My children have been coming here for well over 10+ years. We absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Blake and his staff. I begged them to keep seeing my special needs daughter after she turned 18. I don’t trust any other dentist with my children’s teeth. They are super friendly here. My children all feel very comfortable in their care. Their office is so cool and kid friendly. My kids love to go to the dentist because of the fun environment, the friendly staff, and they feel safe. Hands down, this is the best children’s dentist.

We have been coming to kids smile for almost 8 years and have been beyond happy with each and every staff member. They are the kindest people and so sweet with the kiddos. My daughter had an intense dental procedure on Friday and I was so nervous. The anesthesiologist was so kind as to explain everything to me in detail and to text the receptionist in the middle of the procedure to keep me updated! Dr Blake is wonderful!! I can’t speak highly enough of him. I was a crying wreck and he was so sweet as to walk me back out to the waiting room assuring me along the way. I always know my kids are in good hands at kids smile! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Taking my babies to a dentist was always frightening from horror stories you read or hear but this dentist is amazing! Every single staff member makes you feel welcome and comfortable. They’re all so wonderful with children and genuinely care. Dr. Kelly Kobe called me the day after my little boy had to have a tooth pulled just to check on him! They don’t schedule extra dental work just to squeeze Pennie’s out of you and the office is spectacularly kept and pleasant to wait in. I will never take my kids to another pediatric dentist and will be sad when they’re too big to come here anymore!

I have been bringing my twins to KidSmile for about nine years now. My boys absolutely love coming to the dentist. From the front staff, the dental assistants and Dr. Blake everyone is so kind and helpful. The office is clean and the waiting area is a fun environment for the kids. The assistants work very well to ensure the kids stay calm during there appointments and the doctors treat you like family. I highly recommend KidSmile for all your child's dental needs.

We saw Dr. Ryan Blake for my daughters tongue and lip tie revision and we are so thankful to have found him. He is not only a great pediatric dentist but a great person. After trying 3 separate dentists, I can confidently say we've found our long term dentist here! My son has SPD and for the first time in years, he willingly let them brush his teeth with toothpaste. They listened to all of my concerns, validated them, and set us up with a solid treatment plan that's going to benefit him long term. THANK YOU!

The older lady’s that went to airway heights were amazing, the new lady’s they have in the Spokane valley office are not friendly at all and to me they seem very unprofessional! They keep calling my phone while I’m at work instead of my wife’s phone, they act like they know everything and I will be switching my kids to a new place. I am very disappointed because they use to be amazing!!! Not anymore…

This place is astoundingly professional and knowledgeable. They diagnosed my son with a lip tie and this is going to improve his speech/life so much. Highly recommend.

Doctor Blake isso kind!! My son had to get some extractions they made me feel comfortable my son wasn't that nervous after they reassured him and the front staff is so kind and nice. I definitely recommend taking your kiddos here.

Our son has major challenges, including autism, sensory processing issues, anxiety, problems with proprioception, and low muscle tone. Plus, he HATES the dentist. And he’s big (5’8.5” at 12 years old). But he needed extensive dental work done. Knowing it would be tough, we scheduled him for general anesthesia. Although the wait was difficult (we were supposed to checkin at 10:30am, then bumped to 12:30pm, and he didn’t go back until 1:45) that really doesn’t matter compared to how the staff handled everything that came next. Walking back willingly, our son got stuck at the doorway. Then it got really tough. The staff (and especially the anesthesiologist) were AMAZING!! They were patient, understanding, flexible, creative, and listened to us and our son really well. They were also very gentle. At one point, as we were considering different options, the anesthesiologist said he was trying to consider what he would do if it was his son. That statement reflects the heart with which this team approached a very difficult and complicated situation. We have been going to KidSmile Dental for fifteen years, since before our youngest son was born. Dr Joel Blake has been caring for our kids’ teeth for years, and has worked with our son on multiple occasions. This was our first experience with Dr Ryan, and we were delighted to discover he’s gracious and patient, just like his uncle. If you have kiddos with challenges, finding a dentist can be really tough, I know. Our experience at KidSmile Dental has been excellent. We are very pleased with Drs Blake and Ryan and the staff at KidSmile Dental.

Had to wait over 2 hours for my son's appointment and then they put more crowns on his teeth then they told us. Also didn't even give us a choice on the type of crown and put the metal crowns in. They not only failed to inform of us all the work they were doing to my son but made us wait an ungodly amount of time for our appointment, I've never had to wait that long for a dentist appointment. Shame on them for not informing the parents all the work they were doing. This is malpractice and a lawsuit if I really wanted it to be. Legally you have to inform the parent of all the work your doing not part of it. We were told only 4 temporary crowns but they put in 8 all together. Will never take my son here again.

we love it here since moving to spokane! The staff always are helpful and welcoming. My son has a hard time sometimes and they do what they can to help him feel comfortable! Highly recommend 👌
