AVOID
THIS
SURGERY.
I
am
an
NHS
nurse
and
was
very
concerned
regarding
my
dads
health.
My
concerns
were
not
taken
seriously
at
all,
I
had
to
visit
the
surgery/pharmacy
3
times
in
one
afternoon
just
to
get
the
antibiotics
my
dad
desperately
needed
(last
time
they
ignored
his
request
he
ended
up
in
hospital
with
sepsis).
Katie
the
receptionist
with
the
dark
hair
(seems
to
be
mentioned
a
lot
in
these
reviews)
should
not
be
allowed
to
work
in
a
patient
facing
role.
She
could
clearly
see
I
was
upset
and
deeply
worried
about
my
dad,
and
instead
of
showing
the
empathy
and
compassion
that
we
are
taught
to
provide
in
the
NHS
I
was
faced
with
a
raised
voice
and
rude
tone.
Not
only
this,
instead
of
coming
back
out
to
the
front
of
the
surgery
where
I
was
waiting
to
ask
me
herself,
she
asked
a
member
of
the
public
what
my
dads
name
was!!
Where
is
the
patient
confidentiality?!
The
other
receptionist
on
this
day
(18/8)
was
the
complete
opposite,
asked
if
I
was
okay
and
offered
me
a
tissue
when
I
was
crying
due
to
the
distress
katie
caused,
I
can’t
thank
her
enough.
As
for
Katie,
management
need
to
seriously
rethink
her
position
or
give
her
training
she
so
desperately
needs.
My
dad
will
not
be
returning
to
the
surgery
due
this
disgusting
treatment,
and
if
anything
happens
to
him
due
to
the
surgery
not
taking
my
concerns
seriously
I
will
ensure
they
are
held
responsible.
