It is considered as one of the "first generation" mall in jakarta built in 1996. It was the most luxury mall at that time and for me it is still has its charm. This mall provides sky ring for ice skating, cinema, gym, fun world arcade, a very suitable place for family recreation. It saddened me when i visited this mall, walking in emptied corridors that now it had lost lots of tenant since pandemic hit. However major store like ikea, Decathlon and ace hardware had replaced those lost plus the sky bridges connected to Hublife mall which is a good thing and i hope it gets better in the future.

Mal Taman Anggrek in Jakarta is a shopper's paradise. With its vast selection of stores, from luxury brands to local boutiques, it caters to every taste and budget. The mall's modern architecture and spacious layout create a pleasant shopping environment. It offers a wide range of dining options, making it a culinary destination as well. The entertainment choices are abundant, including a cinema and recreational areas for children. Conveniently located in the heart of Jakarta, it's easily accessible. The mall's commitment to cleanliness and safety during these times is commendable. Whether for shopping, dining, or entertainment, Mal Taman Anggrek is a must-visit destination in Jakarta.

This is probably the oldest n largest shopping mall in west Jakarta. It has 6 levels including jewelry shops, Ikea, Decathlon, Matahari, Hero supermarket, cafe, Electronic City, beauty clinic, yoga studio, few restaurants, bakeries, Lima lima as a food court selling local food, ski ring n cinema. It has passed its glory n is now trying to keep up with better appearances. Kinda hard looking for some shops as the information desk is located on the corner near some parking exit. If only they move it somewhere strategic, or having some staff on each floor to provide any information, it may affect a better traffic flow.

Taman Anggrek Mall in Jakarta holds an iconic status as a go-to destination for shopping and dining. Despite a few closed or vacant stores, it retains its unique ambiance, drawing in crowds, especially during the holiday season with its vibrant Christmas decorations, notably in the main lobby, featuring a grand Christmas tree and an array of food vendors, predominantly Korean cuisine. One of its main draws is the inclusion of IKEA within the mall premises, which magnetizes visitors for shopping, sightseeing, or simply indulging in delicious eats. The fusion of shopping experiences, festive décor, and the pull of renowned brands like IKEA crafts an enduring allure for both locals and tourists alike.

Best mall I have ever visited, found IKEA, Decathlon and Ice skating rink very attractive. The very spacious and central multi level lobby is attractive with colourful chandeliers.

They succeed with the renovation, especially the food courts area looks much better, clean and attractive. It's a good decision to compete the new ones which are only steps away.

Mal Taman Anggrek was very famous in late 1990 and called biggest shopping mall in South East Asia. Recently was not so many people shopping  when new shopping mall is around this area. Getting worst when pandemic time , lot of shop is close down. But now looks they do renovation to get the crowd back. Some tenants available : Decathlon , Metro , Ace Hardware ,  Hero , Uniqlo , KKV , Fitness First , Cinema XXI , Sport Station , Ice Skating and IKEA ( coming Soon ) , Starbucks , Marugame Udon , Din Tai Fung , Pizza Hut , ETC

There are lots of food to try here (quite expensive, averaging around Rp. 50k). There is an ice skating rink as well, which is a good place to go with your friends, family, especially with your crush/boyfriend/girlfriend (untuk modus2 hehehe). For clothes shopping, there is uniqlo, matahari, and decathlon which are quite big.

One of the old malls of Jakarta. Have a lot of childhood memories here. They've renovated the musholla, and it's now clean and comfortable. Sadly, their motorcycle parking is outside the main building.

Mall Taman Anggrek, nestled in the heart of Jakarta, is a shopaholic's haven offering a delightful blend of retail therapy, entertainment, and culinary delights. As I stepped into this sprawling mall, I was immediately struck by its impressive architecture and well-thought-out layout. The variety of shops in Mall Taman Anggrek is truly impressive. From renowned international brands to local boutiques, there is something to cater to every style and budget. Each floor is carefully organized, making it easy to navigate and explore the wide array of options available. The mall truly embodies the concept of a one-stop destination, providing a shopping experience that is both convenient and enjoyable.

last time i were here (oct 2020 weekend afternoon), the mall looks deserted, with many stores are closed (due to the pandemic?) which makes it feel somewhat desolate compared to the other one next door. however the mall itself is very well kept and clean, and I hope it could come back stronger after the pandemic is over.

I don't know who will not put at least 4 stars to this incredibly huge mall. You could potentially find all the well-built original products you are searching for. Stroll longer to find more.

Used to be the biggest shopping mall in South East Asia. I spent a lot of my younger years in this mall. Hopefully the mall could find it's best performance again soon. Quite sad to see this place was so quiet during this pandemic time.

