What a great lunch! The food was fresh and delicious. The Brisket burger was one of the tastiest I've had and the french onion soup was also excellent. Customer service was exceptional from the entire staff. The hostess was super friendly and informative about the restaurant's history. First commercial business in the area since 1927! Our waitress was very patient and friendly. Even the other waitress there took great care of us. Very clean, super friendly, great drink selection and great food! Highly recommend and will be coming back soon. Thanks to everyone there, we really enjoyed our lunch!

Great atmosphere always pleasant staff. Beers are yummy. I got the brussel sprout pizza which was a bit of a let down. There wasn't much pancetta and the tomato sauce didn't do any favors I think it would had been better if you scratched the tomato sauce and did like a roasted garlic butter with a balsamic reduction drizzle.

The food was wonderful and the staff was delightful. We were traveling long distance + chose this place because it has dog friendly seating. However since it was their last hour, they'd shut down the outdoor seating. So we left our dogs in the van. It was 72 degrees and dark out, a nice light breeze, we left windows open about 3 inches. We were inside the restaurant for 35 minutes. Unfortunately the locals who were dining at the bar felt the need to call the cops on us. (We heard them discussing dogs in a van, assumed they meant somebody else since we'd only been there so breifly and pulled up after dark.) The bartender was aware this conversation was going on. Still not sure what the offense was. Cop took our names, date of birth and phone numbers. I felt this was all so unnecessary and left a bad twist on our breif visit. Definitely doesn't welcome us to want to visit again while traveling through.

Randomly found ourselves in this cute little area of town. Picturesque place and this restaurant stood out and delivered. Medieval bar vibe but the food was great which is most important

The food was delicious. The inside of the place is fantastic. It has an open rooftop, and you can view the lake. Two doors, one for the restaurant, the other you can walk into the bar area. The bathroom is one stall.

My onion soup was flavorful and thats about it. The waitress forgot to put our drink order in, the bloddy maria, wasnt good at all. We waited 40 min for our salads and burgers. By the time they served us, the fries were cold. Another thing that ticked me off was the fact they were hovering over us and taking out plates as soon as we were done.. never felt so rushed in my life. Will not return.

Great food, love the side outside patio area. Me and my fiancé realized that it is dog friendly and it was lovely to see that. The food was great and big portions and the service was great and super quick. Will be back again. We ordered the chipotle beer marinated pub steak sandwich and fiesta salad with grilled shrimp and dressing on the side. Thank all so much we came here today for a late lunch we got married right here in Lake Mohawk on the bridge this past Sunday, you all were so sweet and amazing service and congratulating us, we so love and appreciate.

Love Kroghs! Incredible beer and food and their servers and bartenders are so attentive. This place is a step above, truly. One word of caution: parking sucks around Lake Mohawk.

Explored this spot as a post golf option and it’s pretty good. Parking can be difficult as it’s right on a Main Street. Lots of options for drinks which is nice. Appetizers were great. The main entrees were ok. Will definitely be back for appetizers and drinks.

We came on Wednesday for lunch 🥗 and find parking and place was amongst empty and we were very happy about :) our waiter was very nice friendly and helpful woman. Told us story about this place and said that in weekends it is crazy busy and hard to find parking ( I really believe it is because it is very few parking in whole area). We had very lovely time and I wonder why people even put bad reviews about this place. All food was fresh tasty and served very fast. I wonder what people even expected when they came in this pub in the weekend when it is super busy?! I really like this pub inside it is reminded me UK 🇬🇧 a lot :) we had : 1) Turkey sandwich on a ciabatta with bruschetta, arugula,Mozzarella and a balsamic glaze; served with a side of fries (portion was huge!!) our relatives from uk and Greece were shocked how big it was and regret that did not take one and split it 😆 2) French onion soup (was good) 3) House-Made Chips & Guacamole (and it was super really) 4) Southwest Chicken Wrap plus guacamole 🥑 (I really enjoyed it) 5) Baja Fish Wrap with potato salad 🥗 (my husband liked it too). So 5 starts because I loved our experience:) but there is transaction fee so be aware of it or bring cash 💵

First time here for New Years day with family, and first and foremost, the location is great! Practically overlooking the lake. The woodwork inside is really nice and has a lively yet cozy atmosphere. The food was good too! Their Nachos were some of the best I have ever had. All of us were pleased with our food. Our server was great. We did order appetizers and lunch, and it all came out together it took about 30+ minutes, which was surprising since we ordered immediately and the crowd died down once we arrived. I'm not sure what the issue was. I do still recommend this restaurant and they do suggest reservations which we did.

Pretty unfortunate experience. I was very excited to bring my girlfriend and her sister here as all of the reviews raved about the freshness and quality of the food. Let's just say we were more than disappointed... I ordered the French onion soup as I saw a review talking about how amazing it was. It came in a small bowl for 7 dollars and although it wasn't bad, it wasn't good either. Just "meh". The broth didn't have the deep richness of flavor I was expecting nor the amount of onions I would expect in a French ONION soup. I was going to order a half a rack of ribs as an entree but I was told they were out of that item. So instead I went with a pulled pork sandwich. Again it was very lackluster and not very appetizing looking. The pulled pork definitely did not taste freshly made nor was it even super hot. I had about 3 bites of it and decided that was enough as I basically lost my appetite. My girlfriend ordered the steak sandwich which I expected to be phenomenal. It came and again did not look very pleasing and there was more bread than anything else. The steak inside was lukewarm dry, and overcooked. Surprisingly the Reuben was the only decent thing we had ordered. But even that was worse and more expensive than a Reuben at Pizza 1 in Sparta. So take that for what it's worth. On top of all that I realize there is a $3 service fee. I mean is it really necessary to charge that 3 extra dollars for a "service fee" when the menu prices are already up??? Overall, I'll make sure anyone I know steers clear of Krogh's Restaurant & Brew Pub

Yes prices are a bit high now ($16 for a wings appetizer?) BUT...they make GREAT wings. Far, far better than places like Buffalo Wild Wings. Other food offerings are quite good as well. Plus their local beers are excellent. Worth the trip if you're not local.

