Cool place! The food was excellent. On Sunday, they only have a brunch menu and close at 2 pm. The burgers are really good: thick, tasty patties and good buns. The fries are delicious, and really unique. The Brisket Egg Benedict was good, too. Yummy breakfast burrito. Prices aren't exactly cheap, but fits the quality of food + restaurant itself. It's a very pleasant atmosphere, with a nice view out the many big windows. The service was great. The bar looks nice. Highly recommend! 👍👍

Looking for a nice place to celebrate my birthday was a little difficult and I decided to try the Farmhouse Bistro. We arrived at around 6pm on a Tuesday and were seated quickly. They have a steady stream of diners, even during the week. I had a glass of wine although hoped to have a craft beer which they didn't have. We both ordered a side salad which was really good (loved their creamy balsamic dressing). Pictured here are the French Dip and Fish and Chips (huge plate with more fries than a human should consume). Food was good, especially the Fish (Mahi Mahi) which was perfectly done. Service was superb! We recommend you try this restaurant and we would definitely come again. I would also recommend reservations on the weekend as I imagine it is more crowded.

Very good food and an interesting menu. High end sandwiches, burgers, and finer dining options. We had the tuna and the duck as entrees and poutine as an appetizer. Definitely going back. Our server was awesome. Food was fast and fresh.

I recently ate brunch at the Farmhouse in Spearfish. We have a large party and we’re accommodated with no problems. The service was great and the food was even more amazing. The hot chicken and biscuits were delicious. I ate every bite, the drinks were really good as well. Everyone in my party, said their food was 10/10. If you are heading to Deadwood or visiting Spearfish, be sure to stop by the Farmhouse!

Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. My shrimp and grits were perfection and my picky beef loving husband raved about his ribeye. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a menu with so many delicious options it was hard to choose.

Another great experience tonight at The Farmhouse! They accommodated our larger group and the service and food were both excellent. I was so excited to dive into my Joe's Burger (with cheese) that I cut into it before taking a photo - the finger indents in the bun are mine!! The waffle cut sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy. Yum!

**1 star solely based on unprofessionalism and callous behavior of the owner and the treatment we received. 10 of us had this trip planned for a year to visit our 2 friends who are residents of Deadwood. They are regulars at this establishment and made reservations for the private room months in advanced for a bday dinner for 12 of us at 6pm. It was a milestone bday celebration and week long end to our trip. Instead, the private room was occupied by another party and we got seated at the high top table in front of the bar. We had 3 elderly adults who had difficulty due to joint issues and definitely not safe for our 3 toddlers at this height. What made this F’d up, was that our friends came here 10 days ago to dine, confirm and received a tour from the owner, himself!!! They even reserved on the online system. We did not receive an explanation or genuine apology from the owner. No offer of complimentary desserts or HBD except for “sorry it was probably a misunderstanding” from the manager regarding the owner. Apparently, the owner was in the back and refused to come out to address the issue. Very unprofessional of the owner to keep his word and not deliver. I would think twice about ever dining here again and boycott this restaurant. We have dined next door at Gao (Vietnamese) and Saywer (woodfired pizzas) while on this trip. I would go there again to support them over Farmhouse! Food: We got pasta ($29) in beer cream sauce with 6 mussels and 6 pork belly pieces. Added soup of the day (chicken and rice) for an additional $3. Fried chicken thigh w gravy on top and side dishes of mash potatoes and collard greens ($22). The presentation for this dish was not evenly plated. They either needed to use a smaller plate or give another piece of chicken. Presentation is everything but there was an empty space on the round plate. Both dishes were tasty. The kitchen forgot our pasta and our server caught it immediately as she brought out our chicken and gave us another soup until the pasta came. This was quick thinking on her part and she reacted to a situation and solved the problem. If only, the owner did the same. The service from the hostess and server is not to blame in this situation. They were great. Food was decent with tourist prices. Overall, we had high expectation and looked forward all week to a wonderful celebration in a secluded room. We are forever disappointed and scarred by this establishment.

One of the best burgers in the Black Hills. They have other stuff on the menu but I've never tried it.
