Hubby and I love South Point Casino so we want to try one of their restaurants. We made a reservation here on my birthday. The ambiance was decent and staff were courteous. However, food was subpar. Their complimentary breads were cold and stale. We tried their tomahawk rib steak and it was bland save by their peppercorn sauce. But we had better. We also tried their salmon but the flavor is also lacking. I had to put more salt and pepper. For the price, I would have just gone to either Morton’s or Flemings. Nevertheless, we tried to give this place a shot.

We had a great time! Service was good, food was great. An all around great restaurant. We ordered bottles of wine, appetizers, entres. Not once did I have to fill my own glass of wine, or have to ask for anything, it was simply there. Simple menus, make great restaurants, make great experiences! I looked for something to complain about but couldn't find anything. Here's some pictures of the food I ordered to review.

The Silverado Steakhouse has to be the best deal in town for a real Steakhouse. Silverado has a traditional steakhouse atmosphere, and feels rich inside. Part of the reason this Steak house is a bargain compared to others is all Steak dinners come with a salad and choice of potatoe. Our server Matthew was spectacular, and made my birthday feel special. Matthew was able to answer some questions we had, and relieved our concerns of a shellfish allergy. I decided to go with a New York steak with cheese & onion mashed potatoe. My wife went with the Skirt Steak Argentina that was topped with a chimichuri sauce. Both meals were amazing. For Desert we tried the Oreo Cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. Definitely a place to take some friends and family for any occasion or celebration.

What an absolute HIDDEN GEM! Located inside locals favorite Southpoint. We went for the Christmas Eve dinner with family. My boyfriend got a 4 course meal, specially created for the holiday. Incredible. I had 3 separate filet mingon with different sauces. Atmosphere is high society/ opulence of old Vegas. Will absolutely be eating here again, ASAP. Service is impeccable, and the steaks melted in my mouth!

My wife and I will definitely be visiting the Silverado Steak House again next time we're in Las Vegas. I can easily say this was one of the best restaurant experiences we've ever had. The food was delicious—they served me the best steak I've ever eaten. The same can be said for the cheesecake I had for dessert. My wife said her food was really good, too. In addition to the exceptional food, my wife and I were incredibly impressed with the service. My wife has food allergies, which can make eating at a restaurant like this more challenging. Our servers were very knowledgeable about what needed to be done to ensure all food was safe. They went above and beyond our expectations. My wife has never felt so comfortable eating at a new restaurant, and you can tell everyone at Silverado Steak House has received special training. Thank you so much, Silverado Steak House staff. You made our dinner one of the highlights of our trip.

We’ve eaten at expensive, meat focused, fine dining restaurants in Kansas and Nevada…so we wanted to be “dazzled”….sadly, Silverado Steak House steaks and sides didn’t dazzle us. The service was EXCELLENT though. Our Server, Vanessa and her assistant, Corey were phenomenal. The food was good…just not jaw dropping like the steaks at Bazaar Meat or 6S (in Wichita, KS).

Went here for our 25th wedding anniversary dinner celebration. Waiter Paul brought us 2 full glasses of champagne to start off our dinner. Paul and Rey were wonderful in taking care of our drink, entree and dessert order. They had a fabulous golden and red beet salad, that I ordered instead of the dinner salad. Very delicious!! We also enjoyed a chicken, & vegetables dinner along with steak and coconut shrimp. For dessert, beignets and a delightful lemon cake. Took home a few boxes from our generous sized entrees, desserts and bread selections. Enjoyed it for a few more meals the next day. Plenty of parking at this Southpoint hotel and casino, where this restaurant is located.

Was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant inside the south point casino. The portions are enormous. If you leave here hungry, you are the problem. The filet is melt in your mouth amazing and the scallops were plump, sweet, and juicy. Excellent wine and cocktail menus for just the right experience. Upscale atmosphere is sure to impress and fits the theme of the resort perfectly. Matthew was the best server! He is super attentive and knows his job very well. I love that there is a tableside expeditor to help with drinks, bread, and food service. This was the perfect nightcap to my vacation. Cant wait til next time!

