Whilst the local cat kept us entertained, the food didn't live up to the price. €35 for an overly-salty steak. It's nice to sit next to a 3rd century temple, but the service was poor, even when compared to less expensive places, and the food was nothing special. I wouldn't recommend it when there are other options nearby to try

Had an INCREDIBLE time here!! Not only was the food delicious, but also Samanatha, our waitress, was super kind, helpful, and just the absolute best. Highly recommend coming!!

We had a delicious ribeye steak and tuna steak with sweet potato wedges and grilled vegetables with wine to enjoy it with. We ended our meal with a warm chocolate lava cake with homemade vanilla ice cream and they even gave us some extra ice cream and picotta cherries on the house. Staff were absolutely brilliant and gave us top class service. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who's in Split to leave satisfied and happy! They have lots of seafood, meat, and veg options!

Very good food and fine vine! We had a tuna steak and shrimp risotto sith a nice bottle of vine. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was perfect. We loved the location and there was even live music! You will pay a little but more here but it is definitely worth it!

My all time favorite meal of the entire trip! I ordered the zuchinni and cheese ravioli which was to die for! My husband ordered the sea bass and that was also incredible. To end, we ordered the chocolate lava cake with ice cream which we inhaled! The service and ambiance at this restaurant was wonderful and we absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Split! If it tells you anything, we wish we had gone earlier in the trip so we could have dined again.

This is one of the Best sea food restoran in Split, located in the heart of Dioklecijan place, right next to the Temple od Jupiter, old more then 1700 year, among the streat let me pass, the smallest street in the world, food is amazing and staff also, especiali Zlatko

This is a new restaurant in my city so I had to go right away to see if it was like one of the many average restaurants or something stands out and I have to admit that I was really blown away by both the food and the service and I hope it stays that way. The ambience and location should not even be praised because it is really divine as befits such a place. Simply wonderful in every way

Stopped here for breakfast. Nice place with friendly staff. A good serving of avocado and eggs on toast. Fair price. Started as a quiet courtyard but tours started arriving about 10am.

A bit overrated place. Ordered octopus salad but got onion salad with few octopus instead. Sea food didn’t seem and taste fresh. Service was fast but thoughtless about certain things - no additional plate for shells and we got to open the bottle of wine by ourselves.

Our first night in Split and we ate here. The food was amazing and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Would definitely recommend.

We wanted to have dinner, but the evening was a disappointment... Too expensive, high prices, in exchange for poor quality, I do not recommend it at all! Virgin Mojito = sugar water, a few slices of lime, the food did not bring the expected quality at all, for that much money, a main course should not be like this!

If you are seeking for the sea food restaurants in Split then you should try temple kitchen. I’ve had a black pasta with spiny lobster and I enjoyed it. Staff is really kind. My recommendations are on the point!

The ambient is on the point! You know those crowded restaurants in which you can’t hear your thoughts this is the complete opposite of that. Enjoying the view of the Jupiter temple while eating sea food. I made a mistake take the bottle of wine because you will wish to stay there whole day. Trust me!

So happy that I ate here because there is variety of vegetarian options. Tofu stew with seitan is something that is making me come back to this place. Got a little tipsy while sipping good quality cocktails. It wasn’t crowded and it’s not time consuming if you are in the rush.

Best sea food restoran in Diocletian palace,staff is very helpful and fast especially Zlatko. Food is excelent and not to expensive. Strong recomended.

The food was just ok and very overpriced. 30 € for a plate of grilled squid with tasteless chard on the side, 17 € for fried squid rings and fries, around 10-12 € for starters. Very touristy restaurant. The staff was very nice at least.

Very nice restaurant we’re the service was very nice en the food was excellent. Price was more then okay, considering the quality, location and the fact we had also order a bottle of good wine. Would recommend this place!

Based on all the incredible reviews, we chose this restaurant for dinner. Definitely did not disappoint. Wine list is not extensive by the glass, but the food is fabulous. We had two different pasta dishes that were large, flavorful, creamy with a good amount of fish. Dinner salad was fresh and bread was amazing (baked fresh daily). Prices are reasonable for the area.

Part of my Rib eye was rare or even raw although I asked for a Rib eye medium. I ate a small part of it that was better cooked, and then when I got to the raw part I complained to the staff. They acknowledged but didn’t offer to change the dish, discount or anything in return. It is a shame as the price is very high (€32) and definitely not worth it.

Everything is beyond delicious. Service is superior. I'd like to give more than 5 stars.

Wonderful fish platter for two. It looks like a tourist trap but it really isn't. It was also quiet at 9pm on Saturday which raised alarm bells but the food was honestly fantastic. Service was also great.

A relatively new restaurant in Split. We had two very tasty pasta dishes, the ravioli with prawns and the vegetarian version with zucchini. Waiting staff were very friendly and offered a high chair before we asked. Would definitely recommend.

A nice and cozy place in a crowded area in Split. If you want to have dinner in a beautiful (I would even say romantic) place and enjoy delicious food - this restaurant is for you. I recommend to try the octopus salad (it was so good!) and ravioli with shrimps. Prices are ok and portions are quite big. So for me to eat the whole octopus salad and ravioli after that was quite a challenge 😅 Thanks to my friend who helped me though I didn’t want to share because the food was soo good! Also I should mention the quality of service and friendly waiters. We didn’t wait long for our food to be served.

In the heart of the old town! Polite and friendly staff. The food was very delicious, i had the tuna steak which was perfectly cooked with crunchy sweet potato fries and my wife got the shrimp ravioli. We also tried the black risotto for the 1st time and it was so good.They use High quality ingredients!Fully recommend!

Absolutely delicious! I had the mussels and crab gnocchi, they were both excellent. The area is nice too, a little courtyard that’s not on a main path.

MUST VISIT. Creative and freshly made food, which had good flavor and not doused with oil and salt (to compensate for quality). Kitchen team and front of house are personable, attentive, relaxed and knowledgeable.

10 out of 5 one of the best bang for buck and taste experience I have had. The steak was perfectly cooked. The the lamb almost brought a tear to my eye. The vegetables where fresh and not over cooked. The chicken couldn't be better unless it was imported directly from Valhalla! I have no words to describe how happy this meal made me. Fare warning they suggest the kings plate is for two people, I took on the challenge alone. I honestly believe they ment 4. I survived by myself but I slept for almost 12 hours. It was the best sleep I've had in years. Last but not least was the staff they are friendly and knowledgeable not only about their own business but the surrounding area. I wish that I could bring this whole establishment back home to Chicago with me!

What a great find! I loved the tuna steak! The sea bass was a hit too! My friends also loved the meat platter.
