From the minute I was collected at the airport with a big smile following a very delayed flight - I knew the staff at Authentic were going to be great. Really friendly and helpful without always being in your space. The room itself was well equipped; modern interiors whilst still respecting the buildings original structure. It's about a 5 min walk from the crowded main strip, 10 mins from the beaches and quiet in the evenings. It was a touch overpriced for what you're getting - luxury this is not, but perfectly comfortable. Note - there is no parking and they take cash only.

Very nice small hotel in perfect location. It's located between the old city centre and the beach, with less than 5 minute walk to either. It's a small hotel with 'bed and breakfast' feeling, with a good breakfast. The room we got was ok size with a small pantry. Two walls are the original stone walls from the several century old house. But the room is still modern and recently renovated. The staff (and what I guess are the owners) are very pleasant and helpful. When we booked a tour before breakfast they organised sandwiches that were delivered to the room the day before, without us having to ask for it. All together an excellent stay, perfect location and very friendly staff.

Clean and spotless rooms. Fantastic location, everything is within 5-10 minutes of walking distance. Friendly courteous staff with big smiles. Note that they have multiple buildings within a block or two of each other, so it's not one big complex but that's what makes them authentic! Also note they take cash only.

Super smal breakfast area, and not mutch of a breafast to speak of! The room was nice but had its flaws, for example the bead feelt cheep. The staf was friendly, but did to mutch unnecessary explaining of simpel things!

Me and my friend booked here out of desperation as we were scammed by another hostel. Nevertheless, so glad I booked here last second, very good staff and rooms were spotless at all times!

We stayed for 6 nights and it was really enjoyable stay. The hotels location is great, few minutes to the center and to the beach. Staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice, everything you could ask for and it's nice that there is not 50 other people eating at the same time. Rooms were clean and they are accessible from your own door on the side of the building.
