Went in 2018 , brought my car registered it and stayed at silver legacy. So unorganized it blows my mind especially after paying 200$ to register for the show. Staff couldn't even figure out where to park half the cars when we all waited from 530am. The cruise at night was a parking lot and cars barely moved, alot of cars overheating or running hot. Silver legacy and other casinos are damn near worse than an Indian casino in California. Tweakers, trailer trash, buns everywhere. Went to cool April nights this year in Redding, half the price and way nicer

The largest and best car show in the west coast. The best part are the night cruises.

One of our favorite events of the year! There is so much to do, and it is always fun to meet other car enthusiasts. The majority of the event is run by hundreds of amazing volunteers, imagine 6,000 classic vehicles in the area, that's quite a job! Our favorite event is the nightly cruise, but there are several other events that we love as well!

When we lived in California South Bay we went to this event early year for 8 years. I would suggest not going the last weekend of this week long event.

Not really Hot Augest "Nights" if it's only open during the time that most people work, and also the hottest part of the day. Planned to go once it had gotten cooler, but it's over 4 hours before sunset? Why call it that? Just call it "Heatsroke Days".

Huge collection of awesome classic cars and fun stuff for the whole family to do. And best of all it's all free! Food at the event can be pricey so we bring our own.

HAN is a volunteer-run event that takes year-round planning and preparation. But the folks also hold parties throughout the year to keep the volunteers in-touch and motivated. It's lots a fun.

The best community Event in Reno NV. I encourage all my outa state friends and relatives to attend. I esp enjoy the evening events in and around the Casinos. I've lived in Reno all my life, been to most of the annual HAN events since they started. One suggestion that I have ... bring back Abbacadabra and the Village People. Wow !!! Thnx.

We are members and participants that volunteer every year. I'm going on 17 years as a member. Best week of our lives. We call it our vacation time.

I caught some early morning Show & Shine in downtown Reno on Virginia Street. I wished it would post longer than 30 seconds so you could see all the cool cars I captured!

This is our 34th Hot August Nights, started in 1987 ! This is the only time I’ve complained, but the HAN Merchandise this year sucks! I came on Wednesday, the Merchandise tables only had a small percentage of what the were supposed to get. The workers were just as upset with all the partial orders they received. Its Thursday afternoon and it’s still bad in Sparks, downtown Reno and at the Grand Sierra, limited merchandise. The HAN Tshirts were ugly. The worst is this years POSTER!! YOU HAVE NOT LIVED UP TO THE STANDARDS WE, THE PARTICIPANTS, EXPECT FROM THIS EVENT. YOUR NEW WAY OF DOING THINGS, BASED ON THE NEW DIRECTORS VISION IS A DISGRACE TO WHAT HOT AUGUST NIGHTS WAS MEANT TO BE !
