The old man at the front desk was weird, also asked for ID for every all adults checking in , was told this was a new policy brought in. The hallway was old, smelly and gross. The elevator was a million years old and stank . The rooms themselves were updated , but poor bedding, had no extra blankets or pillows. Don’t be deceived my the photos, pool and laundry use is in the hotel next door . We all skipped breakfast, no choice , unless you wanted to eat a hard green banana or a packaged muffin or a pop tart. Sad for the price you pay. Would never recommended this hotel, gross, old and get no value for your money.

Below average hotel. The ladies on the front desk were friendly and checked us in quick. That’s probably the only good thing. The room was somewhat clean. Air conditioning is super loud and we couldn’t adjust it to the comfortable temperature. It was either too cold or too hot. Room cleaning didn’t show up on day 2 and had to go and ask for new towels. Fridge was working as a freezer even after adjusting it settling multiple times. Breakfast was terrible. Couple of nut bars and green bananas. It was conveniently loca rated for our trip , but way overpriced for what we got.

This is right off the I-90. Great location. Great people. Everything is basically next door you'd find in your hometown. Grocery, fast food, car wash, glass shop, convenient stores, and such. Try the Longhorn Barbeque a few blocks down. My weekend was nice and quiet. Room was immaculate upon entry. I'm definitely coming back. Soon💜❤️

Over priced at $180, which includes smoky lobby, lumpy and misshapen pillows, moldy shower, and slamming doors. The staff was somewhat helpful, but distracted and it look like they tried to remodel the room so that was okay. Would not stay here again.

Pool not connected to their building, and also nasty. Springs poking out of mattress. "Mystery" stains and tears in the sheets and box spring covers. Gum on the ceiling. Surfaces not sanitized. Dirty air conditioner. Beds only have sheets, no comforters, even in winter. Needless to say, we refused to stay...

Conveniently located with some decent perks for an affordable hotel. The hotel itself is fairly standard and well worn. I was surprised I had to sign a waiver and provide an unexpected deposit in case the room is damaged. Must be a rough location. I was glad they offered a breakfast its nice when they offer one. It isn't the best breakfast options but better than just muffins left out. There were some cosmetic blemishes in the room but nothing that bothered me personally but might others. But it's quick on and off the interstate and there are eating options nearby. It was kinda confusing having to go to the hotel next door to use the pool but again it was nice to have the amenities available.

This place has gone downhill lately with the girls they hire. Rude little girls like to come to your room and try to tell you it's time to check out after you room is paid for then they will try to harass any children you have with you even when the child is autistic just because they don't like to do the job they are paid for. The rooms have been not very clean the last few times being here. And don't bother to pay for late check out because they will wake you up just to argy with you and then tell you not to be rude.

Don't bother renting a room here. All the amenities they offer are in the SilverStone next door. The two motels even share a staff. Booking a room here costs more and then you have to walk across the parking lot and around the building to the front to be let in to the other motel in order to swim or do laundry. On top of that if you stay at the SilverStone you get a free breakfast at the Denny's which you don't get from the Super 8. The rooms themselves are decent. Very firm mattresses with no blankets only sheets and a thin decorative cover and tiny bathrooms. The location is by a freeway off ramp.

I felt safe here and the location was great, but that's probably the nicest thing I can say. This hotel is very worn and dirty. The carpet in the halls are stained and dirty, especially in the elevator. Our room was small but adequate. The bed was uncomfortable and the chair in the corner was disgustingly dirty. We had to put towels on it so we could use it. The shower wall was peeling and there was a long brown hair on it (I'm a redhead and my husband has short hair). The free breakfast was ok if you like bread but needed to be stocked more often. At least there was a cold pool at the hotel next door that the kids enjoyed. I would look at other options before I go there again.

Very unprofessional staff. Check in says 3pm. Showed up at 5pm to check in and settle down for a bit before dinner. To my surprise she says no rooms are available. Keep in mind I booked a room 4 days prior. When I asked what she meant she looked at me confused and asked the other desk lady what it means. She snobbingly walks over and like it’s no big deal says “oh none of the rooms are clean, we can’t get you in a room”. Wait. What? So I asked what the point of a. Reserving a room so it’s ready and B. Having a 3pm check in yet you can’t check people in even 2 hours after that time? I said “so am I expected to just to sit in the parking lot with my family or drive around Spokane for whoever knows how long until a room is clean? She very rudely replied with “yeah I guess so, I don’t know what to tell you, we can call you when a room is ready” luckily Priceline is so good to work with. Immediately cancelled the room and booked somewhere else. Get it together Super 8. And inform your staff on courtesy and not being so snobby.

