Campground Lodge Rv park Camp Camping cabin

😠 Very disappointed. Arrived to a cabin that had mold in the fridge and wasn’t the cleanest. However , it’s a cabin so didn’t think too much of it. I took pictures for my safety of what I was walking into. I asked the front desk for garbage bags. Toilet paper, and received none of it. I received a dam... Very disappointed. Arrived to a cabin that had mold in the fridge and wasn’t the cleanest. However , it’s a cabin so didn’t think too much of it. I took pictures for my safety of what I was walking into. I asked the front desk for garbage bags. Toilet paper, and received none of it. I received a damage fee and called them to ask what it was for. As I told them I took pictures of what I arrived to and left… they hung up the phone on me. Called and hung up on again!!! I haven’t heard anything back. If you’re going to charge people at least explain. I wrote a review on the page and it was instantly deleted I’ve emailed, with no response. I love KOA. But will not return to this certain one.

After driving 2 hours here we were notified that the bathrooms/ water are unavailable for use do to a plumbing issue. Some forewarning would have been nice before check in and driving all the way here. Now we are stuck trying to find dog friendly lodging the night of our stay in Spokane elsewhere.

Not a nice place if you’re planning on having a relaxing trip. Loud trains & vehicles driving by at all hours of the night. Pool was closed & we were not notified ahead of time. Poorly maintained trees and shrubs. Almost had one fall on our tent. Bathrooms were disgusting & there were people giving there dogs showers.

The campground was so well maintained and had so many cute decorative touches. Dog park was very clean green grass. Whole part was watered well and lush green. Pool area was so elegant and the pool was the cleanest ever! . I’ve stayed at many KOA’s and this is by far the nicest.

Right next to very active train tracks. Loud horn every half to an hour, for 5-10 minutes. Nice camp grounds. Didn't use facilities. Not as many kids. Fastest internet yet, but didn't work most of the time. Got maybe 30 minutes in. Narrow strips. We were too close to neighbors. Not the worst we've stayed in

First stayed here 10/2020. Stayed again 3/2022. Campground is clean. The new wall between the train track and the campground looks great. Bathroom is always clean. Friendly staff. One of these days we will stay for more than a night and during warmer months so we can enjoy more of the campground and surrounding area.

The washrooms seemed well taken care of and the person we spoke with on the phone to book with was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The KOA is close to a busy rail line so, if you're a light sleeper or are looking for peace and quiet, I would suggest looking elsewhere. It appeared to us that most of the RVers were long term tenants who didn't care much about how they maintained their sites. For example, the site adjacent to ours had many chewed up dog bones, dog waste, old rusty toy cars and various other items on the ground that had obviously been outside far too long. From what we saw, there were several sites not being taken care of.

Cabin was very cute, however hot water tank is an RV tank and I couldn't get it hot enough so took a luke warm shower. The tub didn't drain well and the Keurig coffee maker leaked. The office/store had empty fridges, only soda. Would have been nice to get some food.

I was slightly disappointed with the size of our lot and it was extremely tight driving through the campground. We had to ask people to move their cars so we could pull into our lot without hitting something. The dog park is far away from all of the lots right by a busy road and wasn't very maintained compared to others we have come across. I gave 4 stars due to the kindness of the office staff and how accommodating they were when I needed to change my reservations last minute - if not for that, probably would have been 3 stars.

Pretty decent full hook-up RV pull through sites with decent shade throughout the day. Some well set up tent sites and cabins as well. Really short drive from one of the Centennial Trail trailheads, which is great for walks or bike riding.

Trains are very loud and make a rest stop impossible. Poorly maintained campground, trash overflowing from bins, broken doors in dirty bathrooms and bad customer service. It’s almost impossible to get a call answered the office staffed with several people do not answer the phones and have very short winter hours without assistance after hours. It is completely fenced in which is great for the kids too, I think it’s partly to hide the surroundings which are a trailer park and loud train depot. No quarter machines in the laundry rooms “because us “the paying customers” will rip them off” very unhappy with this koa experience.

Tiny rv spots if you're in the back section without a patio. Unfortunately, neighbors sewer was underneath my camp chairs on my patio. Amenities are a bit dated, 1/3 of the laundry was out of order. Several older rvs, looking like live ins, weeds growing all around them. Could use some tlc. Pros are friendly staff, decent location. But I'd only stay here a night, skip the longer stays.

Great spot in the middle of the Spokane valley easy access to all kinds of activities halfway from Spokane to lakes and North Idaho adventures. Bonus if you like trains, some people complain about the trains, but I suppose those people never learned to look at a map. The bathrooms are clean and the showers are more than you expect from a hotel. Super cute small log cabins, deluxe tiny homes, and they have gazebo spots with tables. All are welcome from hikers, bikers, campers, tents. Reasonable rate. Pets are welcome. Don't bring your dirty busted old ugly camper. They prefer stuff less than ten years old. It makes the place nicer for everyone. Activities games and a place for the kids to play. Reasonable pricing.

