A beautiful place to walk, jog, do some fishing, swim, or just relax. I would even dare to say do some sightseeing, because there is just a lot of beautiful and poetic homes and gardens, picturesque restaurants, coffee shops, bars and grills, and a lovely brand new playground for the children. There’s also a nearby outlet mall, movie theater, and a brand new casino.

Sparks Marina Park is a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains with a paved walking trail. I found it peaceful and enjoyed watching the ducks and swans in the water

Nice place for a solitary stroll in the morning, or a crowded one in the afternoon. Has a huge brand new playground, picnic areas, a beach w volleyball nets, and grass areas (watch out for duck droppings though). You can take out your paddleboard or fishing boat, or cast from the docks. Marina even has a concession stand with Hotdogs & Root Beer Floats. Plus you can stop along the pathway at the Water Bar and have an adult beverage on their huge patio. Really nice, no/low cost place in Sparks to bring ones family for the day.

I would say this place is perfect but it's kind of overcrowded, and sometimes has a very weird smell. Doesn't take away from the fact that it's beautiful though! It also has a great dog park where the doggos can swim, and a nice path! Sunsets and sunrises are spectacular here as well!

It's a great place for children. Very interactive. The downside are the restrooms 🚻 and the beach ⛱️ area. The lake needs desperate cleanup as well as the beach area.

It is a really beautiful place to hang out in the evening, the weather is quite nice and you can see a beautiful sunset. There’s a public restroom you can use with a water fountain in case you’re thirsty. It is definitely a place I would recommend for checking out if you ever get the chance. 👍👍👍

Absolutely beautiful. There is a path that goes around the water making it a great trail to walk your dogs on. It's a little over 2 miles if you walk all the way around.

Great walking/bike path with lots of parking. Lots of apt construction going on (east side of lake), but the west side of the park has a great view of snow topped mountains. Path circles a lake that's approximately 1.5 miles per lap. There's swimming (open in the summer), dog park, playground, fishing, kayak rentals, coffee shop along the path, and concessions area (closed when I was there in early April). This place was steady with people of all ages enjoying the path or sidewalk benches and most were very friendly and acknowledged me during as we lapped each other. Lovely place!

This is a beautiful place for a quick jog or to walk your dog! Visited this place in the summer and it was scenic that we spent an entire evening in this park.. It's about a 3 mile loop with a dog park and even volley ball nets. Definitely recommend!

Sparks Marina Park is a great park to go for a walk, bike, or a place to enjoy with friends and family. There is about a 1+ mile loop around the lake that has a paved bike path the entire way around. There is a playground, picnic benches, and areas for gatherings as well a designated swimming spots. Perfect for families or those wanting a scenic place to walk.

Even on a less than perfect day, always a great walk to take with your dog. There is a dog park. But, it is on the waters edge. If your loved water. Well, that's going to be your call. A complete rebuild of the kids playground is in progress. Looks almost done. Upgrade to Veterans memorial and addition of outdoor amphitheater still on going.

I had the greatest pleasure of being able to participate with my friends and colleagues. We came in 3rd place after participating in Dragon Boat race. It was a blast we had fun competing with the best in the game. This our second time. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year.

I love tanning here! There are friendly geese and ducks living here- please don't chase them or litter as this is their home. Let's keep this park nice by picking up after ourselves and being respectful to nature- so many cool critters live in and around the Marina and we are lucky to enjoy this little gem in our community. Thank you to the staff who keep this place clean and safe! The bathrooms are always clean and smelling fresh and as far as I know nobody has drowned yet in the Marina! That's pretty alright, keep up the good work!

This a great place to go for a walk. There are clean bathrooms and brand new playground for those who limited abilities. The dog walking is excellent with an area for dogs to swim in the warm months and run with joyous freedom.

As usual, Sparks Marina never fails to offer a serene place to relax, jog, or walk your four legged partners around a beautiful, scenic lake. Sunny, clean, and VERY welcoming!

Lovely park with a nice walking and biking path that goes around the marina. Great for morning or evening walks. Nice fenced in dog park on the south side of the lake. Cute little play yard for the kids.

Would be nice if there were more shade on the walking path, my dog was struggling @ 74F this past weekend.

When my kids were little I used to bring them here to play. Now that they are older I come here to walk after I drop them off at school. I love it here. There are always people walking, running or riding bikes, and lots of dog walkers too! It’s peaceful, and clean, and I really appreciate having restrooms to use when needed. I walk for leisure...a slow stroll and it takes me about 40 minutes to walk all the way around.

They say "all abilities" but that doesn't apply to crawlers or toddlers/babies learning to walk without shoes. The ground gets super hot because there's not enough shade. It was also designed with a dark blue slide (intended for littles) pointed at the morning sun, without shade. So it gets too hot for the Littles to enjoy. The toddler swings are dark and in the sun. Also getting too hot. So many things are already broken. Last time we were there, one of the xylophone mallets was missing. There's missing bolts, missing toys etc. There were sink holes under the padded mats at one point. We were just in Vegas and all of the playgrounds we went to have shade cloths. I don't know why this wasn't taken into consideration for this park. It is fully enclosed which is a plus. When things work, it's nice. It has a good variety of stuff. It needs more shade to protect the kids from burning themselves on the equipment. Safety needs to be taken into better account.

Just love the Marina. You can create great memories here. It's great for walks, family fun, pictures, pet friendly. Evenings time is beautiful.

A nice scenic place to relax and unwind at the end of a day. Good for a walk around, but concrete pathway not the best thing to jog on . Nice pond. Just a couple of minute's walk from the T/A truck stop. Think would be a good place for some truckers to get a little excercise on their break after sitting and driving all day.

It's a beautiful little Park semicolon but other than walking around the lake there's just a casino with the restaurant and some pricey shops on the other side. The off-leash dog area is very nice as there are benches to sit on. However from the nearest handicap parking space it is really a long walk before you get to the dog park. I don't mind it as there are a couple of benches to sit along the way. They also have a very clean restroom
