A wonderful venue! Staff are very helpful, the whole place is clean, friendly and somewhere lovely to visit even if you're not seeing a show. We travel over 100 miles to go there and have never yet been disappointed.

Great night out, watching the 80s music performance. Calling Planet Earth were Fantastic. Parking was free after 6pm, so that was a great start. We were lucky to be able to have a dinner in the restaurant before the performance, even though we haven't prebooked. Very limited meal menu but was lovely food. Seats were easy to find. The show was very enjoyable. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Fantastic all round.

Great local theatre with some top notch shows and big name acts. There are no ‘bad’ seats wherever you sit in the auditorium. Amazing location for pre show drinks with unrestricted views out to sea from the bar. There is also a restaurant for in-house dining and a good selection of other restaurants nearby. Pay & Display Parking; under the theatre, close by and on the seafront.

A lovely venue, tremendous auditorium for its size. Needs a better equipped bar facility in the main lobby, or should direct more people through to the next bar area. However, for a first visit I though this was a venue I'd like to see live music at again.

Always frustrated by the long queues for the ladies toilets and the lacking facilities to cater for the numbers. Also it was very crowded at the main bar which was a little disconcerting, especially as many were not wearing masks. In warmer months, people would've moved outside with their drinks rather than clogging up the limited space available. It's a shame that other areas of the venue aren't utilised in some way to help relieve this issue rather than having rooms sitting empty below. Seating in the auditorium is quite packed in, making you feel you're practically sitting on the lap of the stranger next to you. BUT Alan Carr was on form so the show itself was brilliant and we still had a great night out as always at the Cliffs.

Been seeing shows at cliffs pavillion for years. The quality of shows is top notch. The seats are not very comfortable but its an old theatre so not much they can do. The refreshments are varied and reasonably priced for where you are.

We went to see James Martin for the 2nd year. It was good but some material was the same as last year. The Cliffs is a lovely place, lots of good entertainment on our doorstep. As most venues are very pricey but staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great night parked right next door,, entry queues were dealt with quickly, not too much of a queue at the bar either. Great sound in the venue. The only downside was rather an unpleasant aroma in the toilet area.

Recently had Christmas meal here for work, I cannot fault the staff but the food wasn't brilliant, the whole Christmas Dinner looked like it needed a blood transfusion! It was just beige, the dessert was even less appealing, I like a Christmas song but while your waiting these are literally played on a loop and after a while I had enough! A bit of 70s 80s dance music with a Christmas song thrown in every now and then would of been better, the music act was fair but by then the alcohol was flowing to be honest, once that had finished, I thought great! We can have a bit of a dance but no! the DJ went straight in with a Christmas song, which we had just spent most of the night listening to, a bit of disco, soul etc... would have been great with Christmas songs thrown in every now and then, price of ticket £60

As a 6'3" concert goer this place was great. Loads of legroom when seated and room to throw some epic middle aged shapes when not. We were there for Beverley Knight, who was excellent and everything was good. Getting in was easy, toilets weren't rammed and while we didn't use it, the bar looked decent. Free parking after six at the bottom.of the steps on the seafront too. Winner.

Watched one of my favourite Christmas themed films - Love Actually accompanied by an absolutely amazing live orchestra. Haven't been to this theatre in many years as I no longer live locally but it's hasn't changed - organised staff, helpful too. Lovely theatre only downside is the walk from the seafront up the cliff to the theatre and the drinks are a bit pricey! Other than that a great night out 😁

Went there Saturday 23 December 2023, to see, Peter Pan, with Joe Pasquale and Robert Rinder (Judge Rinder), with some of the family. We parked along the seafront, to take a nice walk to the Cliffs and have some sea air. The show was fantastic and the theatre and the staff was as welcoming as ever. This place never disappoints. Fun for all the family... go and enjoy!! 🤗💖🎅🎄🌟🎁🎭🍿🏳️‍🌈🤓