Very beautiful location. We have a 5th wheel with 4 slides and we fit perfect in one of the smaller slots. Had we stayed for longer than one day, we sure would of gotten the bigger spots. Super cute place. Wish the pool was working. The kids were looking forward to it after an 8 hour drive.

Nice campground. Very near RR tracks, trains running by at night but not too bothersome. We had a great spot, mostly in shade. No fire pits at sites, but a community one you can use. Dogs only allowed at doggy potty spot or agility playground. Not allowed on any other grass. Makes it hard to take on a walk. Staff was VERY helpful with a black tank hose snafu. We felt bad, but they were, " Meh! Not the first time!" We would def stay, again.

We stayed 2 nights, site was fine but the facilities are not. Bathrooms did not have soap in them and were quite dirty. Showers were filthy and one in the men’s bathroom had a shower head that kept falling off. They advertise a few different activities, however, the office closes at 6pm so after that you can’t do any of them because you can’t get the equipment. The pool was closed so I can’t review that. The reason given for the late notice closure was that there was lots of wind the day before so they needed to close it for maintenance. They also did not enforce the quiet time so it was actually pretty loud even at 2am.

Decent KOA, tight entrance and exit. Nice amenities, pool pretty good. Sites are typical and the deluxe sites are larger. One time we got one with a swinging chair, another we got a large table with umbrella, pretty warn though. My biggest issue is the trees are low and need to be maintained. I was kept up most of the night from the trees scraping on my roof and cap. Little scratching, but I think I can fix most of that, didn't find roof membrane damage yet. Great stop is the way east though, close to lots if gas stations and many restaurants an exit down. Will be back.

It wasn't a terrible time but it was kind expensive and the pool and the other vacationers for really nice. The staff was friendly. But I expected there to be more BBQ pits in the tent areas but they had them in the RV spots which really didn't make much sense. And the pool didn't stay open as long as we'd like or open as soon as we liked check-in was at 2 check out was it 11 so for the amount of money you're paying your not getting very long. And that train at night ugggh .

I am not sure where all of these 5 star ratings are coming from, this is park 4 of 5 this trip and it is by far the bottom. This is a very mature (old) park with a friendly staff. First the good stuff they have a well stocked store, a nice pool and show movies at night. The park is located between Spokane and the Lake so great location. The sites are gravel pull through with a small patch of grass and trees. Here is my issues the Train (s) was woken up 5 times last night; granted there is not much the park can do about the train schedule except offer the free ear plugs. The WIFI is very slow or non-existent, they do not allow streaming even your password tells you not to stream. Forget trying to see any pictures on a site or active content. I ended up using my phone hotspot for better coverage. The bathroom/showers are clean but use blow driers (great Covid-19 spreaders) and really could use updating. One of the showers appears to be a converted toilet stall. The park would be ok for an one night stop if you are a heavy sleeper. I will defiantly look for another park the next time I come this way. **Edit** After two years we are back again for an overnight stay, not much has changed.

Pretty dang lame “camping” spot. Right by an industrial area, featured nature sounds include the night train, water pump on the water tower and RVs pulling in/out at all hours. I don’t think management is doing anything wrong this just really isn’t camping. Plenty of other options in the area with more nature. On the bright side you’re within about ten minutes of two strip clubs

The most positive about this park is good cable channels. The biggest negative are freight train tracks and a crossing just over the fence. The trains run during the night and blow their horns for the crossing. Major issue if you are not a sound sleeper. The roads are narrow and can be difficult to maneuver. Quite time doesn't start until 11pm, latest we have ever encountered. We will not return.

Depends what you’re looking for. This KOA is very clean and well-organized from the short 7 hr overnight stay I had. Other reviews say that “there’s plenty for kids to do,” which I don’t doubt. There are showers, and the lawns are kept trim and green. The problem for me is the location and the overall campsite plotting. Just on the other side of a thick fence I could hear a (not distant) train tooting its horn late into the evening and early in the morning. And my tent site had a forever-humming electric sounding tower. The sites are all crammed together, with sometimes only a young tree between them, and supposedly you can get WIFI (and cell service for me to write this). Hardly an “outdoor” experience. It would be better if it were just a little less like a quaint suburb where it is acceptable to live out of your trailer and in the woods somewhere more remote. But again, it depends what you’re looking for. Lastly, and somewhat peripherally, they apparently made an effort to start recycling, but didn’t think far ahead enough to enable guests to place larger recyclables through the tiny holes in the wall (see picture). People seem to be enjoying their stay, but I won’t be back unless I am desperate. Thank you for the night nevertheless.

When you need an RV Campground close to I-90 and the Centennial trail, let your journey begin here. The campsites are nice and the bathrooms are clean. The staff was also friendly. It would be crowded in summer, but in the off season easy to reserve. Get rested up here and then plan on having a great rest of your trip!

Don’t expect sleep: You will swear the train (every 3 hours) is coming right through your unit as it blows its horn right beside the campground. Don’t expect a level site: You will need all of your levelling devices to make your unit just tolerable. Don’t expect to buy anything in the camp “store”: You will find the shelves empty. Folks in the office are friendly enough but you should only choose this KOA campground if you are extremely desperate.

