This is one of my favorite places to go!! I go here often. Always have excellent service and friendly staff. The food is phenomenal. Huge portions and very high quality. I always tip the waitress and don't forget to buy the cooks a drink too!! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you'll be hard pressed to find better food at any price. Feel free to split with someone if you aren't a big eater! 🍻😍

Took my grandfather to get lunch, fish and chips and he got the sirloin. Fries were crunchy, fish was awesome and he was satisfied with his steak.

Dave’s definitely did not disappoint on a Wednesday night!!! 10/10 Recommend! Outstanding Bacon Burger, kid got Chicken strips and momma got Fish and Chips!! Drinks are also On Point!!! Swing in to this little gem hidden in the valley!

From the outside I might drive by and not think twice about. Went there with my kids after Hoopfest. The food was excellent and the service was even better!! The other patrons were even friendly. If I lived around here I would probably become a regular.

GF had the BLT with onion rings. She absolutely loved her sandwich. I had the broiled chicken with bacon pepper Jack cheese. Chicken was juicy and good, just wished they put a bit more mayo. I also had a salad with I enjoyed. Finally had to try their clam chowder...not too bad.

The place was almost completely fill there was one table open. Everybody seem like they are enjoying themselves. The staff seem very happy. They were pleasant to all customers. I had the prime rib. They have prime rib two or three times a week. I would say that 50% of it was good and tender. The other 50% was hard to cut and a little chewy. All in all all customers were light and nice to everybody you felt like you're at home. The cheerfulness was high. If it wasn't for the chewiness of the prime rib I would have given it five stars. The good experience all around. Bathroom was clean and they are good at cleaning up tables.

Great service on a Sunday morning. Fast, fresh, hot meals. Bloody Mary on spot.

Overall our meal was satisfactory. We do not eat out often at all. When we do it is a special treat and something exciting to do as a family. So coming in with excitement, only to hear the new manager go on and on in a none discrete but loud conversations of bad mouthing and degrading a prior employee that happens to be a family friend. No matter the differences behind the scenes of business matters they should not be discussed in the open in front of customers. Or just not at all. Not only did it create a negative environment that should be pleasant and welcoming, but it also showed a very unprofessional and gloating side.

First time eating here and we will be back! The fish n' chips is the best we have ever had! Our server Rachel was so sweet and overall awesome! Other staff members were smiley and clearly enjoying working there also. ❤️ Cool vibe too!

Daily specials that are hard to beat. The food is fresh and hot and tasty! The portions are large and the price is right. The quality of food and service has truly withstood the test of time.

Amazing breakfast! Dave’s is defiantly on our Saturday morning breakfast place list. It’s pretty small inside but makes up for it in amazing quick service the food was hot and cooked to perfection. Strong Bloody Mary’s 👍

Update: Returned to try again on 4/28. We tried the same meals (bacon cheeseburgers, fries). Specifically asked for well done burgers. I’m sad to say burgers were again undercooked. Only slightly more done than rare. The serving of crispy fries I received was embarrassing at best. Obviously the last cup or so of the bag. Just very small bits and pieces that might have been ok if not overcooked to a crisp. After my fist review the owner replied and generously offered me a $20 gift certificate which I didn’t redeem or even ask to obtain as it was left at the bar. I appreciate the offer but would have been happy with a cooked burger and properly cooked fries. I looked at other plates of fries as I left and they looked good. I think you should just toss the last cup or two of the tiny bits and pieces of fries rather than over cooking them and giving them to a customer. Unfortunately I regret to say we won’t be back. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Original review: Service was good and fast. Prices fair. Had bacon cheeseburgers and they were ok; except mostly rare or med rare at best. Now that may be ok if buying burger from a reliable source but when burger is a previously frozen patty from a large corporate supplier which buys mass produced meat, it’s a better idea to cook them to at least 160 degrees (no pink). Wasn’t asked how I wanted burger cooked and I forgot to say. Waitress was great. Lettuce, tomato and onion on burger was fresh and good. Steak fries and crispy fries were great too.