The mall struggles to keep its tenants as many are vacant or closed since the early lockdown last year. Some part of the mall are dark and gloomy, and some ahop stryggles to keep alive. Staffs were great and helpful

One of the best mall in west jakarta. It has a balance of tenants, ranging from cheaper brands to more expensive brands. Has lots of space to discover and see, and many things to do like an ice rink to skate, a cinema, a gym, a book store. Lots of food tenants also.

One of Favourite mall in the area.. 👍👍 Eventhough many store are close due to the pandemic and not so crowded anymore but they trying to pick up more crowd by adding The Hub area, which is extension to the Taman Anggrek Residences (New Apartement of Taman Anggrek). They quite crowded here.. they have ranch market, restaurant, food court, and also live music.. it's nice and cozy to hear the live music, since nowdays not so much place provide the live music.. always eager to come back to Taman Anggrek Mall

Used to be one of the famous malls in Jakarta, especially West area. Thus, its fame fades away. Many stores are closed now. They still have the ice skating ring until now. There are few new stores like Ikea, Decathlon, KKV. Central Park mall beside this mall is more alive.

MTA used to be one of the biggest & famous malls in Jakarta, with 8 condo tower above the mall.. Nowadays MTA more empty, but new facade (bigscreen almost around the facade mall) and new tenants bring new color to the mall, that makes it still the best and one stop shoping mall. There're ice skating Sky Rink, children playground area, many variant of culinary, and other big merchants such as Matahari, Decathlon, Ikea, KKV, dll...

This used to be my favorite mall because it has everything that I need to but including the entertainments facilities, cineplex, ice skating and others. Due to recent natural disaster, flood at the beginning of year 2020 plus covid-19... finally I went there again for a birthday celebration with my besties. We went to a new shabu-shabu place in level 1 - hai di lao. The mall is quiet, clean and very few customers. Hopefully things can get better soon

Supposedly, one of the oldest and greatest shopping mall in Jakarta. It has since fallen out in favor of newer malls, though, causing its elegant interiors to look deserted and seems more spacious than it should be.

Once a luxury mall in Jakarta, today Mall Taman Anggrek is overshadowed by it's neighbors like Central Park or Neo Soho. It still maintains it's timeless luxury feel today with a huge variety of shops and restaurants. The fact that Mall Taman Anggrek has low attendance nowadays in an advantage for people who hate or avoid crowded places

old but having quite good number of unique and well composed stores variety. well spaced and organised for shop and stores to spend holiday but ONE ONLY LETDOWN is the parking lot spacing and management and position is really bad, so difficult to park if you have even medium suv, and because of this everytime people parking their car the other car at the back will have long que.

Spacious shopping mall. It is one of the oldest shopping mall in Indonesia. They have a nice and spacious corridors. But many of the space are vacant. Many tenants are leaving since pandemic. Because of that, there's some dead spots in this huge shopping mall. But on the crowded spot, it is quite a good mall. The parking spot is spacious.

This mall used to be the busiest mall in Jakarta back in 1990s. Personally, this is also my favourite as I used to go to this mall when I still lived in Indonesia. Unfortunately, I believe Taman Anggrek mall has lost its charm as it was quite empty when I went there in June 2022. Unsure if this caused by Covid-19 pandemic or because there are many newer shopping malls in the area. Apart from that, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from and heaps of activities for family and kids as well. In addition, IKEA recently opened a store here which in my opinion will bring more customers back.

One of the largest mall in Jakarta. Offers ice skating area that open everyday. Suitable for family recreation time, stalls are widely ranging from beauty, clothing, cosmetics, children playground, restaurants, café, salon.

Haven’t been here for more than 2 years. It seems that the mall hasn’t changed much. The shopping mall has been quite famous among Chinese from China, and lots of them live at Taman Anggrek Apartment. The mall is a little bit far from the place I stay, so seldom do I come here. One of the attractions is IKAE (purchase furniture and bistro on the fourth floor, show room and cafe on the third floor) is in this mall, and Decathlon is also available. Luckily Decathlon will be open soon in Surabaya. The food court on the fourth floor provides a wide range of typical Indonesian style main meal, you can also find plenty of Indonesian street food, such as serabi, rujak, bakso goreng, pempek, es pisang ijo, cubit, tahu gejrot, etc.

An average mall (by today's standards), the layout is a bit weird. Food choices are limited. The point of interests may only be IKEA and Skyrink. Toilets are clean and cozy. Don't see any accessible toilets or nursing rooms though.

It's apparent that the mall is dying, but it tries to hold itself together. The ice skating rink is amazing and much more compact than other ice skating areas I've had the pleasure of going to. Overall, the mall is a solid place for ice skating with some noticeably good restaurants to dine in afterwards, but lacks any other facilities for entertainment.