Sites are extremely close together. You will have a hard time leaving if there is a camper staying in front of your site. Camp store is pretty much empty. Employees are okay. If you have a bigger rig or one 30’ plus I wouldn’t recommend this campground. No room for vehicles unless you park in the road. Stayed for one night passing through. Will not stay here again.

Super nice. From a frequent passer by, always nicely kept. Visiting a friend who was staying there, I didn't meet staff. So I couldn't give five stars

Have stayed in many KOAs - this one needs work, especially for the price. Neighbors' sewer drains are in the seating areas (spaces are among the tiniest I've encountered!) Yuck. Instructions say no rugs to protect the "grass", but it was mostly dirt. Shower had huge clumps of hair blocking drain. Asked about recycling - was told new owners bought campground a year ago and immediately discontinued recycling bins (expected in TN, not WA). Asked about community places to recycle and got a brush off. Definitely will not be back!

I really was surprised that it wasn't nicer. The spaces are crazy tight and the grass was all dead. Our neighbor's picnic table was within inches of our sewer hookup... gross. Anyway, the girls at the front were friendly, they had a small store and a decent laundry with working equipment. I would go back if no other options I guess.

Another property that I could have rated 5 stars but the lack of quality wifi considering the prices they charge is the reason. Nice trees and landscaping throughout the property. Clean showers and bathrooms. About a quarter mile to a nice walking/bike path along the Spokane River.

The train tracks that are close by ruined our sleep. We have a fifth wheel RV and we were in one of the furthest pull through spots from the tracks and it was terribly loud. The trains blow their horns throughout the entire night…yes, 12,1,2,3,4,5,6 in the AM. The campground was nice and I don’t have any complaints about the grounds itself, but guests should be aware that the train situation may make for a not so pleasant night sleep.

Awesome staff. We reserved a no bathroom cabin, and after we checked in we wanted to upgrade to a deluxe cabin but looking online none were available, my wife went to the office and told them what we wanted, they said let's take a look and found one for us.Then I smashed my finger in the car door, I called the office to see if they had any band aids to purchase, and they said we will be right over with some. Above and beyond service!

This KOA was a disappointment. Luckily we only stayed for one night. The spots are pretty close together and the gravel pad was narrow and uneven. We struggled to find a spot to park our trailer where we were level-ish. And then, we had to park at the front of the pad since the hook ups were located quite far forward. This meant we had to park the truck behind the trailer and block the entire driveway when we were hooking up to leave the next day. They have some work to do with their grounds! Additionally, as many other reviewers said, the train tracks are on the edge of this campground and the train signals a crossing every time it passes, even in the middle of the night. It startled us awake each time and we were one of the spots farthest from the track!

This is the second time we have stayed here. The first was 2 years ago when we came see our daughter who had just moved to town. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bathhouse was clean and well kept. Sites are wide enough that you don't feel like you are on top of your neighbors. Easy access to points of interest.

Great experience! We arrived late evening into town and had no place to stay. We texted the number provided on voicemail. We got an immediate response. John made everything so simple. The bathrooms and showers are immaculate. The cleanest in our travels. Some reviewers talk about the trains, but it absolutely did not bother us. It is difficult to avoid trains in the US. We loved our stay and would definitely come back. Great place, great price, great staff, and great management. Thank you John for your help and greeting us in the morning.

I’m not sure what this is about, but this is very scary and worrysome that this guy is that messy and strange in a Koa Rv park next to us. It looks like the old motor home next to them we’re doing something illicit. I have never seen something like this in a Koa or any Rv park anywhere, frankly. I only hope we are safe until we leave in the morning. People come and they go just that quick.

Stayed 1 night and the park was just fine all the hook ups were in good condition. The wifi is good but they have a no streaming policy so bring your own wifi. Bathrooms were ok , not great but good enough to grab a shower. We did however have some issues at check in. We have been traveling for 8 months staying in at least one koa in every state west of Colorado. We arrived very early but after check out ,Like 11:30am . We were told to "go walk around the mall for an hour" while they mow the grass and do "maintenance." When got to our spot the grass wasn't mowed and the pedestal didn't have any new work on it. Even tried to use our KOA vip points or pay to check in early but I guess that's not an option . I don't know it's a good stop over on the way down the 90 but I wouldn't stay again , sorry I don't like being lied to by staff.

We had to leave early because our cabin filled up with smoke. It was possibly from an electrical short. The office never responded to our calls.

  • 4/5 Kelli R. 2 years ago on Google
We stayed a week. Staff was friendly and helpful. Facilities were nice and clean. However was a little put off by the appearance of their rules. No streaming on the WiFi and dog waking signs were slightly over reaching. We travel with two dogs that are meticulous about cleaning up after them and we work from our coach so using Wi-Fi as a back up is always necessary. Train is close and very busy. Location was good for us. AT&T Cell was great. Overall we had a nice stay.
