This place gets one star because the staff at the front desk were really nice. The bed looked like a hide-a-bed pulled out from a couch. The legs were that same flimsy metal. The floors were sticky, there was only half a roll of toilet paper, and no soap whatsoever. The door was covered in greasy fingerprints and the table looked like it had never been wiped down. It was a non-smoking room that smelled strongly of smoke. It was a complete rip-off for $127.00 a night.

The room smelled awful. The bedding was stained and looked un washed.. housekeeping was knocking on the door before checkout. We asked them to give us a moment and they knocked again yet still before check out time. The floor was nasty. When we tried to get in the room the door was so off you had to pick it up and shove open. By the time we were loaded up and leaving it still wasn't past check out .

They are pretty basic as far as the rooms go. Access your room from outside doors. A few of the rooms have been smelly when we've entered them but with a little spray and an open window it cleared out. Plus this place deals with the loudness that comes with 3 crazy kiddos....and mine are loud. We've never gotten complaints and have been treated respectfully while leaving us alone and not bugging us. As long as you pay to extend your stay or make sure you're checked out on time which is 11am, then no one will bother you. 3 stories, with an elevator to access top floors (very helpful when you tote half your life with you in your car at all times). Very sturdy feeling being on the 3rd floor balcony and I thought noise would be a problem being on top but these are well made and that wasn't the case at all. Also they are the cheapest around and offer weekly rentals that are an even cheaper rate.

This place is great. The front desk clerk Chris is on top of her game. She wears many hats here and she does it well. The room is clean and nicely done. When I asked to be accommodated and not be on second story , her and her staff worked tirelessly to get me squared away. The housekeeping is great, and always there to offer a helping hand if needed. All this , and this hotel is very busy. They do a great job at making the customers feel at ease.

HORRIFIC! PLEASE READ- brown smeary stains on all the curtains, horrifying smells that made us gag and leave the room, a bed that looks like it’s barely standing, sharpie scribbled along the number plates and walls, people smoking cigarettes in their rooms, other people obviously tweaked out throwing things against the walls, loitering outside the rooms half dressed and shouting. It was so absurd that it was comical. The front desk folks were very nice, and that truly is the only redeeming quality. After trying two rooms we asked for a refund and left. Feeling gross and unsafe, the people running this ‘motel’ didn’t approve our refund request one week later. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY AND UNHOLY DO NOT STAY HERE. :)

We were greeted and welcomed in by a very nice front desk person. That is where the nice stopped. One of the rooms was so filthy and had leftover underwear and other personal items in it. So we switched rooms the management was very agreeable to that. That room had foils and drug paraphernalia. The second room that we had been assigned to had the door Jimmy so many times that the card reader didn't work. The building is in extremely bad repair the grounds are littered with dog feces. It says it is a no smoking no pet site due to allergies is one of the reasons we chose it. It not only smells like cigarettes but other smokable things. And there are most definitely dogs on the premises. Management gave us our money back no questions asked we don't want anyone to get trapped there again.

Nice room no bed bugs like the others, but upon check in they declined my card through the computer but works fine through the card reader which is not the other guests business, upon check out they said they would refund the deposit but charged full amount for night and deposit. Nope I don't plan to return.

The area is decent and the stores around are all within waking distance. My biggest concern was the bed our room came with. We asked multiple times for a switch on the bed or possibly a different room but they disregarded our situation as if it was not a big concern. I should have been more stern on this situation about our room with higher ups but I suppose that would defeat the purpose if the core employees (those that talk with customers on a daily basis to help with problems or concerns) do not try to resolve the issue in the first place. I never had an issue with afternoon staff, this lady works on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings (she was the one that really didn’t care about our situation with the bed). In the end we just ended up flipping the bed (despite it still being dirty on that end just not as much) and went on from there. The pictures I uploaded should entail how serious this concern was but was disregarded by morning staff at the front desk.

