This place is great. I’ve used their services multiple times now. I definitely trust them with my vehicle. They do great quality work at a fair price that’s hard to beat. Everyone that works here is really awesome.

Switched out an aftermarket exhaust setup on an IS350 for the OEM exhaust setup. I noticed there was a strange exhaust leak at the top of the OEM mid-pipe after installation. Went to Pro Max, they quickly identified the issue, and Drake & Steve had it resolved in no time! No more exhaust leak at a fair price! Great job, Fellas!

These guys take care of you and are concerned about how much money you are spending. We take 11 trucks here to get serviced/repaired. I’m glad we have a shop like this close and honest about there workmanships. We’ve tried a lot of places, so far Austin’s promax has been a pleasure to work with.

Stopped by to see about getting the exhaust tips adjusted on my Mustang, as they weren’t identically placed. These guys took care of it right away. In and out in 45 mins for the reasonable price of $66.00. I’ve used this Spanaway location for a few issues with different vehicles over the years, and have always had a pleasurable experience. Knowledgeable and attentive staff. Price has always been reasonable for services rendered.

Dropped my car off for diagnostics on April 20th, because the gentleman on phone said to bring it by. When we got there we were told it would not be done that day. We told them it's fine and we're told it would be done the next day. ITS STILL NOT DONE. Every time we call, they say it'll be done the next day, or Saturday or Tuesday. Picking my car up tomorrow and going elsewhere. Wouldn't pay this place to fix my car. Do not recommend at all. Update: picked car up. They never even looked at it. Didn't give a reason why either. Will never go back, and highly recommended people stay away.

I brought my car in because the check engine light came on and the vehicle was surging. They came up with a laundry list of issues with the car and charged me almost $2,600 to fix it. Within 100 miles of getting it back the exact same problem came back and the check engine light was on again. I brought it back in and they said it was going to be another $2,500 to fix what they claimed to have fixed the first time, this time with a new laundry list of things to fix. In addition, I dropped the car off with 3/4 of a tank of gas and got it back with 1/4 tank. These people ripped me off and did not even fix the problem. Do not take your vehicle here.

I would have loved to give it 4 or 5 stars but my experience from a customer service standpoint was not worthy of that rating. All the staff were personable, but they gave me a quote of a specific amount on Tuesday over the phone, gave me an ETA of a specific time to complete on Wednesday morning, and as of Thursday morning still hadn't even looked at it. It was only after I indicated that I needed to just come get the car if it couldn't be done today that they looked at it and gave me a quote that was $300 + more than what I'd been told on Tuesday. At that point I just needed the car done and back as it was costing $50 a day to use the truck to commute. No complaints (so far) on the finished work, and I would probably use their services again, but would definitely ask for clarification on all time lines and cost estimates from the manager (who indicated that the person who quoted me the lower number was "new)...who knows, maybe someday I'll be able to give them the 5 star review that I was hoping to. Busy day or not, communication and customer service should be a priority.

Very impressed! I showed up on a Saturday morning at 8:05am and was out the door by 8:45am!! That kinda service is very rare in any automotive shop anymore.. again very impressed. Steve and his crew were great! Luis did an excellent job, dual muffler replacement on my chevelle, nice welds, level and even.. they definitely lived up to all the other google reviews.

After going to several other shops looking for someone to work on diesel exhaust, I walked into Austin Pro Max. I was met by Steve who was professional and competent in exhausts. Have to go into the details in and out and showing me the process for what he was going to do I felt comfortable and leaving my vehicle with him. I came back a few hours later and the work was done on time and my truck sounds superb! Real throaty, nice tone, and she purrs I'm extremely happy with the work done and definitely will come back with any additional exhaust work as well as recommend them mostly Steve for the work he did. I appreciate the confidence and security of knowing that my vehicle has been done right thank you again Steve and Austin Pro Max!

Steve was very nice and funny, I was expecting a bit of a wait due to cars behind ahead of mines however the wait I was prepared to for wasn’t much at all. Paul, one of the Technicians was also nice and down to earth guy. I’d came in due to someone attempting to steal parts and cutting my exhaust, They had my truck back to its normal power/ sound at a reasonable price. I’d definitely come back.

The repairs they did on my truck fixed the problem and they were quick. I’d given them 5 stars if it was for the price vs quote. They called and quoted me just over $1300.00 which included spark plugs. I told them I had just had spark plugs changed two weeks prior. He said he would take the spark plugs and labor off. When I picked up the truck it cost me almost $1500.00.

I brought my 87 Blazer to these guys because I heard good things about these guys with classic and old vehicles. They did not disappoint. Professional, timely with high quality workmanship. If you have an old car/truck, more over, an old squarebody this may be the place for you.

Came in yesterday to get some exhaust tips for my Toyota Camry to replace my old ones and the guys working there were super chill and got it done in like an hour. Probably my third time coming here too , always satisfied with the work they do.

Came in for a price quote for a mid muffler delete and was told he could get me in right away. Left extremely happy will be back again. Thank you Steve and team for the friendly service.

Had my exhaust installed from the header back, store kept my in the loop and finished same day. The tech went so far as to run the car and saw that the cam in my engine was moving the exhaust to much so he worked an extra 40 minutes after close to make sure the exhaust was solid. Manager then offered to bring the car back and weld on the exhaust tips I had on order free of charge. Cannot recommend enough.

