We were staying nearby and arriving late needed somewhere local. This was the only consistently well reviewed place within a short walking distance and it does not disappoint. Clearly well liked by the locals but very quiet when we arrived (2030 on a Tuesday). The staff were very helpful explaining the menu (which is in Croatian only) but better than that the chef offered to make the meals to our liking, adding shrimp to my wife's Carbonara and making my pizza a little spicy to my liking. He was incredibly accommodating. Also the decor is wonderful, it looks recently decorated with a bare brick feature wall, solid wooden furniture and with the pizza oven made a feature of visible at the back of the restaurant. A small place with about 10 tables, it serves pizza, pasta, fresh salads and it all tastes wonderful.

!!!!Avoid this place!!! The worst pasta in life. We ordered 2 pastas. Gamberi and Sant Antonio. The sauce was the same in both and it was so spicy that our mouth was on fire. Each piece had to be washed down with beer. I didn't find mushrooms or cream in Sant Antonio pasta (I was assured that they were there, but our pastas were identical in sauce, I even found pieces of spaghetti in mine) The shrimps were small and of poor quality. The composition of the paste does not correspond to the composition written in the menu No one commented on the absence of Mushrooms to me. They offered to cook a new pasta 20 minutes before closing and then blamed why I didn't immediately ask for it. It would be fair to remove this from the receipt, I wouldn't even want their remade pasta Pasta should not be so spicy, the cook should follow the recipe written in the menu. One of the staff said he was a beginner, but believe me, he didn’t look like a beginner. It was rude The worst experience in this city. A ruined evening, money spent and a mouth full of burns. Maybe they're good at pizza, but don't take pasta!! UPD First of all, we are not Russians. Secondly, we paid for everything ordered in your cafe. No one has asked you for any discount. Thirdly, why are you cheating? I haven't even eaten half of this terrible pasta! I am changing my score to all 1. It's horrible. When restaurant is decent, I rate it perfectly. Yours is not worthy of even 1

Very good pizzas and burger ! Peperoni pizza was very delicious and texture was great ! Totally recommend this place ! The prices are around 50HRK. The entrance is not visible at first glance, it is on the left side (narrow corridor and white doors).

I ate Pizza everywhere on this planet. I ate Pizza at places that the italia ambassador recommended, run by italians. This here is still by far the best pizza that i ever tasted. From the flour that is used to proper dough rising time all the way to the crust. Then the sauce and the Mozarella. Everything is not just authentic, its perfection.the owner has every reason to be proud of his craftsmanship. Next time i will go for some pasta and dry aged beef .looks already stunning in the fridge. It's a quiet,cozy place and we had the luck that the owner/ chef was also waiting our table. He speaks english, german and logically croatian.

Really nice food and nice service! As soon as we entered the restaurant the waiter/owner (?) recognized we were talking german and also immediately welcomed us and took our orders in german. Generally, we felt really welcome and had a nice time. The pizza was one of the best I've ever eaten. Everybody of our group, including vegetarians and a vegan, were really happy!

Cheap prices, very clean pizzeria. Staff is warm and always there if you need them. And most important food is 5/5

First of all I very rarely leave reviews on anything. That being said everything about this pizzeria/stake house was perfect in my opinion. The waiter/chef/owner yes all in 1 was super friendlly. The place is not very big but very cosy and feels like at home. And don't even let me start on pizzas. I ate alot of different pizas in my life but this one rank arguablly 1st in my personal list. I have nothing but praises for this pizzeria/stake house. Will definatelly return there when we pass by.

We ate pasta Carbonara and pizza Mortadela. Food was great. Nice, polite and smiling young staff. Overall experience is excellent, prices are more then fair, check the menu. One advice for the owner, you have a great terrace but do invest in few ventilators for next summer, it is quite hot :)

Yes, yes, YES! Authentic and delicious. So good that we came back 2 days later and ordered the exact same thing. Pasta Bolognese and Margarita Pizza (for the child). Small business at its best. High quality ingredients, excellent service and when we came back a second time we were immediately recognized and welcomed in with a robust "hello"! I didn't add any photos, will try, but my mouth is watering while we sip wine and wait for our dinner. Crazy affordable and quaint. I wish this place was back home in the USA because we would be regulars. I blew it, wrote the review while we were waiting and when it came, we started eating. I told you it was amazing!

We went there based exclusively by the google ratings. We were in the nearby Mall of Split, and didn't want to go to the McD or BK. Pizzas were very good, maybe not the best I ever had, but very, very good. The place isn't in the touristy area, so they have only 2 options: go cheap or go quality. They chose both: moderate prices with good quality. Go there if nearby! They have more than pizzas, try their (rump)steaks, they have a maturing chamber. Didn't try that. Maybe next time.

Definitely worth trying. Prices are quite low related to other places in Split, atleast from our perspective. Pizza is tasty, but pastas are what we came back for. Carbonara and chicken penne were our favorites and would recommend it.

Delicious food and friendly people 🤩❤️. We had the pepperoni pizza and the cheeseburger 😘👌🏼 both where espectacular. Also the coffee is really good.