If you're staying at South Point hotel and casino, definitely try this steakhouse. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. My steak was spot on, the loaded baked potato and garden salad were delicious. I enjoyed the atmosphere, as it's very nice but comfortable. If you're staying at South Point, make sure to use the voucher for a free bottle of wine from the coupon booklet they provide to you. The wine wasn't my absolute favorite, but hey, it's free.

Great steak. I highly recommend the tomahawk (aged) ribeye steak, rib eye and some cocktails. First time to be here. Scallops with spinach is a must. And the desert -beignet is so good.

Silverado Steak House was phenomenal! All of the food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The staff was attentive but not over bearing. We will be back.

Excellent service, Jose was our waiter we ate there twice as past week. And he was awesome never had to ask for anyting he was always right there on the spot. The food was excellent. I would definitely give the Silverado steakhouse five stars and definitely give South point casino five stars for being the best casino I've been in since the old Vegas days. I have never met so many friendly courteous people. They treat you like family. So I suggest if you want to see how amazing Las Vegas used to treat you go to South point casino. I am from out-of-state and when I get back home I'm going to talk to all my friends that go to Las Vegas tell them this is the place they want to stay if they wanted to be treated like a person not how many points you have on your card. I can't say enough about all the good things that they did for me. Awesome awesome awesome.

Great place - was meeting some "new" relatives there (just got married). There was no way I could finish my plate - the pork chops were a mile deep! Wonderful sizes and everyone was happy! Meets my expectations for good food in Vegas!

We have been coming here for years now it’s always a great place to come and eat! It’s a nicer restaurant and priced above average but you’re going to get above average food and service so it’s well worth it! I almost always get a Filet and it’s one of thee best steaks I’ve had in the country! And I love a good steak! My wife loves the salads and asparagus! We HIGHLY recommend eating here!

Always a great meal at Silverado Steakhouse. I really like the House dressing on the salad that is prepared tableside when you order the filet!

Ordered the blackened dry aged ribeye with a bbq and plum sauce, along with mashed potatoes. House salad prepared table side with a Champaign dressing. Overall very good for the price, would come here again, multiple people waited on us which provided excellent service

I was disappointed....i ordered the blackened ribeye.....it was too small and thin cut to be blackened.....and was way over cooked....cmon guys you can do better than that...you need a 20-25 oz.slab of ribeye to blacken properly...service was exellent though great job there....for the money....i'll never eat here!!!

My wife and I love this place for our anniversary dinners. The steaks are delicious, and the lobster bisque is the best thing to ever touch your lips.

Horrible food. Halibut tasted foul. Rib eye too gristly. Service poor. If you want a good dinner at South Point go to Primarily Prime. It was excellent.

Great food, and great service! Tiso was our server and he made sure we had everything we wanted and needed, there was an incident with a hair in our food but over all this place is very good!

I ordered the bone-in rib eye, medium, with loaded baked potato and asparagus. There are obviously better ribe eyes out there, but for the price point, it is totally worth it. The meat was remarkably flavorful and tender. This steak was obviously cared for and treated properly in the kitchen. The Kitchen does its job well; it delivers delicious food on time. The service is exceptional - I saw each server quietly watching each table for course needs, water, drinks, etc., It is truly exceptional service, but not overwhelming at all. The atmosphere here is very "old-school" steakhouse, which I adore. Warm lights, small menu, quality food and service. Oh, and the creme brulee?? Shut up its soooooooo goooooood - one of the best I've ever eaten.

Though I had some exceptional food during my trip to Vegas, unfortunately this restaurant was not one of them. Most of the dishes we ordered were quite bland, with the exception of the lobster bisque which was overly salty. On the bright side, the service was excellent and our visit was a convenient break from the casino tables outside.

My mom and I both got the filet special. Her steak was perfectly cooked, mine was a little overdone, but it was acceptable. The service was amazing here and the staff were all very attentive to every detail. The mashed potatoes were a little dry. The creme brulee was very good. The salad tossed tableside is a great touch as well.

