I had two different rooms about a week apart. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and furnished well. The beds are extremely comfortable. There were cracks in both bathroom sinks, but they didn't leak. The light fixture in both rooms had been modernized, and was a nice upgrade from most hotels I've stayed at. I could actually see myself in the mirror. The service was exceptional during both stays. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy, and all staff I interacted with were very kind and helpful. The location isn't central in Spearfish, but it's super easy to get to anything you need to within minutes. There's a restaurant right across the street, which offers a discount to Travelodge guests (I believe with a voucher, I did not eat at the restaurant). This hotel has clean, comfortable rooms for a very competitive rate with friendly staff. Can't go wrong.

Great rooms and facilities, however the continental breakfast has lot to desire. Little debbies cookies load with sugar are not good choice. Especially when there is a new sign posted that breakfast has been upgraded to reflect healthier choices. This is laughable. Thanks we got our own breakfast

You get what you pay for. No in room coffee, plain Jane amenities. Some nice and helpful staff, some not so much. Could’ve been better and it could’ve been worse. If you’re looking to save a few dollars, you won’t mind it.. If I were coming back anytime soon, I would probably look for something a little higher rated.

Super helpful staff! Had us all checked in and ready on arrival, let us check out late since we'd not gotten there until 3am so we could actually get some sleep on our travels. Ashley and crew were simply wonderful!!

The Travelodge in Spearfish is very convenient to the highway yet sound proof enough to be quiet. The rooms are outdated. Excellent pool and hot tub. Breakfast is just a snack. However, there is a Perkins restaurant nearby. It is good value for the price.

There rooms no longer have coffee machine in them. One of the queen beds had long black hair on it (im a blonde). The AC unit wouldn’t turn off. Staff seemed overwhelmed with check ins and phone calls. I requested a king bed and got two queens without being told that it was the only thing available.

Rooms are really dated and they let locals come and swim. Three boys came and batted a ball from one end to the other. Threw the batt hard against the wall. Mother laughed. Then the three boys were trying to hit the ceiling fans. Mom thought it was funny. We went to room. Hot tub jets have been broken for awhile local said. Terrible place!!

It was just horrible was there two weeks no housekeeping at all the girl that works nights drunk on the job worset hotel experience I've ever had.the young lady in the morning was very nice
