Great live music! The man plays on acoustic guitar and sings with great voice, even Louie Armstrong 😃 The host is very helpful, staff is so cheerful but it felt like a bit of a rush to order dish. Because we came at 22h.waited maybe 15min to get a table. They offer you a drink while you wait. Excellent food, even for vegetarians and vegans they have great options (I'll post a photo). Prices are moderate, not too high. Cocktail Mojito was refreshing but mint was on top instead on the bottom so I crushed it with my paper straw. All in all experience is very good and we had fun!

Food is good! I tried one of the local specialty (Fish stew/soup) and it is absolutely amazing. Personally I am not a fish fan as I don't like the fishy smell and taste.. but this really surprised me as the broth is so sweet and fish is so fresh! It is a little crazy to try it during a hot day (you ended up sweating eating hot soup) so probably you want to have it over dinner (when is less scorching hot weather) Service is good! Nice outdoor seating area!

I ate at a few places in this square and this one was my favourite. Super friendly staff and simple honest food that’s well executed. Great stuff!

Amazing service! Loved chatting with the waiters about cultural foods and getting recommendations. Food was amazing! Left with a full stomach. Felt like a home cooked meal you can tell they care about the quality! I would go back if I come back to split

I had breakfast included here from staying at the Royal Piazza. I have to say, the coffee was actually wonderful! I was really pleasantly surprised. As was the lemon and mint sparkling water drink they made. Super sour, but refreshing. I ordered the overnight oats with chia seeds, but no chia was to be found. The oats were good, the fruit on top was probably the best part, but I likely wouldn’t order it again. The view of the restaurant is great and the people watching even better. Tables are shaded and covered.

Went twice in our week in Split. Fantastic service, lovely wine and great food. Veal risotto, cacio el Pepe and venison pasta were highlights. Lovely atmosphere sat on the square in the warm weather

Food is good, there are options for vegetarians and gluten free options, but also simple bacon and eggs. The cherry Strudel is very good. The waiter is nice and the vibe of the place chill. Prices are reasonable and the location good. We would come again.

Only had desert and wine, it was nice, plus great atmosphere and live guitar. But I had a heart attack at the price of the wine, which was also a ridiculously low pour.

Touristy restaurant directly at square. Nice outside seating with heating available (went there during March). Service was friendly and efficient, proactively offered two plates to share main dishes. Local ham and cheese were fine. Same holds for veal risotto. Some choice of local, bottled wines available. A little bit more pricy than at other spots but waiter was helpful with selection and had some idea about local wine areas and grapes.

The food is junk and overpriced. Uneatable fast food with the prices of a good restaurant. The burger was full of fat, mayo and ketchup. The French fries were fried in some unfresh oil. Do not recommend. Yet the service was okay. The kitchen was working till the night (other places in the location had already closed the kitchens).

I would not recommend this restaurant. There are so many better options within a 2 minute walk of this restaurant. It is always packed because of its location but trust me find another place. The service was not great and the food was okay.

Every year, we (my partner and me) come here and eat - and it never disappoints! The food is freshly made and the service is amazing. The place is located in the center of Split and is run by a local family. The prices are absolutely okay and everyone is very friendly.

Idk why this place doesn’t have more than 4 stars… the food is good, the bistro is small but very nice and the best of all is the service! The owner is a true owner and takes care of his patrons, he was incredibly friendly with my 18 month old daughter and even though the bistro is small he accommodated 10 of us. Honestly hands down if your in split come visit this guy and his bistro

Cozy, super service, we have been in Croatia for a couple weeks and this service was superior. Excellent food, beer and my picky kid loved the pizza.

Came here for breakfast and had the most wonderful start to my day . Roal is a wonderful happy person . Served us we a smile and the lady cooked us a lovely breakfast . I had a yogurt granola and toast . My husband had an omelette and it was delicious. Located in the centre . One must try this lovely place out .

We had a lovely breakfast here. There were a good range of options on the menu, service was friendly and efficient and prices reasonable. It was nice to look out over the square as we ate and it was also good to have a decent sized cup of coffee. It is quite cramped inside but when the weather is better outside seating is an option.

The host was very accommodating and lovely to the kids. The food was ok, a bit of a mixed bag. The Pasticada was nice and I would get it again. The eggs on the eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly, but the rest was a bit tough.

Shocking!!! Keep well away. The waiter knows as much about hospitality as Rolf Harris does about child protection. Miserable and rude. Coffee was cold, the toast had been cooked over a single match that clearly hadn’t been struck. Asked for cutlery and got the cold shoulder. Absolutely hideous place. The irony of being called ‘No stress’ isn’t lost on me. Most stressful breakfast experience of my life.

Calimari was rubber, veal risotto was so oily it ruined my stomach for days. Waiter refused to give suggestions because "Everything is good" when in fact the only good part of the meal was the beer. Would never return.

Went to Zinfandel food and wine bar first but they did not have much seafood nor wine flights. Ended up with Stressless Bistro. Ordered octopus salad, squid ink risotto and mussels. The two mains were good but a tad salty. Salad was ok as it was oil and vinegar. Local white wine recommended by the waiter was very good. 3.5*

Such a great experience! The chef knows what he/she's doing here. We had the butter and bread for starters. Creative flavours and an amazing surprise! Also with a fine selection of ham/chorizo , etc. The main courses were exquisite! We tried meat, fish and veggie. All to die for! Good wines to wash it down and we were curious about the desserts too. They were no disappointment. We had pavlova and cheesecake. To finish the restaurant offered a shot of a local liquor, on the house. The employees that served us were so friendly, polite and helpful!... And the cherry on top was the acoustic live music, played on the lovely terrace.

Never 5* made so much sense! What a perfect dinner! Staff is amazing , full of suggestions. Each plate another description. Very kind and always smiling. We had live music (amazing artist) outside area. We can smoke ! There are vegetarian options and God that was delicious. The starters with different butters and bread wow blowed my mind. It was our last night in Split and we drink and eat really quality food. It’s not cheap but it’s not expensive for what you get. Amazing! Free WiFi. Thank you all for the evening.

Delicious Veal risotto (you can't go wrong with this dish). This place is right in the middle of the square, great for drinks also with nice music. The owner was super friendly and really takes care of guests. I went as a solo diner and without reservation.

The burgers here are average but the prosciutto platter was definitely on another level. The quality of the meat was amazing. Great place with great views, ambiance, and service.
