This place is incredible! The meal was well served, cozy place and the owner is very kind. I really enjoyed the experience and I recommend to everyone that are staying in the city. If you are looking for something really tasty, local and affordable: this is the place!

Great choices for vegetarian food, sritan grill, tofu salad or just tasty vegetables, excellent services and great ambiance. I sat inside, but there is also outdoor seating. Would recommend :)

Very very good food and service, ambiente so so but all in all very good place

We were almost the only guests. The waiter, brought wrong drinks, the lemonade is not lemonade but lemon and water (oké maybe here it is lemonade?). He forgot the appetisers and brought the main dish out. We had tuna and calamari which were good and tasty. Portions don't include sides which makes it expensive. 2 drinks, 2 main course for €68 not included fries, potatoes etc. Ordered separately fries €7 . I think it's a lot. Wouldn't recommend, overall experience 2 stars, food 4 stars

This place was an absolute delight. The food was great, the portions were big, the staff were absolutely wonderful. We met a waiter there called IVAN and he was incredible, he was super polite and gave us guidance on what to do in the city. The place is cozy and relatively quite. Food suggestion: try the Prosciutto platter. Thank me later 😊

Amazing experience! Location is in the center, close to Diocletian palace, colorful exterior and interesting sight. For sure will return for great food and wine, but most of all, for great and friendly service!

Tried here for dinner. We got the warm fish platter for two. It was huge, and could have easily fed 3-4 people. The variety of seafood was nice. The octopus was overcooked though and it wasn't very flavorful. The vegetables and mussels were our favorites. Got a cosmopolitan and didn't really care for it, as it had an unique flavor. Servers were very friendly and attentive.

We ordered grill fish and a veggie burger. Both the dishes were above average. We didn't like the spinach which was give on side of the grill fish (maybe it's just our taste). The burger was very good with potato and vegetable patty. Giving 4 stars as it could be little more saucy. The prices are reasonable. Staff was good and friendly.

Absolutely delicious, some of the best lamb I've ever had. My wife's steak burger was amazing & my daughter's pork was also as good. The waiters were very polite & attentive, would 100% come again.

Wow, hands down this was one of our favourite meals we’ve ever had. We said we will be definitely talking about this for a long time. The fish platter was insane and delicious, shared it between 3 people! Plenty of amazing fresh food. Also the vegetables that came with were delicious. We also ordered a side of gnocchi which was insanely good! The waiters we’re also so so nice and friendly! Highlight of the trip. Hvala

Amazing flavours. Felt just like homemade food. We sat outdoors where views were not so great but the food made up for it. I ordered a grilled seabass. And was rich in flavours along with all salads. Brilliant food

I came here with my partner and tried some local cuisine which was a Black Cuttlefish Risotto which was amazing. The staff were also polite and incredibly helpful, especially our waiter Leon.

They are big on meat! Great food and unbelievably friendly staff! Good place to be and eat :)

The restaurant was busy but we managed to get a table. I’d advise booking ahead if you can. We ordered a rib eye steak and the lamb chops and they were big portions and delicious. They both came with roasted Mediterranean vegetables too which were so tasty. They also cooked the meat how we wanted it which was great. Sorry, we were so excited to eat that we didn’t take photos!

The waiter was really friendly and polite. We ordered lamb chops and the beefsteak. As you can see, the amounts are generous! Both dishes were absolutely delicious! They had live music, which added a very nice touch. We want to go back today!

We really enjoyed our lunch here, easily one of the best meals we had in Split. The grilled octopus and tuna steak that were served on a bed of Dalmatian-style Swiss chard and side of grilled vegetables were delicious, both perfectly cooked and seasoned. Simple dishes but done well. Friendly service from the server as well. Definitely worth a revisit.

We went here because of the good reviews but were fairly disappointed. We had the tuna stew and a chicken breast with fries. The food was average and wasn’t in any way decorated nicely (see pictures). I asked whether it would be possible to switch the fries for sweet potatoes since they were on the menu (and would have been willing to pay the extra) but it wasn’t possible. Location is nice and central and service is friendly but the prices are too expensive for the food we received (especially the tuna stew which was around 22 euros).

The place is rather small but the fish! Oh it was soo good. Here I had one of the best grilled fish I ever had. Also the staff is very nice a friendly.

Pleasure to visit. Great service, the waiters were friendly.There was no problem with seating our bigger group of 10 people. The food was delicious. One of the best restaurants in Split. P.S. if you are in bigger group like us and you want to pay separately, you need to say it before the first order. Waiters were very willing to give us each own account.

It’s very difficult to find a place to eat in Split, without either getting robbed on the prices, or totally stressed out by the crowd of fellow tourists getting crazy about their vacations. So Downtown Grill is all right in all aspects, and we are happy to have eaten there in a laid-off atmosphere :)

A great place, slightly away from the boardwalk and the center of the old town, but thanks to that the prices are also much more favorable. Very tasty and fresh food, large portions, friendly service. The menu is very varied so everyone will find something for themselves, it also changes during a year so dont suggest only about the pictures at Google. During our stay in Split we visited it twice and if I ever come again, I will probalby visit it again as we spent a lot of time looking for a restaurant in Split's old town that is both highly rated and have reasonable prices and this place is probably the best in this aspect.

True 5* place! It's definitely worth visiting. Live music, tasty local cuisine, great sort of drinks, awesome service. great job guys 👏 P.s. they will serve also a water for your dog without asking for it.

Extremely poor service. Unprofessional staff hanging around the front of the restaurant. Sat down and ordered after what we was made to felt like we was taking ages. ( it took us 5 minutes to take a look at menu, normal time) once the starter had arrived I had decided to cancel the mains as felt so uncomfortable and disappointed. After the staff knew we was ready to leave they was nothing but rude. They must think we are stupid not to understand simple language when referring to “English” and utter rudeness when paying bill of nearly €40 for a simple cheese & ham starter. To add, after cancelling the main and asking for the bill they asked us if we would like “more wine” if that is not an insult then I’m unsure what is. If you are looking for a great meal Ciri Biri Bella is the place to go. I have never had such a wonderful meal with beautiful staff. Hate to leave a bad review for anywhere but I would hate for others to go here and feel as we did. Bella is booked for our last day to avoid disappointment elsewhere.
