Beautiful campground with big sites. The flowing water throughout the campground is so nice to hear when sitting outside or walking the rec path. It is in a great location near food and attractions. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back for sure.

I absolutely love this campground! My family and I have been here 3 times now and it’s always the best! The service is amazing, it’s clean and you get a little creek running through the campground. My son absolutely loves to play in the creek when we come down. 100% recommend this campground to anyone!

One of our favorite campgrounds!! Spearfish creek is right beside many of the campsites. Great trout fishing and a great place to take a good book. There is a very pretty free fish hatchery right across the street as well as a very nice park. Great paths for walking, running, or biking. Be careful if you go after October 1, the water is shut off, but you can fill your rv tanks.

Booking was a handful, when we arrived at the campsite, there was no one in the office. We had to call them to figure out where our campsite was located. The campground was kept clean though. They had running water spigots and multiple showers/restroom buildings. There was not much to do nearby after Sturgis was done. The closest attraction was a hike called Devil’s Bathtub. We also went to Mount Rushmore and Devil’s Tower which was quite the drive. There isn’t a lot of stations nearby.

My husband and I camped here for one night. The campground was very nice, quiet, and well maintained. The bathrooms were very clean. There were paths to walk or bike throughout the campground. There was a free fish hatchery in walking distance. The staff was very friendly. We picked our site upon check-in and got a nice site next to the super clear creek.

Great campground at a reasonable price! Quiet and great volunteers. We stayed next to the stream and were able to hear it running at night. Spearfish is a nice town with good community.

I knew this would be a busy time of year for this campground...BUT there were WAY TOO MANY CAMPERS. There was no where to breathe let alone camp and enjoy yourselves. I could reach out my camper window and shake hands with the person camping next door without either of us leaving our camper. I do not understand all the 5 star ratings? We did not spend the night. My suggestion... go have a look and tour the campground BEFORE you pay, save yourself some $$