This place is trash! The 2 star is because there are actually worse places in Spokane, but not much. Broken doors, trash in walkways, junkies trying to get aggressive. Sadly, this is almost the same rating Spokane as a whole is at.

Very clean and comfy bed, nice shower and full sized refrigerator. Thank you Chris for the hospitality and let your coworker know they still need to tell me what channel they were talking about with the aircraft engines!

A lot of people hanging outside my room that weren’t guest. Room was used, found cigarettes ash everywhere, dirty napkins on the bed, used face towels on bed, cigarette butts on floor, and the walls are thin and you can hear everything. Staff was friendly, the only good part.

The room smelt like dead fish. I had to go buy my own blankets because they were clearly not washed and there were stains and blood on them. Also, this is a really sketchy area. I was walking up to my room and there was clearly a good amount of people that were on some kind of drug. Truly this was the worst place I have ever stayed at, absolutely disgusting.

Definitely needs the cleaning to be stepped up. Best example is our feet walking to the bathroom from the bed were instantly BLACK with dirt. Hair all over in the bathroom. The sink dripped all night requiring a towel to be put under it so you were not kept awake. The refrigerator had sticky residue all over inside of it. The bathroom ceiling had spots all over from moisture and filth. The bed had sheets and no blanket. We did get a blanket when we asked.

The non-smoking room smelled of smoke so much had hard time getting to sleep. Whole facility was filthy including a spill on the bedroom floor. Stairs had trash all over. Grass was about 9 inches tall so difficult for mini dachshund to find place to walk or potty. Could not leave room without being surrounded by smokers. Room on far end of 3rd floor but no cart to carry luggage to room, had to use a laundry cart to carry luggage to room. The desk clerk was helpful as he could under circumstances. Very disappointing stay.

Room was fairly acceptable condition, altho the first room was not and I had to ask for a room to replace the first. The front desk person was very accommodating extremely friendly and provided freshly washed, brand new linens and towels. I read the other reviews and did not have nearly the problems other people seem to have had I think the place has been very well cleaned up. I am moving to a different room tomorrow when my friends arrived from taxes we will have to see how it goes from there.

It was the worse experience I ever had. Me and my friend came to stay there for a wedding. Where do I even begin. We checked in and went to our room. There were no towels, no soap, no trash can, no tv remote. Sheets weren’t clean so luckily we had a beach towel to sleep on. We were harassed by so many people there, and they kept on asking if we worked there or for anyone, meaning something shady goes on there. Smell of cigarette and smoke everywhere. Worst place, don’t recommend