If you would like to pay $2000 for new catalytic converters that in no way solve a completely unrelated problem and leave your vehicle (still) essentially totaled then this is the auto shop for you! Either these guys are pretty incompetent mechanics or don’t value your needs as a customer and will take advantage of any lack of mechanical knowledge they can.

Nothing but great things to say! They worked with my difficult schedule and getting rides to get me in as soon as possible. The work was done well, quickly, and at the exact cost they estimated! Will be going back for sure!

I brought my Jag for exhaust work. While getting my exhaust fixed. They also found my crossmember loose and my rear diffuser off from one side. They took the time to fix that without trying to charge me for it. This definitely shows how much they care about their customers. 100% satisfied. I will definitely come here again for anything else I need.

Experiencing a multiple misfire and intermittent misfire on my car I was able to take my car in the very next day and get a quote to fix the vehicle. They were able to pinpoint the issue right away. The turnaround time was amazing and the people at Austin promax did the job in a quick efficient manner. I even asked them about the brakes on my vehicle. Instead of trying to upsell or sell me a brake service that I didn't need they turned around and told me the brakes were not needed and my brakes were fine. Honesty and integrity. In this new world order where we're supposed to lower our expectations it's nice that the guys that Austin promax met and then exceeded them.

Too much to expkain here. I would never use these guys again. I paid these guys hundreds of dollars for parts I could have bought from Amazon or Ebay for less than one hundred dollars had I had more knowledge. They authorized themselves to work on parts i didnt ask to be worked on. Let's just say they saw me coming and bemt me over. I now advise everyone I know to avoid this shop. They are not trustworthy.

Installation of catalytic converter shield. Very professionally done. At a great price. A great place to get any automotive specialty work done the right way. Highly recommended.

Restored 1970 Pontiac Firebird. Service writer Steve was awesome getting me in ASAP and courteous and the whole way , his Exhaust tech Luis understood the job and how picky I was , Luis went to town and when the exhaust system was finished there was no disappointments with his quality of speed and craftsmanship. First time in the shop. Needed a tail pipe for my truck. 30 minutes later i was leaving with a new tail pipe. Was able to watch the install, very professional and thorough. Got a black tip put on the pipe. As I watched i hought i would get some high heat paint to make the pipie match. It was like the guy read my mind, he painted the pipe right there. I am now a customer.

Sent a vehicle up to get a new exhaust put on it.I was quoted $1850 for the exhaust to be replaced I declined for them to do any work to the car within five minutes of hanging up I get a call from someone that works there asking how much I would sell the car for. I own a dealership and was absolutely appalled that an employee would try and lowball offer the car, stating he would do the exhaust at home. I again declined his offers to buy my car and advised I would be picking it up. Be careful when dealing with these guys if they are trying to do this to a business who knows how many people they have taken advantage of!!!!!!

Pro Max employees/mechanics are fantastic. Not only in their service but in the care they took with my show car. 👍 I was treated with respect, professionalism and they kept my car safely in the stall until I was able to get there to pick it up. The Manager Steve was kind and courteous, very well explained the repair and the price was exactly as expected. Also the office and shop was clean. My air conditioning worked good when the job was finished. My repair was done on time and my truck was clean. Good job Steve and crew I will be back for other repairs and reccomend Austin Pro Max to others.

Front desk manager was very informative, gave me plenty options and went over the pros and cons of each option, allowing me to make the best choice. Very satisfied with the work done. I waited a few days just to be sure before I posted praises of the work this team did. I recommend their service if you are in the area, and to call and schedule an dignose appointment if you are out the area

I brought in my 2020 Dodge Durango to get a more aggressive sound out of the exhaust. I was able to walk in and immediately was helped. They explained what they could do for me and gave me a quote right there. They worked on my vehicle immediately that same day. They also finished the job in record time. Faster than an oil change at some places! The staff there was friendly and professional. My Durango sounds like it should now! Thank you Austin’s Pro Max!

Service was fair and honest. Their price was better than anybody else I'd checked on up to a $300 savings. The quality of work and the welding appeared to be excellent. I could not be more satisfied.

The shop did a outstanding job R & R my muffler & exhaust pipes. I was not aware of all the different jobs they can do, and the price was very reasonable. It is nice because there shop is about a mile away! Yes without a doubt I would highly recommend there shop!! Michael J Clemenson (Mike C)

So after spending countless dollars chasing problem after problem, which in turn crwated more problems i decided to take this 93 chevy silverado to a place where in the past ive had success with a rav 4. Although spendy, i left my truck with them. This truck was on its last leg, i feel. But after 2450.00 the truck is like new. Runs fantastic. Ive had the trk a couple years after buying it from a tiny dealership. Ran ok for a minute. Now after pro.ax, it runs better than ever, im sure... even got exaust... theyre outstanding overthere. No nonsense. I recommend them. If i was to find a negative, i would say they should incorporate a 10 percent discount for vets.

Great work done, very impressed. Only complaint is the gentleman who gave me the quote forgot the quote, didn’t write it down, then when I came back the price we talked about was $50 higher. Not a big deal cause the work was well done so I didn’t complain, however, get quotes in writing 👍
