I found this place randomly while running errands and stopped in to see and I'm glad I did. Their menu is absolutely wild. So many different sandwiches and options and I assume it all must be great because this place was absolutely hopping. I had a pastrami & swiss on rye and that thing filled me up for hours, in addition to being delicious.

The food was great. The wait was a little longer than I had anticipated. I called in my order, arrived 15 min later, paid for it, and waited another 10-15 inside because it wasn't ready. Went back to the counter to find out one of the bags in the order area was mine, but no one said it was finally ready. Food is always good, prices are a little expensive now, and the customer service is lacking at this location.

Listen, salads should be made daily and Lettuce should be fresh! You all made My mother and SUN sick today. For whatever reason, she thought she called Providence Coney for a salad, but when she got there, they had no order for her. When she checked her phone, she realized she called Lous. She come there and pick up the salads. A few bites into the salad, she says something is wrong with it and tosses it. My SUN continued to eat his. Shortly after he ate the salad, he had to go the bathroom. Later in the day, my mom is in the bathroom. 😡😡😡 Nobody else should have to experience that. Make sure the salads are fresh or take them off the menu!! Thank You!

Amazing corned beef I have ever tasted omggg I fantasize about it when I’m hungry lol it was served fresh hot and cooked all the way through, friendly service. However the lemonade taste like it will give you diabetes but it was good overall!!! Best experience ever!!

Just tried the Corned Beef Egg Rolls they were pretty good, but over priced. For 2, the price was $10.07

Yum, yum, yummy!!! Lou's Deli is the best. I go to the Southfield location. They have delicious corn beef sandwiches. I normally get Counterman's Treat or Reuben Sandwich, and if I have a carving for pastrami sandwiches, I get the Junes Mouth Full. I also get and enjoy their frenchfries as well. But not included, no combo's order separately from sandwiches. Trust me, the food here is so good, they never disappoint. The customer service is good 👍

The food is really good, the staff is polite and helpful. Two items that caused the 3 stars.... Oct 1st I paid a visit and there were alot of flies in the restaurant. The prices went up which is understandable but an additional $4 is being tacked on the prices of the larger sandwiches.

Had my first Lou's corned beef sandwich in '74. In '80 I moved to Texas. Eaten all over the U.S. and on a scale of 1 to 10 Lou's is a 10 & the 2nd best corned beef I've ever would only be a 5 or 6.

Lou's Deli was in our neighborhood growing up and they are STILL my FAVORITE corned beef joint ANYWHERE in the world because they have lean, tender, juicy corned beef, perfectly crisp on the outside - fluffy on the inside - steak fries and excellent, old world rye bread! Please don't sleep on the TIPS for the workers- theres a big box on the counter but NO option to add a tip on your bill! Everyone working there has a smile, kind word and pleasant attitude! Truly a joy because the food is filled with LOVE!

I ordered corned beef on Onion roll with Swiss cheese, Russian dressing & coleslaw. Totally delicious! Yes there is a wait but if I call my order in while I'm in route it's usually ready when I get there. Corned beef is just what it is corned beef no fillers perfect 😊

Service was pretty quick and order takers were polite and accommodating. Of course the corned beef sandwiches are absolutely delicious as always at the Southfield location. The other locations are too inconsistent for my taste.

My Dad and sister-in-law were visiting from Florida and Houston! We had Corned Beef sandwiches with coleslaw and Russian dressing on an onion rolls! 1 person had a ham sub and another with Corned Beef and Sauerkraut! The sandwiches were delicious! The staff was fun too! We tried to order online, but when I called to find out what time to pick it up, they had not received the order. So, my Dad called in and I picked it up! I mentioned what happened and they remembered talking to me on the phone!!! We are laughing about how glad we were to have it all work out!!!

A must visit when in Southfield/Detroit. The Southfield location near 9mile Rd is better than the rest and I know because I've visited them as well. From the delicious corned beef sdwhs to the awesome very knowledgeable crew and they're great service. Can't forget the lemonade. Even made a stop on the way back to Alabama to take some home.

Man oh Man❣️ A must & I'm glad I was able to get my Corn Beef sandwich before returning back to Texas. I basically Fasted for that moment for my visit. And definitely was not disappointed. 😁

Consistently delicious for years. The one on 6 mile is great as well. Corned beef is very tender but not fatty, huge sandwiches... Best in Michigan.

Great food and open at odd hours. This place has delicious sandwiches. I have tried the veggie sandwich and was impressed. The homemade cream of broccoli is super rich. It could dabble in dip territory but definitely tasty. Friendly service and the overall place could use a bit of a makeover but what it might lack in fancy decor it makes up in great food and service!

Had 2 cornbeef egg rolls one had a half of a tooth pic in it. I’m so glad I was eating slow that could have went bad. Like how? Lou’s delis quality is poor. The workers just don’t care.

Lou’s is the best corned beef place in Michigan. The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly. I love their food! I love their hours.

I always order a mine Demii Moore 6-mile style. The cashier's always say they don't make it they've been making it for years I cannot get a mini like that they don't just put the order in or ask to Cooks and that's not true you need that educate your

Great sandwiches and fries. The deviled eggs are outstanding. Can't wait to go back. Next time I'm getting dessert.

Food is good. Staff is rude and the inside needs to be cleaned. The floors were filthy and their we’re homeless people in the restaurant sleep in booths and in the door

Horrible customer service. Was calling for an hour and drove to the restaurant and they said they were closed at 12 midnight. But online the hours clearly state 1:30am on a starurday night.

I was home for a visit and hadn't had one of Lou's sandwiches in over 10yrs. I just had to have one of Lou's corn beef sandwiches and they didn't disappoint🤗. It was just like I remembered delicious 🤗

Disappointed. Ordered mini turkey on rye combo. The fries were undercooked and the sandwich had waaayyyyy to much mustard on it. I couldn't eat it! I go here often (supporting BlackOwned) but it looks like I may have to stop for awhile...$20 wasted. Not happy.

I ordered their standard rubber with fries and a drink. This sandwich came packed to the brim a softball sized layer of moist and savory corned beef. The ratio of dressing, Is sauerkraut, and corned beef was perfect. The home made French fries were addictive and better than most burger joints! Overall the food was amazing, and would hit the spot of anyone with a large appetite looking for a great mid day meal. I should note that this level of cravings satisfaction does come at a price though; the meal was about a $17 total.

Never experienced such rudeness at an establishment serving food. Placed an online order hoping that if the order was wrong it would be my fault because they have printed out exactly what I wanted. When I called to complain all I hear over the phone is employees cussing and yelling back and forth. This is a business, get some training from chick fil a.

After all these years Lou's is still serving the community excellent corn beef. I can't afford a dinty more combo but every blue moon. But babyyyyy I'm never disappointed.

When you are trying to call in and place your order, the line is always busy and when you finally get a person on the line you are quickly placed on hold. Once you have the chance to place your order and given a 15-20 minute time, it really doesn’t matter because once you get in there it’s another 25 minute wait. While you sit/stand there watching the cooks in the back talking & laughing, arguing with the cashiers, the cashiers handling money, fixing drinks, arguing, not washing hands, yelling, working in their organized chaos. All while inhaling the scent of dirty mop water. It’s definitely like how it use to be. While this is my favorite place to get a corned beef sandwich from because of the flavor they now charge you wayyy more for wayyyy less meat. My favorite sandwich is the Counterman’s Treat. I use to only be able to eat half of the sandwich but now it’s like a coleslaw sandwich with a touch of meat.

Definitely my new favorite place to get corned beef. I definitely recommend stopping here if you're looking for some good corned beef. Good and fast service too.
