I
thought
this
B&B
was
fantastic,
and
would
definitely
recommend
it
to
anyone
spending
a
few
days
in
Split.
As
it's
just
barely
in
the
boundaries
of
the
UNESCO
World
Heritage
Site
that
covers
all
of
old-town
Split,
it's
very
walkable
to
all
parts
of
the
old
town
(5
minutes
or
less),
plus
Marjan
Hill,
the
Ferry
terminals,
and
even
Bačvice
Beach
(about
30
minutes
away).
I
was
fortunate
enough
to
get
a
room
in
the
loft
on
the
top
floor,
affording
wonderful
views.
The
rooms
are
small
and
cozy,
definitely
good
for
two
people.
It
was
nice
to
have
a
fridge
in
the
room
as
well,
because
Croatian
craft
beer
is
very
solid
-
it
can
also
be
found
at
the
Konoba
(bar)
at
street
level,
under
the
B&B.
The
staff
at
this
hotel
were
excellent,
from
the
Manager
to
the
Konoba
Staff
to
housekeeping;
unfortunately
some
of
our
luggage
was
delayed
on
our
flight
into
Split,
but
they
were
very
accommodating
in
helping
us
deal
with
this
headache.
I
couldn't
speak
highly
enough
of
Villa
Matejuska,
and
should
I
ever
return
to
Split,
I
would
love
to
stay
here
again.
