There are three things synonymous with Split: Diocletians palace, Marjan park forrest and FC Hajduk Split! Since Hajduk was founded in Prague by Split students studying there (Prague is birthplace), you could say that Stari Plac is it's cradle. It is a historic monument and I am completely against heavily altering it! Yes, there is much room for improvement, but then again, this is THE place to see a rare and occasional rugby or baseball game in the glorious city of Split. Lastly, haters must know, we do not change for the sakes of tourists, tourists come here for the authenthic experience of the craziest and most beautifful city in the world! THIS IS NOT A TOURIST RESORT, THIS IS A LIVING AND BREATHING CITY SINCE 305 A.D. !!! Peace out!

Legendary place, not visually but spiritually

50 years ago I've started my Hajduk's fanship there

In the past named "field of king".When my generation was a tinagers stay on the old trees and watched the football matchs. It's legend place in Split.

Old place! Old football field which brings back memories of some bygone days of pride and glory of Hajduk Split. The days when Hajduk was top class in European football. It's now a rugby field where RC Nada plays ita matches. Nada is currently the best rugby team in former Yugoslavia. There are some bars and restaurants on the southern side of this object, if somebody is thirsty or hungry.

I was there at 4 summer nights dog show with trade stand. I have never seen so poor and arrogant organizer ever. Thats a pitty. So nice place.

Perfect pancakes, the best you can try in Split... so much variety that sometimes you get lost and don't know what to choose... start with coffee, it's amazing, one of the best I've ever tried, definetely would NOT skip out on this place :D