Dave's can be described in 1 word, AWESOME! The food is super yummy, large portions, great pricing. The drinks aren't weak or watered down. The wait staff has amazing personalities. It is a local business. So eating there is helping our local economy. I recommend the fried mushrooms. Best that I have eaten, EVER! I asked for only pickles, extra pickles on my burger. They sent a small ramekin FULL of pickles. Freaking awesome!

I came in on a Sunday and got the burger, fries, and a pint of Kokanee for $11. I liked it so much, I got a second pint and the burger and fries to-go. I enjoyed the service for company and am planning on making this a weekly ritual. I hear the Fish n Chips are really good, so I'm also planning on coming back for that, however, I was told it can be a bit crowded. So I'm hesitant. More to follow 🙏

Steak tasted pan fried and bland. It was cooked as requested. The service was great. If you’re headed out for a drink, and some classic deep fried food, fantastic spot. If you’re looking for a full meal that isn’t pub food, probably not the best choice.

This place is amazing! We walked in as a group of 15 and they were very welcoming and got us all seated. The staff was very friendly and just great. Honestly, the best service we’ve ever gotten anywhere. The food was really good too. 10/10. Definitely recommend.

Always love coming here! Thursdays nights they offer 2 steaks, 2 salads and 2 baked potato’s for $23.99! It’s an awesome deal! The food is good and drinks too! Service is great too!

This is a neighborhood bar and just what you expect. The menu is just the right size, not overwhelming, so everything is done well. They have Thee best fish and chips in the area. Service is always good, the beer is always cold and the popcorn always free. Don't hesitate to try them.

Haven’t been to Spokane in years, found this gem online! 100% recommend, the food was great! Not to mention the service, incredible! The bartender made me feel right at home I would definitely come back grab a bite and a beer and watch some football. Local feel, that makes you feel like a local.

We moved to this area recently and this is the restaurant I've visited the most. I feel like I always end up here for multiple reasons- they're open fairly late, the prices are fair, the food is consistently good and the servers/clientele are friendly. I know I can count on this place, I've ordered something different almost every time and have enjoyed everything. The one thing I would say could be improved is prep for the prime rib stew- the flavors are there but it's not so pleasant to get a bite of pure fat. That being said, I highly recommend it still, or the steaks or really any of their specials!

Dave's Reuben sandwiches are out of the world delicious! And enormous! Took half home for lunch the next day too.

I'm new to the area and learned about Dave's Bar & Grill from a local "Top Ten" list. I chose Dave's for the sole reason that the Yelp photos included a Rueben sandwich, my husband's out of town / I miss him / he loves Rueben sandwiches and the photo cheered me up. The restaurant, like its name, is unpretentious. I drove by it several times before I finally use my navigation to pinpoint it. I think I ended up parking in a drug store parking lot and walking to the door on Sprague avenue. As luck would have it, I went in through the back door. I think most people enter on the side opposite from Sprague Avenue. Inside the door was a gentleman at the table who greeted me warmly, so I presume this was Dave although I am not sure. I seated myself as is customary there and ordered the (you guessed it!) Rueben sandwich. You could get either french fries or salad on the side. I chose the salad. I asked if their ranch dressing was any good, and was informed that all their dressings are Litehouse brand dressing. So if you are a fan of Litehouse you'll be happy with the dressing. The salad is a plain iceberg type of salad. It was nice. The star of the show was indeed the Reuben. First I was thinking that its deliciousness teleported me to some famous deli in New York that might be known for its pastrami, and then I considered that perhaps I time traveled backwards to where pastrami was invented or the first marble rye was baked. The sandwich was otherworldly, in my humble opinion. I cannot recommend it enough. I can hardly wait for my husband to return from his trip so that I can take him here. I'm not sure if he'll get the Reuben or not, although the chances are pretty good. From what I saw of the cuisine coming out of the kitchen, I know both he and I will be pleased with anything placed before us! No wonder it made a top 10 list amongst a bunch of chi-chi restaurants and bistros. my only regret is that I didn't beg them to sell me a loaf of their marble rye before I left.

Dave's Bar and Grill is one of my favorite places in Spokane to eat. They have really good food, very big portions at very good prices. Staff is always very friendly, even when they are super busy. For a little hole in the wall type of restaurant its great. They has the best baby back ribs around