First Impressions Easy enough to get to from I-90 as there's a center, bi-directional turn lane that allows access. I first turned in too early and saw kids running around playing. As it was about 1000 PM this was surprising. When I later pulled around to the hotel parking lot there were fewer kids playing and some people sitting out by an island in the parking lot that housed some trees. Check In Pretty seamless, polite and friendly. It just took longer than I thought. There's a sign with a lot of policies in the lobby which includes no pets and check in after 11:00, specifically, 11:01, would be charged either a late fee or another charge for an additional night. I was given good directions to the nearby elevator which had already been called by another guest who pressed the button for my floor. The Room Itself At first blush, as there were markings on the top cover/sheet, I thought the place just needed some TLC as everything appeared to be both clean and functional, on my initial walk around. Bathroom The toilet paper holder was odd as it faces away from the guest and the toilet sit protrudes a bit past the bowl but the water pressure was good. The shower stall was also atypical in that it easily allowed one to sit which is a nice option to have. I later found out that the curtain is just short enough to allow lots of water out at the bottom so that's a wash. There was a chunk out of the sink basin which was apparent, but didn’t affect functionality, of course. Bedroom I only found this out later but most of the outlets were either too loose to support a charging cable (the one by the table) or so loose as to be provide inconsistent charging (the ones closest to the bed). This could definitely be an issue for any sizable family but was workable as I was by myself. The climate controlled worked seamlessly. I awoke several times, presumably from discomfort from the bed, something I’ve only experienced once at a hotel but not to this degree. I awoke with back pain. Overall Aesthetic To be blunt, you could easily say this place looks uninviting and rundown, especially the stairwells which are one way use only, believe it or not. Several doors were propped open with large rocks, a wet floor sign was in the elevator for no apparent reason, I saw two shopping carts outside of rooms, as well as a broken window on the first floor. There are CCTV cameras, at least I remember them on the first and third floors so there’s no reason to think they’re aren’t also some on the second. Internet For the life of me, I could not get a connection. I had to call the front desk twice, once for dispatch and once for follow up, to get the potential password. I say potential because the employee couldn’t find it for sure but gave what they thought it was. When I input it, I got browser messages from both Firefox and Chrome saying the web page wasn’t secure. As I was just crashing for the night this wasn’t a huge deal but I can totally see how a couple and especially a family with children, would find this untenable. Staffing Solid overall with one big caveat, and again, this may be contextual. I made return trips to my car after midnight and noticed that the office area was completely dark. I don’t know if this one has set hours, but I’ve never seen one in such condition. I’ve seen briefly unattended decks, sure but not an office with all its lights out. That’s wild to me as a hotel is usually accessible 24-7 even if it’s fully booked. I don’t want to get anyone in trouble as this was the only wrinkle I observed, and didn’t even have to experience, but it’s very striking. Check Out Polite, seamless, and faster than check in. Verdict If on a brief, solo trip, this place could work for you but that’s the only context I can advise in good conscience. Otherwise, spend $20 or so bucks more for a presumably far more consistent experience that meets your expectations. Qualified 3/5 but 2/5 unqualified.

Wasn't to bad could have been better. Rooms were kinda gross. Housekeeping spent more time smoking and in other rooms longer than they should have been. Never stopped to ask if you needed towels or other stuff. Alot of activities going on around there that are not good. Cops there none stop. Cares getting broke into. Laundry room was gross.

The location is good close to everything, it’s very deceiving though nice looking on the outside front office was clean BUT once you get into the elevator you notice how dirty it is we stayed in 232 and let me tell you I had to really restrain myself the room was dirty the sheets had something crusty on it I changed them myself cleaned the bathroom myself. You have to run the shower for 15 minutes before the water gets warm even then it doesn’t get hot. It’s in serious need of a revamp The staff was very apologetic. I don’t know about you but I find it really unsanitary and don’t appreciate having to pay for something I have to clean we definitely will not be going back to it.

Just checked into the motel today at the first room they put me in which was 222 was not clean. The sheets were off the bed. There was garbage in the garbage cans. Looks like somebody was just chewing tobacco in there cause they were spit bottles on the table and went down and complain to management. They gave me a new room without any hesitation. Other than that it’s a decent property is well taken care of the stairwell smells like smoke in animal P.S when I first saw it I almost thought I walked into a barn but other than that it’s not a bad place to live. It’s a little expensive though it’s 170 bucks a night so if I were you, I would book a weekly stay, but one downside to the hotel is if you live locally like as in 20 miles from the hotel, they’re not allowed to rent to you because of their policy which I think it’s kind of stupid, but what can you do?

The staff here are so kind! The room was not the cleanest, but I read the reviews and prepared for that. Brought a broom, swiffer and lysol wipes. They have a full kitchen which is impossible to find for less than $100/night anywhere but here. The area is sketchy forsure. The police were here literally every day, but that actually made me feel safer somehow. If you're used to the hilton, don't come here. If you're looking for a cheap hotel that's decent, this place is great value for the price. Just be prepared to clean your own room!

I did get a full refund. As soon as I walked in the room, it smelt like someone was just smoking in the room. The comforter had cigarette burns. The toilet had toilet paper in it and the toilet wasn't clean. The AC didn't work well. And the fridge was rattling. The door jam and lock seemed to be jimmies and so was unsafe. The worst part was when I went to lay on the bed the pillow had make-up on it! Disgusting!!!

