. The baths are definitely a feature! The staff treated us like returning family, welcoming us back after each day out. It was like staying at home except everyone is always in a good mood and super helpful ;) The food is wickedly good. Well worth booking in advance for the dinner especially. Thank you for the generous hospitality!

I recently stayed at this hotel and have a mix of thoughts to share. The location is undoubtedly its saving grace, offering convenience that may suit those whose primary concern is proximity to particular destinations. However, I must honestly highlight some significant shortcomings that affected my stay. The bathroom was exceptionally small, to the point where turning around was a struggle. This was further compounded by the absence of hand soap or even a soap bar, leaving me puzzled as to how I was expected to wash my hands. Showering was also an ordeal as the shower flooded, causing unnecessary hassle. Other details that contributed to my discomfort include the AC unit positioned directly over the bed, a wooden platform under the bed that requires cautious stepping, and a hair dryer with a cord so short that I had to crouch while using it - and I’m only six feet tall. These may seem like minor issues, but they accumulated into a highly inconvenient experience. Unfortunately, the staff’s attitude was less than accommodating, adding to my dissatisfaction. While the location may entice some, I can’t wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, given the plethora of annoyances I faced. It may serve as a last resort for those focused solely on location, but I’m confident there are better options out there.

Had our wedding party here and could not have imagined a more dreamy place in London. The right size with a glowing and warm wintry atmosphere. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive, and more than willing to resolve things along the way. The compliments on the food & drinks did not stop from our guests on the night! Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here, a really fab boutique hotel on the river, very pretty, quiet at night, the staff were all great, nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent! A lovely part of the world and we look forward to a return trip in the summer! Thank you 😊

I came here with my fiancee to have a dining experience and see if it would be a good place for our wedding next year. And we were glad we came and we have opted Bingham for our wedding. The food is immaculate, delicious, and high quality. The service is top of the roof, very considerate, and friendly staff. This's our first time to Bingham and we loved our dining experience there and looking forward to have our wedding here!

We enjoyed a 3-night minimoon stay and ate at their members restaurant every day. The room is clean and comfortable, the staff is accommodating, the riverside walks are awesome and right outside the hotel garden, and there are plenty of places to sit outside and in to enjoy the weather, read a book, do some work, or chat with others.

We got married at the Orleans house gallery and had our reception here. Lindsay was our wonderful point of contact. She is just an incredible coordinator so kind and considerate. Her and Bingham were so accommodating to each and every one of our requests. They put in such an effort to decorate the dining room, the food was beautiful, everything ran smoothly. Cannot express enough how at ease we felt throughout the whole night. Thank you Lindsay and team!

Everything was perfect. The staff could not do enough to help. My husband had a knee replacement operation 2 weeks before our visit. The staff went above and beyond to help our stay be as perfect as possible. Beautiful location overlooking the Thames. Our suite was spacious, clean and gorgeous.

So glad we stayed at the Bingham. The location is great, right on the Thames. Ricardo and the staff are very friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble! The food is excellent with a tight, but excellent, selection of wines that can be matched with your food if desired. Our room was well appointed an very comfortable. Highly recommended.

On the main road so not too easy to find. Once you have its a lovely quirky place. Staff very helpful, on the river side so in the summer it must be great to sit out and enjoy the ambiance. Michael

My friends and I went for a pre-Christmas celebration dinner. After reading the reviews we thought it would be the perfect price to splurge and have a fancy dinner. At £160 per person for our meal, I can say it was nothing better than average. The five course menu looked interesting, however, the execution was not great. The best part of our dinner was our wine selection.

OUTSTANDING service and food, beautiful environment. Absolute very best experience we could have hoped for for our Friday company Christmas lunch. Thank you to all who looked after us so well at Bingham Riverhouse.

I adore this hotel. Everything is just perfectly thought out and invokes relaxation as soon as you walk in. The food is fantastic, bar selection exceptional, staff always professional and friendly and the room viewing the river are beautiful. I cannot get enough of the bathtub soaks with that gorgeous view to jump in a robe and relax with my partner. This past Tuesday was our 4th stay and we will be returning sooner rather than later. Thank you Bingham Riverhouse! 10/10 🏆

The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The room (boudelaire) was amazing with a lovely copper bathtub and amazing views of the Thames. The bed was very very comfortable. Breakfast was great, we asked if we could have breakfast in bed and were very kindly obliged. Overall a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this hotel!

Celebrated friend's wedding here. Excellent place. Food was amazing, service was great and the property itself is beautiful with its terrace and garden.

Lovely hotel, attended a wedding but had two nights, staff were great, formerly an old house, so lots of stairs and no lift, but stairs are in short blocks to catch your breath, so if you have mobility issues, request lower ground. I'd say its luxury boutique, relatively expensive but not bank breaking. Garden and terraces at the rear with river views, you can't hear road noise in the gardens. Food lovely. 10 minute walk into Richmond, along road or river bank. Some rooms get an intermittent feel of a quake tremor, I think its the underground, the tube. Only issue is parking, being an old residence, the parking is across the road a few metres away and minimal spaces, but I'm sure staff will assist if you asked, and tip! as its not an actual included service. Photo - view from room 'William'.

Stayed there one night - absolutely loved the hotel! The room was clean, breakfast was wonderful and the location superb. The best thing was the accommodating & friendly staff. They made us feel relaxed and welcomed. Hope I can come back again.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Richmond alongside the Thames. Helpful staff and great service with large rooms and very comfortable beds. Even the road facing room was still quiet. The room and 5 course meal deal is well worth taking! The hotel parking is in the parking area across the road from the hotel where you will find your own personal parking spot with your name and registration reserved with your booking.

Lovely hotel close to the Thames River but so limited parking for the number of rooms. Great staff with night porter. Great variety of food and drinks at reasonable prices for London. Children's play bubbles with games to take the stress out of parents