Hotel is clean, staff is friendly. This is an older property that has been redone well but it still has the multi layers of wall paint making it feel aged. There is no blanket on the bed just a sheet and duvet so bring your own. The room does have fridge, microwave and coffee pot, and a very basic breakfast is included. All things said this is where I always stay when in town because the price and location are perfect.

Clean and quiet. Air conditioning, toilets are good. A good night's sleep. There is a laundry room, wash $2.75, dry $2.75, add detergent $1. The front desk helps with my requests, but one lady and one sir wanted save their smiles, the next morning when I returned key, the front desk was a young lady with a normal smile.

I have stayed at motels and hotels all across the United States and this hotel ranks right down there with the bottom ones. The check in was going pretty smoothly until the clerk walked away in the middle of checking us in to assist a gentleman who arrived after us. Then another young lady took over her spot while the original lady was flirting with the customer in front of the rest of the people waiting to check in. The room was very small, and had a foul smell about it. The bathroom was very clean. The toilet was like a child's toilet, difficult for older person to stoop down to sit on the seat. The pillows were very small and lumpy. My pillow actually had some dark spots on the side lying on the bed, not sure what it was but was able to feel that it was hard and crunchy. The swimming pool area was very clean and towels were available. There was a shower to use before entering the pool. There was a phone in the area for emergency calls. There was also a lift to assist people with disabilities in and out of the pool. The hot tub was extremely hot almost to the point that it was uncomfortable. The free breakfast was pretty packed and no where to sit. The good thing is there is a restaurant just across the parking lot and multiple others in the vicinity. Access to the second level was a little tricky and we parked on the back side (North Side) of the motel. The entrance was about in the middle of the building. Once inside it took some looking to figure out the door to the stairs and second floor. This was pretty confusing. We also watch one guy smoking drugs in the parking lot. The same individual also had vehicle traffic picking him up out of view of the security camera and doing his drug deals. Upon check out, we were asked how was our stay? We told them about the pillow issues. The response was that they have a new shipment of pillows on the way. Super 8, didn't offer any type of compensation after explaining our issues with the above. Note: This room was reserved in advance for one price. When we arrived the room actually cost us more money. In hind sight we should have at that point went down the road and got more for our money. My husband booked the hotel from PA after reading good reviews about it. We were thoroughly disappointed. The room was not cleaned for the 11 days we stayed in. We asked twice and both times it was never done because they were "short staffed" according to the front office. We had to request for a change in bed linen and towels. The room was never vacuumed, the toilet and bath never washed. So far the worst place I've ever had to stay in. Would never recommend it to anyone. It's such a shame!!!

Absolutely great place, 94 dollars total, rooms are very nice very spacious and very clean. No neighbor noise, excellent front desk services, coffee pot in your room, microwave, TV. Their breakfast is off the chain. Definitely a way better breakfast than I have here at home. Late check-out options 10$ for an hour 20 dollars for 2 late checkout hours. Best hotel I stayed at in town by far!

Looked at ratings before I booked. Who gives them a 7.5 out of 10? Front desk staff not helpful. Hallways stunk. Room stunk. Bathroom and beds at least were clean. Location was easy just off the highway. We got there very late at night or would have went elsewhere.

This hotell had a really cool and funny staff. The hotel was nice and clean and was close to where we wanted to go. The negative part is that the toilet was built for very small kids. Me that are handicapped had big issues sitting there. And the breakfast coul have some sandwiches and serials, then it would have more stars.

This hotel needs some TLC…. Carpet in hallways stinks and either needs a good shampoo or replacement all together! Walls are chipped, elevator is dirty. We had to ask for decent pillows.. the ones already on beds were flat as pancakes! When we picked some up, they were fluffy and nice! What’s up with that? Saving the good ones for the President? 🤷🏻‍♀️Also, NO breakfast!! Coffee was good but everything else was fit for a toddler or a small pet. Snacks.