Came here with a few buddies after a round of golf. This place is fantastic! I had the crab and shrimp fajitas which were incredibly tasty and the portion size was massive. I also had the French onion soup as an appetizer which was also delicious. Drink prices were reasonable and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect. It was my first time in the town as well and it was a nice quaint little area with a bunch of shops and restaurants and all in all was impressed with the entire experience. The staff was also excellent. Servers were attentive, polite and a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely be coming back again.

This place is so fun! The service started off a little slow, but the place was packed so sort for our own fault. I never felt ignored though, which is a hard balance to achieve! The atmosphere was amazing, and the food just as much so. The wine list made my little California heart happy too, which I was not expecting!

Went here on the recommendation of the owners of the Wooden Duck Inn. Glad we did. As busy as the place is it still has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive. We had the prime rib which was cooked perfectly. The portions are large. Eating here was a very enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it.

Excellent food and service. Restaurant continues to have great food. Been going there since 1950's and still a favorite with great views across the street of the lake.

This is the second time I’ve been here and again the food is amazing! Service is super fast, restaurant is clean. My one and only thought would be … If you’re looking for a reasonably quiet place for dinner conversation.. not here. I couldn’t hear our company from across the table. The band didn’t even start and the bar patrons were louder than any entertainment. I’m glad we finished quickly and very much appreciated the free bottle of champagne for our Husband and Bride to be:) it was an amazing gesture:)

Bloody Mary is a go. Nachos…. Not so much. The salsa throws it off. Not enough sour cream either even asked for extra. Still are the whole thing though! Live atmosphere. $13 bloody is a bit much for price wise.

Awesome staff, quick service, incredible food, and you can't leave this place without trying their French Onion Soup. If you're a meat lover, the Mixed Game Grill is the right dish for you. The sausages were juicy, the Ostrich Medallions were nice and pink inside, the beans were crunchy, everything cooked to perfection. They also have a big variety of beers that I didn't find anywhere else. I tried the Wild Strawberry Three Sisters Wheat, and I loved it. We're totally coming back for a live music evening.

This place is so special. It’s very popular with locals and for a good reason. The food is always fresh and well made with weekly and seasonal specialties. My husband and Mom have dietary restrictions and are always able to find something on the menu that is pleasing. Chicken Riggies and Grilled chicken sandwich with rarebit sauce are always fam favorites. If you get the rare bit sauce with pretzels, hang on to it for the entree and dip some fries in. Personally, I love the nachos, pretzels, veggie burgers, salads with falafel and any of their sides. The winter menu mushroom kale burger is my standard order. The shells and sauce are favorites of my NYC Italian mom who usually hates on all sauce that’s not her own. The French Onion soup has plenty of the umami flavor and coziness that you you expect and want from that dish. They offer a great selection of beers some of which are their own. My favorite is Hop Pop IPA. They have a program called “The Giving Tap” which highlights a weekly special beer with proceeds going to community charities. I have never had anything but a wonderful experience with their staff. The hosts and waitstaff are usually very busy but nothing short of kind, respectful and professional. I notice there is a core staff that is there for years and that says something. Have a bad day? Come to Krogh’s. Good day? End of the week? Family visiting? Snow day? Summer night? The answer is always Krogh’s for us because they consistently provide an exceptional experience. The prices are fair, it’s not Applebees or a pizzeria. *My parents recently house sat for us on their 40th anniversary. We got them a gift card for a night out and they were treated so nicely. They had the special forest booth and were given a bottle of champagne. It made them so happy.

The cookie dough mud pie was delicious! The mixed berry sour was lacking flavor. The black cherry sour was better. Service was great.

We took a trip up to Lake Mohawk to see this small town and lake. Just as we arrived it started raining really hard. To kill some time, hoping it would stop raining, we walked to this interesting looking restaurant/ pub and found a small gem of a place. Staff was extremely friendly and the food was excellent. Chicken wings were not covered in a sauce that over powered the taste and the entree was excellent. The steak was tender and flavor full. Most places make poor quality rice but the rice was good not great but it made me happy I ordered rice as the side. Had a sample of a few beers they served there and I wasn't disappointed. The local and house made beers were all very good. I dont remember what the apple dessert dish was called but it was so good but I had no more room to finish it.. I hope to go back into the area one day when it's not raining. Regardless of the weather I'll probably end up eating at this restaurant again.

After doing research, this seemed to be popular and a Must Go place. The atmosphere was great if you like the pub feel. The beer was Fantastic! We ordered multiple different house brews, and they were all amazing. Our food was bland but cooked well. I think if they scaled down the menu and put more details into the food, then it would be unstoppable. Didn't make a reservation, and wait time was maybe 20 mins on Father's Day. Would go back for more beer.

Very good! We really enjoyed both IPAs on tap and the service was amazing. Our appetizer and main meals basically came out at the same time, which was kind of a bummer because by the time I finished my soup and app my main meal was cold. All the food was good and again the service was great. If we are in the area again we will be back.
