Had a wonderful experience at Atsiri Museum! Very recommended for those looking to learn more about scents and essential oils. Before you enter the museum they gave you a personality quiz about your scent aura, and later you can play with it inside the exhibition. They also sell perfume, hand sanitizer, essential oils, etc in the shop and the price is affordable.

Very nice museum for fragrance lovers! It's located inside Sarinah mall ( the first mall in Indonesia), at the 4th floor. The museum's ticket is a little bit overpriced, 45k/person, for around 10 minutes touring ( you'll go inside the museum per group/4 people). But, the educator gave us a detailed explanation about the plants and atsiri (essence/extract from plants that can be used for fragrance bases) and also they have an interactive edu game (quiz and aura game). The result from the game can determine your basic fragrance references. After that you can enjoy picking up the items from the Atsiri shopping store. You can make your own/personal fragrance based on the game before. They also have a dried flower and you can buy it, so you can brew your own tea at home! I've got lavender and forget me not tea for myself. The price at shopping store also quite expensive, remembering they only sell a real extract/atsiri. Not only fragrance, you can buy body lotion, body wash/soap, body scrub, hand sanitizer and mini pot (consist of seed and media/soil for plants, so you can grow your own flower at home!). The museum also has a restaurant, the menu is nice but unfortunately almost everything is sold when I go there (maybe because it's the holiday season). Give a good review on google maps, and get your free beverages!

Such a unique concept of a store, every thing smells really good but not in an overwhelming way. The staff was quite helpful as well but I think can be trained a little bit more on how to communicate product knowledge to new customers. Overall a pleasant experience though🫶🏼

I just follow my friend to come to this place, have no idea what was inside but I know what atsiri is. The tour only 15 minutes to show the plants, and they have nice art with lights and also in the end of the tour we can see our aurora and personal scent/fragrance. Also they have some product we can buy there, or create your own parfume/scent. The ticket price is IDR 45,000 and need to register first because they have limited space for tour. Only about 10 people per tour.