The bathroom in our qq room was SUPER SMALL. But it was clean. Sorry forgot to get pictures this time. The door handle wasn’t set up right and you had to lift it up instead of pushing down, just inconvenient when got a handful of luggage or whatever. No late checkouts. Check out was 11 and latest would let us stay was 11:30. No breakfast either. But overall not a bad place to stay. Oh yeah and PETS STAY FREE 😃

Rooms a little stuffy smelling. Not really very clean either. Breakfast was nothing to write about. Bummer was pool was in a totally separate building so didn't use that. A lot of sketchy people walking all night outside of hotel. Could have been better.

Check in was great. Front desk was quite helpful when a detector in my room malfunctioned. The comments regarding a smell in the room are not unwarranted. My two rooms had a funk. I got used to it pretty quickly so it didn't bother me much. Others may not be so lucky. Property needs some investment.

Great stay over spot for a night. Lots of restaurants nearby, Denny’s in same lot. Very disappointed in breakfast. It was all packaged/processed food. No fresh milk for coffee or oatmeal. The bananas were our go to choice.

Great value hotel to grab some sleep on a long trip. Rooms are clean and the hotel is right off I-90, without sounding like it was right on the interstate. Cable package is excellent, WiFi is poor to the point of being of little use.

This was a super convenient location to wind down at. A bed, a washroom, and a complimentary muffin (and more) for breakfast. There's a restaurant in the neighboring parking lot. If you're just looking for a simple place to lay your head or shower- and not worried about luxury- this is your stop. Thanks to the staff for a quick check-in and check-out.

I was very disappointed!! The last time I was there, that was 10 years ago! It has gone downhill. The people that work there are really nice friendly & very helpful 👍 I like that they did take the carpet out. It's so much easier to clean! Although my feet when I washed them the washcloth was dirty??? That was right before going to bed. The bathroom door would not close. The faucet leaked. I forgot to tell them when we left. Other than that it was a nice visit. Having Dennis & the other restaurants there was a plus. I always liked that shopping center there.

Hallways and elevator were very dirty. The room was clean but the TV didn't work. It was late, so I didn't bother. It would have been nice to have it in the morning. It said they had breakfast, but only individual wrapped muffins. Poor coffee and only had half&half for creamer. I haven't stayed at a Super 8 in years so I thought I would give it a try. I will never stay at one again!!

One of the cheaper options available($175 a night!!) during the time we needed. Upon walking in I wanted to cancel and try my luck at any another location. The lobby was my first indication that this was not the kind of place anyone should feel comfortable staying at. I asked if I could cancel and was told I'd have to do it through the site we booked from. Upon rounding the corner to the hallway towards our room things only continued to make me uneasy about staying. The "new" carpet was covered in grime, stains, and things I could only guess about. Every door we passed was scratched and looked years old. My stomach was sinking as we continued down the hall. Once we got to out room we discovered that the first light inside the room didn't work. Things weren't any better once we found a source of light. When I say you should find another place to stay this comes from a place of caring for all you travelers. This is not the place.. Please stay away.. The beds sheets were suspect. The children's bunk bed we had looked forward to was rickity and made the worst metallic noise. We found left over stuffed animals between the head of the bed and the wall (how that happens upon cleaning and changing of bedding I don't know). The bathroom was moldy and the sheet rock peeling in places. The smell was at best described as noticeable. The next morning I go to the lobby for breakfast. Zero hot food. I'm trying keto so a staple continental breakfast choice for me is eggs with sausage that every hotel we've ever stayed at has had. This motel only had unripe oranges and bananas, and packaged candy meals like fruit bars. When I waited at the front desk for 15 minutes to finally find someone, they said because of covid they hadn't had any hot food, only packaged for years. But the hotel across the street had hit food. The Dennys had hot food. The clerk proceeded to follow me to my room listing options where we could go get a meal. Speaking of the "other" hotel in the same parking lot... When we saw a pool and hot tub we found out that this Super 8 doesn't have one. What they show on their website is the pool across the road of another company (apparently same owner).! So my kids could get into swimsuits and walk across the street to another location and back again all wet? STAY AWAY.. SAVE YOUR MONEY... I REPEAT THIS IS LIKE SOMETHING OUT OF A BAD MOVIE. Please if nothing else just read reviews, which if we had done instead of using booking.com we wouldn't be here in the first place... BTW the fridge froze the food we brought for our lunch. Lol..

If I could give this Super 8 zero stars, I would. While the staff were very friendly and accommodating, the motel and surrounding premises were awful. The walls were so thin that we heard other guests coming and going all night long. The carpets in the room and hallways were absolutely filthy. The sheets were semi clean; the comforters were stained, smelly, and dirty. The bathroom needed serious attention as well. Overall, the accommodations were dingy, stinky, and grimy. While we didn’t expect a Four Seasons experience, we did expect a basic level of cleanliness. We will never again stay at another Super 8.

