What a great food experience in Split. Amazing food with great wine selection from all over the world. Gnudi with truffles are the best l had in my life and home made sour bread is to die for. Cozy atmosphere and excellent staff makes you feel like you are invited as a special guest at their home. Highly recommend!

The knowledge, experience and ingredients that are put together in this restaurant places them on top of anything we have ever seen in Croatia. Congratulations and looking forward to future menu endeavors.

We had an exceptional dining experience at Krug with their 11-course menu tasting. Each dish was a masterpiece with finely picked micro-local ingredients, from sea to continent. Every single element of each course is made in-house. We had our courses paired with wine and some non-alcoholic pairing, which was out of this world. The presentation was exquisite, and the attention to detail was evident in every course. The staff's knowledge and passion for the cuisine added to the overall enjoyment. The ambiance was elegant and cozy, making it a perfect setting for such a culinary journey. Each morsel at the table was a new experience with different utensils and explanation and presentation. Unbelievable!

Such a exquisite experience! Every dish was pure perfection, sheer excitement and always not what you expected after taking a look at the menu. Full recomendation from me! You need to come here, you’ll never regret it, worth every euro.

We had such a great experience at this new restaurant. From the ambiance, philosophy and friendly staff to great food and drinks. You can see how passionate they are about what they do and how they combine so many different ingredients in their dishes. I ended up loving food I usually don’t even like. Their fermented drinks are also very good. Absolutely recommend this place, it’s really one of a kind.

no-such-restaurant-in-the-region. After visiting and dining in most (or all) of the best (rated) restaurants in Split, Dalmatia and Croatia, KRUG restaurant wins by a landslide. All other restaurants, Michelin starred and Michelin recommended aside, but Krug just takes the cake. Though I am not a fan of it’s “air of exclusivity” I have to say that I enjoyed my time as one of few guests that night. And the interior design really makes you focus your attention on the main counter, open kitchen, and the food! During 150 minutes experience, their sommelier explaing the way they age meat and fish, way they buy, collect and pickle fresh food to use later in their state-of-the-art-dishes. Their wine selection is very substantial and you will not go wrong if you choose the fusion menu. The way the entire crew is synced in delivering a treat for the eyes and the palate is exquisite. We had a chance to know the main chef Karlo and learn about his philosophy and the idea of a restaurant that Split needed but never really deserved or appreciated. The food combinations might seem odd, for as a layman it was difficult for me to comprehend how you can have combucha in the meal. Honestly, my greatest doubt was seeing carob in a desertc but the doubt was soon replaced by a sheer thrill! The interior, wine selection, service and ultimately the food will give you the experience like no-such, since this kind of restaurant is nowhere to be found in hundreds of miles and will, in no time, earn its stars. Not to delude you, it will cost you, but it will be money well-spent

I don’t know that I could describe a more perfect evening. The attention to detail is mind blowing. The ingredients play the most amazing dance with your tastebuds. Chef Karlo is magic.

Great food that is farm to table as much as they can, great cocktails with amazing wine pairing. Staff is so down to earth and so friendly. They deserve at the minimum 2 Michelin stars.
