Extremely happy we visited this place! The food was excellent, the best we’ve had in Croatia so far. I’d recommend the oxtail risotto, packed with flavour and cooked wonderfully. The waiter couldn’t have been more helpful - he talked us through all the wines, was really attentive and even made us whisky sours. The venue is also really cool, cocktails & wine were lovely and the value was really good especially when you compare to the quality & price you get in Dubrovnik old town. Tempted to go back tomorrow!!!

The best food we had in Split by far! I wish I could bring this place home with me. The staff was also very nice and accommodating for our toddler. We only had a chance to eat breakfast here and it was amazing; I wish we had a chance to try lunch. The fluffy eggs were our favorite item - perfection might not describe them well enough. The sunny side up eggs were very good, cooked and seasoned perfectly. And the banana bread was fantastic.

Bread was very very good, you can tell it was made fresh that day and with a cared for sourdough starter. I personally loved the bread with the seeds in it. We went for a late lunch and ate dishes from the starters side of the menu. The dishes listed on the Mains side of the menu sounded stunning be we weren’t that hungry for a heavier meal. We all want to go back for dinner before leaving Split. 10/10 would recommend.

The food was really good, portions were fine. The restaurant has a romantic dating vibe. Waiters are helpful and polite, and even though we (unknowingly) arrived not long before the kitchen would close, they made an effort to accommodate us. Prices are a bit too high for my taste though, the food and cocktails tasted good but I still left thinking I’d rather have spent less. I’m sure this is not a problem to everybody, so I still leave the 4 stars. Just be aware of the tourist prices.

We did not have reservations but they accommodated us swiftly which was a huge plus. The food was good but not amazing as everyone has hyped it up to be. I got the black risotto and my boyfriend got the sea bass for our entrees. They were yummy but not the best I’ve eaten of either dishes. The cod fish appetizer was okay and so was the prosciutto starter.

From the outside this place looks like a pretentious fine dining restaurant. In reality it offers amazing food, service and music in a pretty busy area of the city center with very good prices. The place is great, service is amazing and food is incredible, the best I have found in Croatia so far.

Surprises of the evening were the black risotto and the burrata which were both amazingly stellar dishes. The burrata was quite an amazing take on a traditional dish. Overall we really enjoy this restaurant whenever we’re in split, and it’s certainly a lovely space for some good food, whine and lovely ambiance.

Looking back at the pictures of our time at Bokeria makes my mouth water. Funny and oddly enough, AI suggested me this place. I asked AI as a joke, never though we would go through with it, but after seeing the menu, we were so delighted we decided to go back, line up and give it a try. Definitely cannot be mad at AI since we had such a splendid evening. Service was spectacular, our waiter was super professional and provided excellent recommendations. Everything we had, from wine, appetizers, entrees to desserts was immaculate. Oxtail risotto is one of my highlight from my trip in Croatia (even though we had a bunch of seafood risotto, it was nice having a delicious meat risotto). Basically, I don't trust AI much, but for this one, I must give it an A+ on it's recommendation!

Solid experience. Service was efficient, drinks were good and menu had good choices. We got the fried shrimp arincini (see other name on menu) - good. The oxtail risotto (good) and lamb shank (good). The risotto had a slightly u underdeveloped tomato sauce. Either that or they used too much sugar which is a big no no for anyone who makes their own sauce.

The best risotto we have had. & the Rib Eye steak - we have never had better steak, the truffle mash deserves an honourable mention, I could have eaten a plate of just the mash and been happy. If I could give more stars I would!they deserve 11!!

We were actually on our way to a different restaurant, found in our Croatia guide book. We’ll never know how good/bad that restaurant was, but we do know that we had a lunch experience at Bokeria we won’t soon forget. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and really cared (and were knowledgeable) about the wine and food they were serving. He recommended a white wine with our pulpo and sea bass and it was spot on. They serve mostly Croatian wines, and delicious ones at that. Not cheap, but worth every penny. This is NOT a tourist trap! The waiter also gave us some tips on where in Split to buy some decent Croatian wines. We were only in town for a day, but otherwise I would certainly have visited again. Loved the food, loved the wine, and the server brought it all together into a wonderful lunch experience.

We shared starters - Bombolini, an amazing and delicious prosciutto “croqueta” (bechamel base with almond and rosemary crust), and Codfish Spring Roll, a soft (not crispy) roll filled with cod and vegetables. Then main courses of Angel Hair pasta with cream and truffle, and Sea Bass on a cauliflower mash, both also very tasty. Glasses of local sparkling wine and a medium red (served slightly too warm) accompanied the food. Overall bill for 2 was 600k (€85) before tip.

Quick, easy and good breakfast. If you are sat outside you can expect to be busy as it is busy street where loads of people pass by so you might want to sit inside instead. There is only few breakfast choices and they are only simple meals. Prices are fair compared to other restaurants in the area.

As desert i had a chocolate truffle cherry cake which also was great, the dishes my family ordered were also all spot on. Prices are very fair for what you get, I would recommend the red house wine as it's a really good wine from north Croatia. Overall amazing place you don't want to miss, you have to make a reservation.