We had reservations for 8/12/2023. We arrived at around 12am we reserved 3 rooms because we were traveling with family. Checked in one room the toilet was full of used toilet paper and dirty towels on the floor. What seemed like ants on the bed. Food crumbs on the table still. Another room dirty table and full garbage cans. Third room just overall dirty. All 3 rooms horrible cigarette smell even though on the reservation it said non smoking. We went to complain to the front desk and told them they said sorry they couldn't do anything about it because they didn't have available rooms (Wich I don't think would of made a difference) . We decided to check out . They said they couldn't refund us the money even though we got a written letter from the front desk person confirming we were only there 20 minutes.

Compared to the red top motel, hometown has better rooms but the customer service was non existent. Had several kids running amok directly above us and i was told to just deal with it. Wouldnt let us or the kids move, wouldnt give a discount for sound warfare either. After this disrespect i would rather save my money and sleep on a sidewalk. Also despite efforts to stop it drug use is rampant plentiful.

The outside presents well. The interior, although a little dated, is very neat and clean. The front desk service was great. Just ask for a room at the front of the hotel, and park at the front, because people seem to be sleeping in their cars out the back. It felt a little uncomfortable.

Booked a non-smoking room but it smelled like an ashtray. There were cigarette burns in the bedspread. The floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in months. The room needed a paint job desperately.

THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE FLAGGED AND SHUT DOWN. AC Unit was STOLEN/BROKEN, SMOKE FILLED air, and BLOOD STAINS on the linens. WE WALKED OFF THE PROPERTY disgusted and fearful of our safety and health. The management is extremely poor, they were not able to give all the rooms clean towels and doors were not locking correctly in other guest suites. IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN DO NOT STAY HERE as there were cops coming in and out of the property and the entire operations looked frightening. The staff could not refund us for selling us a room THAT WAS UNSANITARY AND NON-OPERATIONAL with a destroyed AC UNIT. Tried to contact corporate, but all their lines are tied. leaving me no choice but to leave a review to warn other potential guests.

I can say the room I stayed in was clean and the hotel staff are wonderful. The rest of the hotel could use some TLC. I was on the second floor so between the noise from the third floor and the noise from next door kept me from having a decent sleep. If I could give five stars to this hotel it would go to the staff every encounter was by far a pleasant one and they were more than helpful and friendly.

I booked a room three weeks in advance and when I arrived they informed me they cancelled my reservation. Never received a phone call or any kind of correspondence. But the place is extremely shady looking and so are the individuals staying there so it was a blessing in disguise not having to stay there

I booked a block of rooms for my wedding here. I booked through corporate and STRUGGLED to get the correct information so that my guests could book. About 3 calls before corporate actually gave us the correct info. We checked in, and my husband and I were a little worried, but not terribly so, with the conditions. Another of our guests, however, checked in, and their bathroom faucet was MISSING long with boot prints on the door, and the door jam was completely mangled. They went to check out immediately and were met with several people who were clearly blazed out of their minds occupying the elevator. My father-in-law brought this to our attention as we had pretty much checked in, and left to attend to other things. We ended up checking too when every single guest checked out and went to another hotel. Blood, burned bedspreads, 'partying' neighbors, and as we got onto the elevator, someone had been hotboxing it in, and the smell of weed was overwhelming for someone with asthma. Every single employee was so apologetic and completely understood the situation. They did everything they reasonably could to try and get us to stay and were extremely kind to us. That was the first time I saw a security guard in a hotel that frankly, is a motel. I worked for hotels, and have stayed in less-than-desirable accommodations across the globe, and never once EVER left a review like this. Even in third-world countries, I have been met with better conditions and less dangerous and drug-addled situations. Corporate, SHAME ON YOU. You have provided a situation where anyone who isn't seeking drug accommodations, will certainly Karen out on your poor workers. We see the situation for what it is, and shame on you. Particularly for the $100+ you charged us PER ROOM, to have busted-in doors, burned bedding, bloody ceilings, etc. SHAME. ON. YOU. You should be keeping the place in better condition, and empowering your employees to remove guests who are clearly wandering around using illegal drugs on your property, as it was clearly more than simply weed.

