The
New
Mill
Restaurant
left
me
with
mixed
feelings
after
multiple
visits.
On
my
first
visit,
during
a
weekday,
I
had
a
pleasurable
experience
with
decent
food
and
a
good
server.
We
enjoyed
the
calamari,
filet,
and
granny
smith
apple
salad.
However,
my
subsequent
visits
on
Friday
and
the
weekend
were
not
as
enjoyable.
The
atmosphere
was
politically
charged
at
full
intoxicated
volume.
The
lack
of
social
graces
and
smugness
made
for
an
uncomfortable
dining
experience,
despite
the
well-to-do
crowd.
There’s
a
reason
that
controversial
topics
of
conversation
are
best
left
out
of
casual
social
settings.
Although
the
food
was
alright,
it
was
not
worth
the
price
tag,
especially
when
the
atmosphere
was
unpleasant.
Dining
in
peace
is
crucial,
especially
when
spending
that
kind
of
money.
Overall,
I
wouldn't
recommend
the
New
Mill
Restaurant
unless
you're
willing
to
tolerate
a
politically
charged
atmosphere
and
a
little
bit
of
contempt
from
certain
wait
staff
and
management.