We have been coming to the South Point Casino for more years than I would happily like to admit to. The Silverado Steak House has been consistent in superior good quality in a come as you like, fine dining atmosphere. On this particular night we came in later in the evening on a slow night. Unfortunately for us, that meant they were letting Staff off early. Our waitress left after taking our order and never came back. I spent the next 30 minutes grabbing whoever would look at me for the remainder of our time there. All in all, it was fine. Just wasn't what I was hoping for to entertain my brother who was visiting from another state. Somewhat disappointed. Yes. I will return;-)

You have never had an amazing lobster bisque until you have it here. Food was delicious!! Excellent service! My go to steakhouse from now on

This place is fantastic. Every meal I've ever had here has been wonderful, from the service to the drinks to the food. Their house salad dressing (a champagne vinaigrette) is really great. And of course, every cut of meat I've had has been to die for!

Gian provided outstanding service and made our anniversary special. The food was incredible and cooked to perfection.

One of the best steak houses in Vegas. Food is excellent, service is great. The prices are very reasonable for a steak house of this quality. While the restaurant is right off the casino floor it is enclosed so it is quiet and smoke free. Parking is free. I try to eat there every time I stay at the South Point

This is one of my FAVORITE places to eat a steak at. The food is delicious, the bread is wonderful and I can't tell you how great the Tomahawk Steak is. So wonderfully done for my taste. I recommend this place to have a good dinner for a date, anniversary, birthday celebration or just to enjoy good food with nice umbuicances. Please say Hello to Edurne the nicest host in the city who keeps her good servers on point. Thank you for ALWAYS taking care of me.

The filet mignon was excellent!

If you're looking for an exceptional meal, this is NOT the place to go. My son ordered the bone in ribeye med rare and it was ok. He wouldn't rate it as good just ok. I ordered the braised short ribs and it tasted like it came from a Korean BBQ buffet. I did like the wedge salad but thats not hard to make. I would give the atmosphere a B- and the service C-.

What an excellent Steakhouse, delicious food, reasonable prices and friendly and fast service.

Not sure how this place has any good reviews: first and most importantly the food was not good. The vegetables were undercooked, nothing was seasoned. I’ve been to many restaurants around the world and this is probably one one the most disappointing. I think I’ve come to the conclusion that this casino and restaurant are catered to the 40+ crowd. I suppose anything is an upgrade when you’re used to eating nursing home food.

Very nice place and the restaurant itself had great food. It was very clean and the staff were very nice and respectful. Would definitely eat here again. The cashier was very nice as well and was super respectful to all customers.

Really good table service. I had the 16oz dry aged ribeye. It was really good. The only disappointing things were there was a kind of large vein of thick fat running through the steak. A bit odd for a prime cut. Also one end of the steak was a bit burnt. For a steakhouse of this caliber it should have been better. Aside from that the steak was really good. I'll probably give them another shot to see if that was a one-off. Comes with a salad and a baked potato (some other options were available).

The steak and salmon are the best ! The chicken is good too ! I will come back here again to celebrate my husbands birthday this April ! Pls try this place ! It’s good !

Great value for excellent service and taste !

Took my friend here for a special birthday dinner. The food was bland and service left me unimpressed. I ordered Filet Mignon and Lobster tail which came with salad and baked potato OR asparagus. The only thing cooked properly was the asparagus. The Lobster was rubbery and overcooked. The Filet, ordered rare was cold and had no taste. I also had the Lobster Bisque soup which tasted extremely creamy but it's pretty sad when I can compare it to Walmart's Mainstay deli brand and actually think Walmart was better! This soup had hardly any lobster or seafood in it. My friend ended up ordering the Ratatouille and remarked the best part of the meal was the blue cheese salad. We didn't bother to order any desert but regretted our decision to try this steakhouse. The pricey tab was not worth the value or service we received. I will be sure to go someplace else on our next visit. There are tons of places to eat on and off the strip which wouldn't cost me $160 for two people.

Surprisingly, delicious! Our meal was fresh, hot and flavorful. Eat here!
