Hidden gem outside the center and perfect spot if you want to enjoy your meal in Split away from the tourist crowds. We had 5 courses with wine paring and loved it! Delicious food & excellent wine choice at very reasonable price.

Had prawn carpaccio, smoked mussels risotto, fish stew and pork belly. Food and service was excellent. Parking was the downside and the road in was abit complicated.

What an ABSOLUTE Diamond in the Rough. We were literally trying to find a beer bar and accidentally stumbled across this (unofficial) Michelin star quality restaurant. They seriously will get their star soon. Food quality, flavor, presentation was all 5 Star. The wait staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Prices were incredibly low for this quality. Unreal. We fully expect this gem to be discovered soon and it will become impossible to book. But cheers to Mario and team. What a dinner!!!

Very tasty food with state-of-the-art preparation. Restaurant located in a residential area in the city center but far from tourist attractions. The starters and first courses are tasting size, but the main courses are generous. The staff was very kind. however we had to wait a bit longer than normal during the service. Shrimp carpaccio Lamb salad Bass sea Beef ... And deserts! Enjoy

What a lovely experience! The attention to detail in the flavours and plating of the food was amazing. I have been to plenty of restaurants and this is some of the nicest food I have had and for reasonable prices. The restaurant is owned by a married couple which gives the place a wholesome feel and you can see everyone cares about the experience of the customers. Overall such a great place, if you go to split you must definitely try this place !

Split needed a place like this. A place that offers beautiful food, friendly service and one of a kind ambiance at an affordable price. The food was just magnificent. I am actually very happy that this kind of place is not in the city centre but in a lovely hood like Trstenik. They are also dog friendly 🥰 Thanks and we will for sure be back!

What?!? Did not expect to find this little gem here in this setting. The staff is super, the food is fresh local produce, made with passion and the tableware very classy and quirky. Get the fine dining experience without choking on the bill- so come on, make this one to try.

This restaurant is less than a 10 minute walk from the Radisson Blue hotel where we were staying. Situated in a residential area surrounded by apartments, it is a very unassuming little place. Do not be fooled. The menu/food is spectacular. The staff are very friendly. This is truly fine dining without the fine dining cost. Thank you everyone for a fabulous meal.

Very good restaurant, no wonder it is mentioned on Michelin guide too. Food is very tasty and sophisticated. Starters could be rated at 10 (we took beef tartare and Sea Bass tartare). Local made bread was excellent. I took fish soup and fish stew for main courses. These I can rate - 8 and 9. Portions were so big you could take several dishes. But the most impressive - price/performance! Prices for such quality of food indeed were low.

Amazing food and great staff. Definitely a hidden gem. If you like fine dining, you should give it a try. The location is the only thing that didn’t impress.

BEST restaurant in Split!!! We were really amazed with the food quality, professional and friendly service and a great relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious and the prices are affordable for this level of quality that you get. The chef came to check on us if everything is as we thought it would be and to gain feedback from us. Items on the menu change with the seasons which means we will definitely visit again to try more delicious stuff… Overall experience 10/10. P.s I have only one picture of the lamb salad because later I forgot about the phone and pictures.

Overall I am glad I have ate here. Open kitchen concept indicates that chef has no fear of showing how he prepares the food. Another good thing is that you wait for food since very little is prepared beforehand. Plates visually are pleasing to the eye and food taste amazing. Swiss chard is bit on buttery side for my taste, size of the portions are corresponding to the prices Off the usual restaurant grid pattern (this is good thing). Make the effort and visit this place.

Absolutely incredible. Came here twice during my time in split and had 4 portions of the beef tartare and sea bass tartare. This is probably the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. Spent about 40 EUR for 2 apps, a main and 2 drinks. Incredible value. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful culinary experience in Split!

Definitely our favorite place we visited in Croatia! I'm so glad we went here on our first night in Split so we got a chance to go again!The food is amazing and the owner really takes you on a culinary journey. It's a really great experience from the minute you walk through the doors. Would recommend to anyone staying in or around split to visit. And as a bonus, it is excellent value for money - I would happily pay a lot more!

This great hidden gem is local authentic bistro with world class attention to details. Bistro is friendly and easy going with very professional approach to the customer. The owners , young couple are very experienced professionals and every course was presented to us during serving. From unique serving pilates, food introduction to food of perfection. You have food experienced of Michelin star restaurant in friendly atmosphere of bistro. Wine list is also great with great selection of local and foreign wines. We tried for first time Amber wine! This place is great value for money and will leave strong impression on You

We've been in Split for just under a month and we have been mostly disappointed with our (15+) eating experiences.. until we visited Bome. In our experience, the care and attention to detail this team have in delivering their craft is second to no other in Split. Each dish we were presented with was accompanied with a back story and every request we made was gladly accommodated (even on a busy Saturday night). Chef even took the time to proudly show us the sourdough starter he uses for the 2 of the 3 different breads on offer. The home made pasta with beef cheek was cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection, as was the steak and paired goats cheese potato stack. Personally I could have taken a heavier hit of rosemary in the focaccia but perhaps that would have overpowered other more delicate flavours elsewhere. We were very full after sharing 3 large dishes (we couldn't decide) so we weren't sure about dessert but I had a feeling it was going to be worth the effort. Without spoiling the surprise too much, desserts aren't quite what you expect from the descriptions on the menu.. but well worth squeezing in. The presentation of dishes is also carefully considered, we saw several tables served with very intriguing smoke filled domes, which gave off a lovely woody/charcoal smell when set free during serving. The whole experience from start to finish was above and beyond expectations, I truly believe this team has their sights set on a Michelin star. If you're visitng Split old town, do yourself a favour and spend €5 on a taxi to Bome, your stomach, and wallet will thank you.

There are some experiences where 5 stars just aren't enough. This restaurant exceeded all expectations, in terms of quality and service. From the outside, the urban setting does not prepare you for the high end dining encountered within. Once inside, it's another world, the open kitchen allows you to watch each dish being prepared with intense care and attention to detail. The wine selection also deserves a mention, our Sauvignon Blanc was up there with the best NZ wines.

The restaurant was truly an experience of it’s own. We had a 3 course meal and every dish was a different story. We also had some wine, and after the meal asked the sommelier for some recommendations for Croatian wines, so they sold us a bottle of their own from the restaurant. Cheers to the chefs and the amazing staff who made our evening. If you’re in Split definitely check this place out. The prices are not high for the quality and creativity of the dishes and the amazing service from the waiters and the wine expert. Thank you Bome team❤️

The dishes like art. The presentation is elegant and beautiful. The black risotto is very delicious and full of flavors. Sea bass is so so yummy and fresh. Definitely have to come back again and again.🥰🥰🥰

We travel and eat out in many places. Some of very high quality and expense. This beautiful boutique restaurant is one of THE BEST places we have ever eaten. The chef/owner, his team, the atmosphere and the whole dining experience was absolutely perfect. A very, very talented chef/artist of food, with impeccable flavour. Our photos do not do it justice.
