This place is now open for the 2023 summer season! It is the perfect place for families who want to beat the heat. It is a safe and fun place where the kids can be independent and the adults can relax. The staff is friendly, the slides are really fun, and they have Dippin’ Dots! Yum! So glad they are back!!!

We took the family (1, 3, 5, mom, dad, grandpa) for the grand re-opening on July 29 and had a blast! The new owner has done so much work with a great vision on how to expand the facility. The owner was circulating the whole time and chatting everyone up and thanking them for coming. We even lost an Apple Watch while there on a water slide and the lifeguards were all attentive and helpful getting it back. The front office took our name and number and promised to be in touch. (And we got it back as we left! 🙌) For littles, there is a nice kiddy area. Four short slides that end in a shallow pool. My 5 yr old was confident on her own. 3 yr old and 1 yr old sat on an adult’s lap, and loved it. There is also a shallow wading pool in the shade that our 1 yr old loved splashing in. Adults and bigger kids will love their 6 different longer water slides. You can ride down regular or be on a magic carpet mat that helps you go super fast. One of the slides is a drop off slide that follows the steep angle of the hill! There’s also a tube slide you can do with a single or double tube. It’s amazing! It’s like a toilet bowl. You shoot down into a giant bowl and go around and around until you’re pulled into the middle and drop down to the bottom. There are concessions available, and you may also bring outside food. We brought a picnic lunch, so I don’t know exactly what concessions are available. There is plenty of seating in the sun or shade with giant sun umbrellas both at the top of the hill and at the bottom where the slides end. As of 7/29/23, tickets are $20 for those over 48” and $15 for those under. No senior pricing or anything, just by height. There are also twilight hours and season passes. Babies in arms are free. Welcome back, Splash Down! 💦 See you again very soon! (Sorry I don’t have more pictures! I was too busy riding slides and chasing my kids around! 😊 This is a picture of the kiddy area.)

Apparently, they are finally re-opening. Keep your expectations low. It was ghetto 30 years ago in the 90s and I'm sure they won't make any upgrades or fix the dilapidated structures. Can't wait for all the Spokane methheads to flood Splashdown once it re-opens smh. Still safer than swimming in the Spokane River, I suppose!!

I didn't get to spend too much time here. The price of admission and the features aren't exactly fair. You can get bored quickly. The grounds and pools are relatively clean and the staff seemed friendly enough. Overall, it's a decent place to beat the heat, if you're not inclined to make a trip to a bigger waterpark.

Miss this place so much. So much nostalgia. Was hoping to take my nephews here some day. Hope they open back up again soon!

Some of the slides are getting a little run down, because this place has been around forever. The prices are decent , and it's super to be here on a hot day , otherwise the water is cold. The toddler area is very cute. This place tends to attract a somewhat trashy crowd so stay close to your kids.

Took our boys there last night for the discounted family night! So awesome to see my boys have that much fun from a place that we grew up going to almost daily in the summers. Just can't thank the owners, staff and the community members who are supporting this local iconic business. Spokane desperately needed another safe, affordable and fun family oriented business! Keep up the good work.

Recently visited Splash Down on a Friday afternoon with a group that included kids, parents, and grandparents, and all had a wonderful time. It has a relaxed and easy-going atmosphere and friendly employees. I loved that you could hang out on the lawn - in the sun or shade - and that it was mostly grass, not concrete. If you're looking for a relaxing and fun day outdoors, this is a sure bet.

Family fun at a reasonable price. The kids love going here and if you go for their evening special the value is huge. 2 hours of sliding for less than the price of seeing a movie and instead of sitting and not talking to each other we are all laughing, talking, and excitedly walking to our next slide down the tubes!

