Realest review I've written in a while. But I will keep it all the way real. Ordered Jerk Chicken Hennessey. Mango sauce on the side. Garlic mashed potatoes. 20 mins...no foot yet. At this point I'm saying this better be the BEST cause now I'm hungry and getting miserable.. 22nd min...food arrives. And the moment it was presented infront of me...the aroma alone slapped negativity immediately out of my body. This is one amazing combination of flavors I've had in a very long time. Lord have mercy I visited Saturday. It's Monday and I'm on my way back right now. I realized I'm more upset that very few people I know knew this place...(the ones that seen it drove by..never tried it, and about two told me it's good) This place is definitely worth the wait. And they aren't using cheap ingredients. One thing I was taught is you get what you pay for. I've never waited so long for food, paid a premium price and STILL left a tip. Only downside I found..(which is totally not their fault so they still get 5 stars) the music they play is PERFECT!...However, that bar directly across the street plays music also and it combats the restaurants ambiance and sound. Final note, don't kid yourself. These guys know what they are doing. OFFICIALLY.

Good food and drinks! Stays open pretty late. Lovely outdoor setting. Good customer service. We went here a couple of times during our short stay in Ocho!

I preordered food to dine in. Although restaurant closes at 10pm. I was told at 8pm they were about to close. However my order was taken and I was greeted and seated promptly. My food was tasteless. The rice and pease bland and the oxtail needed any seasoning. I had to add pepper sauce to at least get a flavour. Felt rushed to leave as i was the only patron. Then hit with the overpriced bill for the quality of food. Never again!

Great food, had both their normal jerk and Hennessy jerk and it was really good. Only issue was that the food took a while to come. Outdoor seating available and there is also a bar.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The decor and seating gave me a relaxing vibe. I was very impressed with the delightful flavour of the curry goat and rice and peas. I highly recommend this place.

The food was overpriced and not very very flavorful, I’ve had much better Jamaican food in the states / from more hole in the wall and side of the road places in Jamaica. It’s almost like the food is tailored to the American palate. Not a very good authentic representation of good Jamaican food was very disappointed. Atleast lower the price for the amount of portions people are receiving.

Ok, just to be fair. It's one of the best chicken iv had in my whole life overall. Their chicken has the grill taste with their jerk spices, and it's just so yummy. Their quarter chicken is pretty big , so that should be sufficient, but their prices are too much for just a chicken , but we were a tourism group and am sure that's why they hijacked the prices over there

Our group was too large for them, they ran out of food. Only have traditional Jamaican food. Ox tail was ok, first time having it. Rice and peas was better at the resort... Festivals were awesome.

This review is more about the food than the service. I was with a large group and we preordered. I was looking forward to leaving the resort and tasting authentic Jamaican food. This was not it. The jerk chicken was very dry and the rice and peas were mid at best. But atmosphere is quite nice.

Oxtail is decent. The jerk chicken was 🤮 it was dry. Rubbery and no flavor. Too expensive for this quality

Linda's Jerk and Seafood is a culinary gem that transports your taste buds to the Caribbean. The flavors are a delightful fusion of spices and fresh seafood that will leave you craving more. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to savor the vibrant and authentic tastes of the islands.

If you want local flavor, then this is not the place. If you're a tourist that wants to "feel" like you've experienced a jerk spot, then sure stop by. Overpriced and underwhelming.

Portions way tooooooo small for the prices. In the USA, we do not even pay 22$ American dollars for a small plate of food. I believe this place overcharges tourists intentionally. Not cool! The atmosphere is cool! The food was good! It's just the overcharging I found super ridiculous.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other reviewers. Our tour guide insisted on us going to this place. The food was mediocre at best and a small portion for the price. I was quite disappointed because I really wanted my husband to taste authentic jerk chicken and he commented that he has had better jerk chicken in the states. This was his very first time in Jamaica :(. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was okay. But like others have said, I would not go back there and neither would anybody else from our tour bus. I feel we would have had much better luck from a street vendor.

This is 100% a tourist trap! Most drivers will take you there for the $$ they pay them.BUT, Let me start with the positive: Wonderful Staff and wonderful ambiance. Not on the water though. But the jerk chicken truly sucked. Chicken and rice was luke warm, not very tasty. Not like the one I had in past cruises at other places like Montego Bay, etc. I had another place in mind, but the driver insisted, that this would be the best location. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Great patio and the food was delicious. Our trip there was on a holiday Monday and there were 2 cruise ships docked which led to a busier lunch hour that they were used to. I'm not a regular however it was clear they were overwhelmed with people waiting for tables and service. I would definitely recommend going there. People were very friendly and you could see staff were working hard to keep everyone fed and happy. Kudos to them.

The view and atmosphere is beautiful. I believe they were low on staff, customer service wasn't very good. Food was cold and wasn't cook completely. I ordered chicken and jerk pork combo with festivals. I will give it another try next time just to see.

Well the design of the establishment is good. Outdoor and all. However my order of curried goat was not served. After nearly an hour waiting I was told that an full serving was not available. I finished my scotch and left

The food was okay to good; although this was only based on exploring the Jerk menu. There is also an array of seafood. The service was very good. The internal ambiance is also very good, but one can easily get distracted by the external traffic and general surroundings.

The food came prepared when we arrived since we pre ordered which was nice. Beyond that, nothing positive to say. Small portions for price. Food was overcooked and underseasoned. Always understaffed. We received our water AFTER finishing our meal and the wait staff spilled water multiple times as she was rushing cause they were understaffed. I asked for my smoothie FIVE TIMES and guess when it came. When I was paying my bill and leaving. This place costs too much for poor food and service.

Arrived and we were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered drinks and the food items. We needed prices regarding the drinks, but the server had to keep going to cashier to ask for prices. Our suggestion is to have a drinks price list, Our table ordered curry goat with rice and peas, jerk chicken with festival, jerk chicken with rice and peas, and curry shrimp with rice and peas. The food was tasty, well seasoned, plated well and didn’t take long for us to be served (we were the first group to arrive). However the jerk chicken was a little dry and crispy (just a little bit too long on the fire), but otherwise it was fine. Chevaughn was our server, he was pleasant, checked on us frequently and did his best to answer our questions (or seek the answer if he didn’t know offhand).