  • 2/5 Mike S. 1 year ago on Google
On the good side the room was very clean and the building had easy freeway access. The hotel was welcoming to my dog as well. Bad side the walls and floors are very thin and the neighbors could be heard fairly easily. The parking area near the building is very crowded with limited space. There is however a larger parking area behind the building that is more accommodating. It did however give the feeling that some of the guests were more likely residents.

Horrible customer service, we stay weekly at hotels for work and thought we would give this place a try. I had a great experience the first week and then called back to rebook and wanted the same hotel room over a week in advance. I called and got the room or so I thought and showed up to a totally different room, not clean, smelled awful and when I called to get it changed they thought I was on hold and I over heard the conversation. The manager telling the staff it’s not their problem ect.. super upsetting and when I confronted them they all denied it. I will take my weekly money elsewhere.

The room they tired putting us in was dirty. Tooth paste on the sink, pee in the toilet and around the rim, stained sheets and comforters and it smelled very gross. A mix of cleaner and old dust. They gave us a new room, it was clean. But again it smelled like cleaner and old dusty house. The towels smelled like vinegar which is ok for getting other smells out but it was unpleasant while drying off. The beds were not comfortable, very flimsy small pillows and no regular blanket. The bathtub was peeling. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until it gets completely updated. Next time we know to spend the extra money at a nicer place.

I was there for a Personal reason so I was there for 11 days the first time. At check in the guy was overwhelmed by himself with all the people wanting to check in. But when he got to us he was much calmer. Because how long we were staying he took us out side and showed us where everything was around us within walking. We left for 4 days and then returned for another 6 nights to a new room on second floor and the people above us were crazy. Who knows what they were doing running around up there. We had no problem getting extra pillows or blankets. We never had them clean our room while we were there we just asked for what we needed and got it without any problem. Got as long as we stayed in our first room the fridge was very small could have used a bigger one. Our second stay had the larger fridge. When we check out I told the clerk about the people above us and they Said we should have called and they would have taken care of it. I will be back there in September. Their beds were very comfortable. My only complaint will be the continental breakfast. They are a pet friendly motel and in our first stay we could tell by the smell in our room. Don’t get me wrong it was not pee smell it was just dog smell and because I have 4 of my own it didn’t brother me. The second room didn’t have it at all it also has a larger fridge I wish we would have had for the longer stay. Dennys is across the parking lots and their service sucks.

One of the main selling points for choosing this motel was the pool and spa advertised. "Pool" and "Spa" are even 3 times larger than the Super 8 sign. Unfortunately, the pool and spa belong to the Silverstone motel next door. This requires a short walk across an icy parking lot if you choose to stay in the winter. The blankets provided for the room feel like stiff sheets and are not sufficient for cold weather. The sockets in the walls won't hold on to anything you plug into them. The room wasn't even cleaned before we checked in. There were used paper cups under the bed and crushed Doritos underneath the chair. The bathroom has what looks like a ceiling vent but no fan to turn on. Not at all likely to return to this motel.

This is THE VERY DEFINITION of you get what you pay for!!!!! The parking lot is not very well kept up or lit, I walked in and the customer service was not very professional. They were playing rock music YouTube videos loud where the whole lobby could hear it. The age of the building is obvious old and is in need of serious makeover. I walked down towards where I was thinking the elevator was and saw the guy from the front desk and asked where the elevator was and he had just walked past it so he showed me it. He said “Sorry it smells like vape in there, someone just vaped in there” and a cloud of vape smoke came out of the elevator. The hotel even has a no smoking rule……….. I get upstairs and not even a minute in I am not satisfied with any of it at all Bathroom sink is literally right in the entryway, two feet from the door, the toilet to the left. The bed is horribly uncomfortable and the room is just so small. I had 6 month baby with me (and also my bf). I was extremely nervous with having my baby there and did not feel safe.

Everyone is approachable here. From assistant gm Mercedes to maintenance man Jerry. Yes, the staff/front desk is a little firm in enforcing the rules, however, it’s mostly (from what I seen) to promote a drug free, unruly environment, which they’re good at. Thank you to Jen, Sandy, and the rest of the ladies for always making it easy in regards to working with me around my work schedule.