Stay away people! Room was not ready when we showed up at 11:30pm with a reservation. Did not get into a room until 2:30am. Day cleaning staff was still there doing their best to clean up rooms. Many creepy people hanging around, one lurking in elevator. Reached out to management for refund twice, no reply back. My mistake for not reading the reviews.

Decent prices especially for having the bonus of a kitchenette in the room. Which a lot of hotels don't have . It has a fridge, microwave, stove top , cupboards , heat or air-conditioning., it has laundry on site. And stores nearby as well as fast food. It's clean and the staff is very friendly .

Much better place to stay than last year! Keep up the good work you are making a difference. Room with a stove had no items to go along with it to utilize the stove. I know this may have been something hard to keep from being stolen in the past. Maybe a sign on the wall or inside of the cabinet informing the cliet how to obtain these items for usage. Something along the lines of calling or visiting the office to use kitchen accessories could work? 2 soaps were provided, one for bathroom sink and one for shower. One by the kitchen sink would have been nice. There was no Shampoo, conditioner or lotion provided. Luckily, I do bring my own but I know not everyone does.

I'm not sure other reviewers have gotten clean rooms judging by the state of this whole place. Sheets seemed clean- that's all I can say. Floors are nasty, my most generous guess is they were cleaned a month ago- seriously, the shower floors at campgrounds are cleaner. The blankets on the beds were covered in cigarette burns and stains. Despite having a room with two queen beds, there are only two towels. The walls are discolored, doorjambs and doors have mysterious spills all over them. The whole place reeks of cigarette smoke and marijuanna. We tried to call the office and the phone in the room doesn't work (when we called with our cellphones no answer either). There are signs to not smoke near the building however it's obvious people smoke in their rooms/right outside their doors ALL DAY. No elevator, which is okay for me and my family but would be a great inconvenience to those who cannot take the stairs. I would suggest spending a few more $ to stay somewhere else because this place is disgusting.

Nice enough place and has the bonus of having a stove top, sink, good sized, refrigerator /freezer and microwave . But it's location is not convenient to me to far from the central downtown area and it's prices are high compared to a most other deals at the closer budget motels. I would probably go there again if I wanted a couple days stay with cooking and the others were booked up or had no price breaks.

Stayed here for a night, got a room with a kitchen but there's no pots / pans / utensils unless you want to pay more (yes it says so on their website but it's still a bit ridiculous). First room we got didn't have a bed that was made, there was a bad odor, and the toilet wasn't flushed, so had to go ask for another room. Person at the front desk wasn't present, had to wait and another customer called the hotel to ask the person to come back to the front desk. There's also a mask sign on the door but it's clearly not enforced. Room itself was fine, but seems pretty disorganized.

The room was clean, the staff was sweet and helpful. But an extended stay Tennant in the next room left her dog unattended and it barked ALL NIGHT LONG. We didn't sleep well at all.

  • 1/5 Tonya P. 2 years ago on Google
The first room had a leak in the kitchen sink and made a huge puddle, the hotel tried to cover it up by placing a folded up kitchen towel under the pipe. The room they offered to move us to had drug paraphernalia and used clothes in the dresser, a hypodermic needle in the kitchen cupboard and smelled of stale cigarettes. The manager didn't offer a different room nor a refund til the following day thus we are stuck in a drug ridden hotel and a broken sink.

I've never stayed here myself, but my sister-in-law has and honestly for the price it's not worth it unless you've got bad credit, evictions and into the shader side of things. Each to their own no judgement.