The slides are fun for a while but all day for the kids. No pool or wading area, kids can use slide with vest on which none of the public pools allow. You are able to bring in your own lunch! We went on wed and it was very slow lots of space per family plenty of seating! Enjoy the hike back to the top all day five slides And a small kiddie area sums it up. But we enjoyed it all. Wish it was cheaper.

very fun, not a ton of rides but enough. suggest getting in on the afternoon pricing to save your money, you will still get enough done to satisfy everyone. There is a public pool next door that is separate cost(cheap) but warm and worth hitting afterwards if you are cold.

I live about two blocks from Splashdown and to be honest I haven't gone inside the place since the 90s. Still, SD is in Valley Mission park so I've been looked through Splashdown's fences several times. From what I see it doesn't look much different than it did 25 years ago. It isn't a big place and I think older kids could get kind of bored with it fast, but if you have younger kids there is more than enough here. Also, the admission prices are surprisingly really fair for what you get. Taking a couple kids here only costs about as much as taking them out to a movie would.

Great place to bring kids! The new owners did an amazing job restoring this local landmark to its former glory! Food price was honestly very reasonable! You go to other places like silverwood and are spending about 15-20 per person for food, here you can expect about 6-10 per person depending on what you choose. They also allowed outside food and drink so you can also do that! Great job owners!

Splash down is fun! I went on all 4 of the white slides. The trick is, you have to lay down otherwise you might stop. My kids enjoyed playing in the kids area where they have 3 mild slides. The food is very reasonably priced for a water park. Drinks are $2-$4, burgers are around $10 (although I think they come with fries). And they allow you to bring your own food which is a major bonus. Now the downsides...or downslides. People leave their junk at the tables near the kids area then walk away, so you pretty much can't use those tables. They really don't have swimming areas, but it's mostly a water slide park so whatever. It can get pretty crowded but I'm averse to crowds so I am biased. If you love crowds you will love this. Overall though I think its a good park. People complain about the price but I think it's about right for what you are getting.

Fun little park. Only 6 slides in total, so not certain it's worth the price of entry ($20), and still a bit run down in places. Short waits on most slides, though. However, I know the new owners are hard at work improving, so I look forward to seeing what happens in the future!

It's just as I remember it as a kid minus the hot tubs. Fun fun fun! Thanks for reopening for all of Spokane to enjoy!

Just ok. Better for small kids. I like that they let you bring your own food inside. Price is reasonable. They are still working on getting all the pieces together. Need more chairs, more tubes, more umbrellas. Stuff like that. Staff was friendly and we had a good time. Just slides no pools or splash pads so it is what it is. Wish nothing but the best for the new owners. We had a good time.

It was absolutely fabulous! Just like I remember from my childhood. Had so much fun a few months back when we went as a family. Loved the prices and all the stuff they had to offer. Seems clean and safe. Love the lockers and the keys that attach to your bathing suit. I would recommend this place 🩷. Only downside is there is no spot for adults to sit in the pool and relax. It's only slides and the kiddo pool that has signs preventing adults from using it as a place to hang out. My husband took our 10 year old on all the slides but there was no place for me to just sit or stand in the water and chill on my own. All pools were for people to fall into sliding and then keep moving to the next attraction. There are plenty of chairs and tables but honestly that's not as refreshing on a hot day as a cool waiting pool would be.

It's a great park with fun slides, lots of lawn space and seating for enjoying a sunny day. The staff is friendly and hospitable. There can be long lines on busy days but that's the price you pay for being such a short drive. If you like it I suggest the family pass, it pays for itself in just a few visits.

Fun place for the kids for sure! Close to home so makes a fun family event. Only down side was water in kiddie area was freezing so my boys turned blue and the big slides were a bit....bumpy on the bum so that was uncomfortable for sure. Will enjoy coming back yearly.

Went here in a hot day in July with two other families and their small children. SplashDown Beach was probably one of the best ideas and places in the area for kids to cool off. It was very clean and all of the employees at the stands were very attentive and pleasant. We spent approximately three hours and the kids wanted to stay even longer. Great way to keep active children entertained. I would definitely go again next Summer!
