When we booked the hotel online from London it asked us for any allergies or intolerances, which I appreciated because we can't have dairy and we were wondering where to have breakfast. When we got there they only had (sometimes) soy milk, but we couldn't have anything else on the buffet. Even the coffee was coming out of the same tube as the dairy milk, so that isn't recommended for my intolerance. We paid 18£ (non refundable) per day for 7 days for not being able to have breakfast, so getting breakfast somewhere else. Not to mention the hotel is a plaza, where there is also a church that rings the bell every hour from 7 am to 11 pm. Also, on the other corner there is a helicopter base, running all day and night (I got very scared the first night at 4am when a police helicopter landed on our roof). The shower in the room faced the corner of a wall and we couldn't turn it, so it was very difficult.

I've stayed for 7 nights in Superior Double Room. It was a brand new room (built in 2020). Very clean and nice. Sea view as promised. 7 minutes walking to sand beach Firule (my recommendation) 20 min to City Center. Breakfast is good (except coffee). Service is very friendly. Also in the evening you can have super tasty burger and beer in the burger bar. All staff (especially receptionists) are very kind and helpful. It was a couple of technical moments during our stay, but reaction was immediately and with smile:) So, highly recommend this hotel to stay in Split! Warmest greetings, Nikita

we slept in the hotel only one night and we enjoyed our stay. 5***** go to the staff, everybody was just super nice, maybe the best staff we met this whole summer! the hotel is great for a 3*** hotel, but a little bit too pricey (300 euros/night for a small room looking at the courtyard). and it is located in the complex of a catholic church so you'll be looking at a cross above the elevator, religious inscription at the backyard and listen to the church bell every hour during the day. the hotel is close to the beach, but far from the city centre so you'll have to call a taxi /Uber/Bolt ti get there. breakfast was simple but really ok, we also had lunch there and enjoyed the meal. the bed was comfy, the room was quiet, we slept like babies:) if you're not bothered by the christian signs around and want to be away from the tourist crowds during the summer, this is a nice place to stay.

10 minute walk from Lidl Supermarket. Friendly staff who speak English. Old croissants at breakfast everyday for 5 days straight. Old apples served at breakfast. Good coffee. The heating vent in the room made a lot of noise.

Just okay. Location is okay, rooms are okay, nothing special. Likely would find another hotel if I am ever back in split - would be worth the upgrade cost for a nicer place.

Sad looking gym , poor heating in the room leaking ceiling from the rain in corridor where we stayed. We stayed here for two nights. First night they had a school of young kids overnight. The noise was rediculous and nothing was done until I got angry.

We stayed overnight before our outbound flight back home. The hotel is far from all central attractions, but it is not an issue if you need a short stop in Split. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Everything is in good working order. The staff is kind and attentive.

Very clean and nice place, with great rooms, amazing view and great small beach in front. Staff is very professional especially Roko and Slaviša, great guys and very professional.

I had a reservation but is was canceled. Someone's fault caused my holidays, no mercy.

The first day is much better than first night. Very attentive reception staff - any concerns have been addressed. A wonderful secluded courtyard - very quiet now :)

Very clean hotel. Staff are friendly and helpful. The free breakfast in the morning is great and the hotel is a close walk to a public beach as well as some good local restaurants.

Had a great stay here. The location is a little bit outside the center, but it’s fully possible to take a walk down towards the center and there are many restaurants along the seaside there.

Nice three star hotel near sea, good parking, good breakfast but very bad coffee.

We enjoyed our stay in this nice and quiet hotel. A little bit outside of the city centre but only a half hour walk away from the old town. Free parking for cars. Great breakfast at the nice terrace. Friendly stuff and clean rooms.

Great bright rooms with a view of the beach. It was difficult to find the allocated parking, but the front desk staff helped us figure it out. Pretty far from downtown Split, but there are a couple of restaurants nearby. Hotel is behind a church, and we found it to be very quiet and well kept.

Awesome personnel , not too much to expect from breakfast and the place itself is like nothing fancy but close to the beach. Excellent restaurant for lunch and supper, great value for the price!

Not the best location if you're spending a lot of time in Split, but great for a quiet place to stay. Close to the water and lots of shops and restaurants. Very unique building and friendly staff.

Hotel Flaxx Burgers are the best. Thank you for saving us all the time. Unfortunately Hotel Flaxx didn’t have a scissor for me when I was in pain. But that’s ok

Hotel and staff were excellent. We had a great time at this hotel on our last trip in Split. The hotel is of excellent standard with great facilities. Beautiful interior design rooms with a fantastic view. The staff were also incredibly friendly and professional. Breakfast choices were excellent and dining area very nice. We hope to return soon.

Modern, clean, spacious rooms with sea view, nice food and kond staff

The hotel is just fine. We had some problems with the bathroom smelling a bit of sewage, but the personal took care of it when we told them. It's also a bit further from downtown Split than expected but it's quite cheap to take an Uber, which is a lot cheaper than using the regular taxi services. The burgers served at the hotel is on point though, and a must try if you pick pax hotel. The path to the beach is a bit longer than expected, but can be cut short via a stair case that isn't mapped via Google maps. I've included a screenshot explaining where it is. The nearby beach is a great snorkeling location, with lots of fishes to see.

Ordered a room with "1 King size bed". When we arrived the room we recieved were very tiny, and had 2 single beds. After talking to the woman behind the desk, she apologized, and told us she would fix it. After waiting 15 minutes in the bar, she came back and told us that it was fixed. We were then led back to the same room, but with the 2 beds pushed together, with a tiny, useless, piece of foam in between... The foam did absolutely nothing good, and we were unable to sleep near the middle of the bed the entire stay. The power plugs that where once beside the beds, were now hidden behind the 2 beds pushed together. Making them unusable, so we couldnt charge our phone overnight. We tried talking to the staff, but they were certainly not helpfull. And could'nt do anything for us. There are not a single picture online of the 2 wooden beds, so we had no possible way of knowing what we were getting into. So we were VERY disappointed in having to pay full price, for an entire week, stuck with a bed like that. ESPECIALLY when the order said, word for word, "1 King Size Bed"... Other than that several things in the small room was broken. So overall, we had a terrible experience. Will encourage everyone to find someplace else to stay in Split.

Very bad hotel with very bad and old food. You cant rest because the bells rings all the time!! Hotel Pax have nothing for children. It is on the top of the hill and is very dangerus way to the beach. Hotel dont have cold drinks, in the evening you can eat only hamburgers. It is a disaster!

Decent hotel, nice and clean, close to the beach, very good breakfast. The area around is not very suitable for walking out, because of the way the street is built, difficult to find a way to walk to the beach. And there is a church at the spot, si bear in mind the bell ringing is very loud, especially if the window is open.