The Cliffs Pavilion Theatre. I have been coming here for over 20years. It's a lovely venue and location. Great view , cafe, food and drink for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly staff and clean facilities. If your watching a production they have some good shows here. One thing they really need to do and haven't done for over 20yrs is improve their seating. The seats are all very much on a level and need to be staggered better. The result of this even if you book a box is that you can struggle to see over the person in front of you. If they improved their seating this would be a 5 star theatre. Until then it will never make 5 stars. Access is easy for everyone including lifts. Parking is paid for outside , there is a car park and disabled parking at the front. You will need to pay. Local roads are residential parking only. Your better getting there early or parking on the seafront and walking up. I would recommend

Went for a group meal in the Maritime rooms today. I have dietary needs that were catered for so well by the chef. The waiting staff were very attentive and helpful, with one waitress going out of her way to get me a herbal tea instead of the tea/coffee that was included in the set price. A wonderful experience, with lovely food. Highly recommended.

A great experience. As with any theatre, there were large queues for the facilities furing the intermission. View from the Balcony is good (K5/K6). Although only 5'3" seemed to be plenty of leg room, seating comfortable. Parking is difficult unless you're prepared to walk up the cliff and can be a bit steep and dark in places so beware if this might be an issue. Will certainly return.

Fanny’s bingo night was so fun. We had a large group of us which we were all able to sit together. The cocktails jugs were reasonably priced but food was a little expensive for the size of the portions. But over all a fun night.

Well done Cliffs Pavillion Maritime Room staff helping to host Bring the House Down event which was really enjoyable. One member of staff in particular did her best keeping the dance floor free of spilt drink. She deserved a medal that night, mop in one hand, slippery sign in the other. Great venue, great staff.

Wonderful theatre had a perfect time. Friendly staff , food good in the threatre. The packing is good. Went to see the show take that the musical was fantastic. The sound is really good. Air conditioning is in the threatre not in the entrance . Had a really enjoyable time . Will be going back there again twice more this year. The seats in the threatre need to be made more comfortable. But I have no other complaints. The shop to buy gifts is not a bad the price was ok.

A fantastic night at Shalama... its a shame the venue is more interested in keeping the bar open through the whole show with people continuing throughput to get up coming back with drinks...was more like a hen party at times with between 4 and 6 standing in a row to dance to music...am sure if they took the seating out on ground floor this would help for them to get more into the venue for venue at the bar and tickets...health and safety at its best

We came here to watch Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat on tour, and it was amazing! All of the actors are incredibly enthusiastic, and we saw the understudy as Joseph - you wouldn’t have believe me if I told you he wasn’t the main actor! He was brilliant, and all of the other actors were brilliant too - they all add their on pieces to the show! 10/10, would 100% recommend.

I love coming to The Cliff's Pavilion always a great experience. Small enough to not be overwhelming but large enough for a full house of fans! Great bar and facilities, warm and welcoming. Easy to get to from rail and parking available. Good website for easy booking and plenty of hotels nearby to accommodate you if going to a late performance. Thank you Cliff's recently enjoyed The Osmonds the new musical, brilliant 👏.

I had a great evening here watching the first UK tour date of the Australian Pink Floyd last night. (24/10/22) The concert was fantastic and the atmosphere tremendous, I'd recommend the group to anyone! The Cliffs Pavilion hosted the show well, with fast and easy access to the auditorium, great views and fairly comfortable seats. There is a lift for those who need it. Parking is easy with venue having its own carpark but with others in easy reach. Disabled visitors have dedicated parking spaces. The Cliffs Pavilion has a restaurant, bars and the usual facilities you'd expect.

What an experience!!! My friends and I enjoyed a really fantastic meal together, the views were amazing and added to a relaxing atmosphere; with friendly staff the experience was complete. To top it off, we then watched RuPaul's Drag Queen Race - which lol I really enjoyed, the music and venue was electrifying and everyone enjoyed themselves. Will definitely go back for another round of shows ☺️
