We found this restaurant on Yelp, and liked the reviews. It looked busy, but we found a place to park & we were seated as soon as we walked in. It was warm (literally & figuratively) upon entering. After seating us, our hostess brought us our drinks. I had the hot tea (hot water and tea bags to choose from brought to the table with sweeteners) & husband had the iced tea. Honey was already on the table. Yum. Lesley was hustling! And she hustled for us, too. She took our orders, and started bringing food out as it was ready. Husband got his freshly made salad within minutes. It was very good! I know because he let me finish it - including the beet and cucumbers that he dislikes. He does not know what he’s missing. All of it was great! He ordered the country fried steak, which came with corn and mashed potatoes with white gravy. I got the Lady Burger without cheese or fries. I asked for the coleslaw instead. Everything came out about 15 minutes later, and everything was good. The coleslaw was creamy and slightly sweet, the way I like it. The six ounce burger was the perfect size, cooked just the way I like it - medium. All in all, it was a lovely evening, with good food and excellent staff!

Everywhere else had waits of over an hour ona Friday night so we came here. Our group of 12 was seated right away. The waitress was nice. I asked for extra ranch dressing on my side salad and she brought me a whole bottle of cold ranch, and bottles of fry sauce with the fries. That's how I like my sauces, unlimited. Their fries were homemade and very tasty. I ordered a pastrami burger with lettuce instead of a bun. They use nice thick lettuce on both sides so it held together pretty well. It was delicious. We came back another day for take out because thr line at Wendy's was wrapping out onto main street. Susie's took our order over the phone and had our it ready in less than ten minutes. Every burger here is 1/3 or 1/2 lbs. And the portions on other items like the salads are also very generous.

Susie’s Branding Iron is a great stop. Very good comfort food, fantastic service, large place and wonderful service. Had the open face Chili Burger, wife had the ribs which were juicy, very good taste and fall off the bone goodness. Oh! the Chicken Fried Steak was spot on.

We stopped here on 9/11/21. The restaurant was not busy, so we were seated immediately and had drinks within minutes. Our waitress promptly put in our order for appetizers, and the fried pickles were delicious. I had a burger for the main course, and it was grilled perfectly. Our had plenty of Jalapeno's for my taste, but it was still great. My wife had the BLT. And it was loaded with bacon... Tasty bacon! And the lettuce was fresh cut, unlike some places who serve you lettuce with brown edges. The fries were tasty, and the sauces they provided were 1st rate! I can highly recommend anybody to this place!

We all were most impressed with Susie's. We were seated right away. Most of our party had chicken fried steak which they loved. The portion was ample and very tasty. One had pork chop and would have liked it to be much thicker. Atmosphere was quaint and staff very friendly.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Susie’s Branding Iron! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance. The food was exquisite – every dish was prepared with evident skill and care. The flavors were tantalizing, and the portion sizes were just right. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. I highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience. A must-visit for both locals and visitors!

Came in near closing and they accommodated us. We just got into town and we heard they had yummy chicken fried steak. They did not disappoint!! Crispy and fresh. The gravy needed more seasoning, but it was still a delicious dish! Worth a stop if you are driving through. Bryce was our server and he was attentive and was able to make us tired travelers feel welcome.

Went for dinner last Friday. We had a large party and they were able to seat us fairly promptly. Talked to a few locals while we were waiting, the consensus was Susie's has the best steaks in town. The service was excellent even with our large group, and pricing is fair. Great sandwiches and steaks.

Not crowded!!!! The best part of eating here. We were seated immediately. Good food. Not great. Fun vibe. Real locals. Great service from the wait staff. Their prime rib service needs to learn the difference between medium rare and rare. It’s a fine line but I’m not looking for tartar in a prime rib. If ya know what I mean. Nice size portion. All the toppings for a baked potato. The fry bread with honey was amazing. Not greasy at all.

Overall good experience, service was attentive, restaurant was pleasantly eccentric. Food was good, but very overpriced. We all got the rib special, but didn't even look at the price until the receipt showed we each ate a half rack of ribs for $26. Again, they were high side of average good, but not so much to justify that price point. Honestly, the Navajo fry bread was the only exceptional thing about the meal

Great restaurant!!! Hands down one of the best meals we’ve had while traveling. The food was obviously all cooked from scratch, fresh and delicious!! We had country fried steak with gravy, vegetables, salad and my first time having fry bread!! Tammy was a wonderful server and we enjoyed her talking with us as she and most of her family are from Moab! Tammy, we went on that loop road you told us about. I thought we were lost but my husband loved it!!

Came here for the Navajo tacos because I wanted to try Native American food and Moab surprisingly did not have any Native American restaurants. I doubt these are authentic. Seemed more like a marketing gimmick. The fry bread was basically a donut without the icing. I got a side of the fry bread and just poured honey on it and ate it like a donut. The Navajo taco was just watery beany meat and ordinary taco toppings (lettuce, cheese, onions, sour cream and salsa). They didn't even try to be unique or use authentic Mexican ingredients. The meal was filling which is nice after long hikes in the nearby parks, but left a lot to be desired. Service was ok. We did wait a long time for our check. They also mentioned that they have the right to close early if business was slow. Donuts were pretty good if you called them for what they are - donuts lol.

We were seated quickly and our server was great. Hubby had the ribeye steak and gave it 5 stars. I had the Navajo Taco -which is fried bread. Very tasty.

Stopped in for lunch passing through, the service was excellent and fresh food. The homemade taquitos were delicious, a little warning , there are toothpicks holding them together! Hard to see , they blend in if you're not looking for them. OUCH. The mushroom Swiss burger was ok, definitely lacking on seasonings and a bit bland. The homemade fries are not for me, to be fair i typically do not like them anywhere. The kraft Mac, was just that, hard to mess that up and earned a thumbs up from a picky 7yr old! I've heard great things about the breakfast, so I'll definitely give them another shot my next time through!

Mediocre food and a little overpriced. Soggy fries, bland salad. Burger was decent. Chicken bowl was ok but quality wasn’t very good. We upped our rating from 2 to 3 stars because of friendly service. Conveniently walkable from the KOA (take the 4 wheeler path so you don’t have to walk on the road).

Last place to grab lunch, south bound… The service was good, atmosphere is cozy and laid back. We had the waitress’s favorites: the Cajun burger and the chicken bowl. Both were quite tasty. The french fries are homemade!! (P.S. you can get the beer to go)

We really liked eating at Susie’s. The service, Vinny was good and responsive. The food was good and prepared to order. (No thousand island on that Rueben. Ranch, please!). My wife loved her French dip too. The deep fried mushrooms were great. Not over cooked and nice and hot! The only down side was the frozen banana cream pie. Wait, what? Frozen? Gotta fix that!

Great sweet Tea. It wasn't too busy at 1:30 since it's outside of the main area. Food was good. We got burgers and chicken strips. No outside seating. It would be the perfect spot to over looks the canyons.
