We arrived earlier at the hotel, and the friendly hosts offered us breakfast while our room was being cleaned. The breakfast was varied with numerous Dalmatian delicacies, the best cheeses and incredible desserts with dried figs, walnuts, almonds... There was an abundance of all kinds of fruit. From the owner of this wonderful family hotel, we learned a lot about the history of the city of Split and this beautiful historic house from the 18th century, which was renovated two years ago with such care and with an incredible sense of decorum. Our room was modern and functionally equipped, and the bathroom was large and impeccably clean. In the fall of this year, we plan to spend at least one weekend at the Camera Hotel! Thank you for the wonderful experience of our stay in Split!

What a find! This place was in the perfect location- close to everything, but tucked away in a quieter area. The decor was beautiful, accommodations were comfortable, plenty of room and perfect for our family of four. The breakfast each morning was delicious as well, hope to make it back soon!

We were given room 102. Short bed with left mattress sagging in the middle. AC didn’t cool the sleeping area and only slightly cooled the air in the area close to the AC/window despite setting it to 16 degress for the full night. The room was constantly very humid and with a wet and sour smell. You are woken up in the morning by a severe cigarette stink from the courtyard filling the room. Room was also very dirty all-over and long dark hair on the floor. I honestly have no idea why the positive reviews of this hotel. This is a really bad and expensive hotel and should be avoided at all cost.

Possibly the best boutique hotel we visited this year, particularly in terms of service. The staff was extraordinary, very helpful and hospitable, catering to our every need. Breakfast is delish, thanking Branka, who makes spectacular chia seeds and fresh fruit yogurts. What a treat! Pictures of the hotel truly represent the ambiance, overall a 10/10!

My two friends and I booked a room here last minute after not being happy with our previously arranged accommodation. We arrived quite frazzled and stressed but we immediately put at ease by the warm welcome we received from the staff at Camera Heritage Hotel. Our room was perfect for our two night stay, and the bed was really comfortable. We loved the extra touches such as the Easter treats left in our room 🥰 The breakfast was lovely and varied and set us up well for a day of exploring.

Was a bit hard to navigate to, but I highly recommend..good price for a two room hotel and walk to everything..staff was phenomenal and breakfast was really well done!

We stayed with our 2 daughters for 3 nights at this boutique family owned hotel in June/ 2023. The staff was friendly and attentive. The hotel had nice decor and was very clean. Location was great -near bars, restaurants, supermarket, laundry. We enjoyed breakfast every morning at the hotel. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

The Camera Hotel is a new hotel in Split and was exactly what I needed after a long day of traveling. It's staff is super nice and friendly and it's rooms are generously big. I just needed a queen, but got a room with two adjoining rooms that could fit 4 people. Breakfast was also lovely and the location can't be beat! Only thing worth noting is that the shower is difficult to use and ended up spraying everywhere. Also a bit of a sour smell in the bathroom, otherwise, comfortable experience!
