I like to Support local business, they always seem to have great stories and friendly staff it’s not corporate. Ubuntu Kraul is no different. We specifically went to the brewery which had tasty food and a beer tasting adventure. Call before you go to see if there are any events. Go with friends!!

I don't do beer but some of their varieties got me drinking and bought some for the hotel.

We went to the pool. Super nice! R50. Bathrooms are very close to the pool. When we went they did not put the chairs and umbrellas out till about 5:00 p.m. because they had an event. I don't know if the chairs are normally out when there is not an event. You can order drinks and food from the restaurant bar. The pool was very empty, maybe two other small groups. Pool could have been cleaner. I look forward to going back when it gets warmer next week.

It's not what it used to be, but you can host descent events there

The place was awesome and best service and great books, just didn't prepare myself to get more. Hope next year still get to see more authors.

The place is beautiful and has beautiful history attached to it, the restaurant has horrible female staff that had an attitude towards my aunt and I. I literally had to as for sauces and toothpicks because the lady serving us didn't provide such when we ordered, she then gave us cooking sauces instead of normal condiments and a guy from another table then came over with a bottle of hot sauce. Personally I didn't have a good experience 😕.

It's a really nice place for a conference, it just not accessible. The ramps aren't great and there is no accessible rest room. I wouldn't recommend it for wheelchair users. But overall the service is great. I would just employ them to get assistance with accessibility ♿️.

It was perfect! Bring your swimsuite, not making that mistake again of watching people have fun in the pool while I look gorgeous in jeans and a long sleeve...

It's a unique and cool place be. We visited the Soweto brewing company, the home of Soweto gold beer.
