The hogwash whiskey den would be easy to miss if you were not a local. We got lucky as we were passing through town to find it. It’s down in a cellar and has a very cool almost like old time prohibition field. Very wide selection of whiskeys the server seemed very knowledgeable. The food was surprisingly good. If you’re in the Spokane area seek them out.

Seriously lovely space. Great atmosphere. Absolutely worthless staff. Can't take orders and deliver what was ordered. Staff sees you sitting g while washing glasses. 20 minutes later I was ask if I wanted the drink I had ordered. By this time by money was best spent elsewhere. Maybe slow Fridays are not the night to visit. From this encounter I highly recommend any other bar in Spokane. Skip this one.

Badass waitress, killer food, super nice chefs that are seriously into their food and it shows. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 6 stars at least . Our favorite little secret haunt. Get there beige 5 on Friday or Sat of you won’t get a table.

The drinks were good, but the service was pretty slow. I ordered the cauliflower "wings" and they were OK. 3/5. Really need smaller pieces to pull those off. Nice and spicy but not a lot going on beyond that. It took forever to cash out and they seemed to get annoyed with us for splitting our checks. The place was mostly empty at the time. Super cool spot and decor.

Chef Joe and his creations were inspiring! We loved his stories of travel that coincided with the menu and we’re glad he came out to talked to us while giving excellent service. Will be back soon with friends 🖤

This is my favorite bar in Washington and Oregon. Between the 25 page whiskey menu, the magnificent cocktails, and possibly the best tater tots I've ever had, this is a place I'd come back to over and over.

Really cool whiskey bar located below street level in downtown Spokane. Has a seasonal food and drink menu highlighting whiskey drinks as their specialty. Tried the burger, chicken sando and wings - all really tasty! Homemade potato chips - yum 😋

Stopped in for drinks with coworkers and was very pleasantly surprised. The innovation present within their cocktail menu definitely makes this place something special. I'll definitely be back to try thier full menu.

I meant to review this place a while ago. Every time I come in it gets better and better! Better food! Better selection! Better drinks! Well, they’ve always had great service and a cool vibe! Keep it up! You guys rock! Edit: I added a pic but I sorta started chowing down before I took the pic lol. This is the hogwash burger with tater tots that had like a dill seasoning on them. Grub 👍

I let the bartender mix away and every drink He blew me away. Not only were the drinks good , the service even though busy was superb . Then the food , wasn’t to heavy and allowed for sweets . Everything made to perfection ! Loved this little gem in Spokane !

My daughter loves this place and for some time we have been wanting to see what all the fuss is about. So for a post mother's day dinner we checked out the fun hidden gem. The atmosphere was great, music on point, the super attentive waiter went above and beyond.. The food was delicious and the sauces were incredibly fun and exciting. Pictured is the burger and chips, along with a Wiskey Sour because well you gotta have whiskey at this fun escape.

This is one venue I am never embarrassed to visit with out of town guests. The small menu covers a good deal of tastes, expertly prepared, and quickly served. The bar is quite the opposite in selections. Specializing in well crafted nostalgic offerings at extremely reasonable prices. You may find that obscure whatever you've been wanting to try. Top level staff and owner/mixologist.

This place is a gem. The "Milk Punch" is easily the best cocktail I've ever had anywhere. You're not going for a bargain, you're going for quality. Pictured is the Korean Fried Chicken sandwich, which was also super delicious. It has a cool speakeasy vibe. Go there, you wont regret it.

Great food. I love the rotating selection of sandos and salads. Service is slow, but worth it for the food. Kinda like Ruins. I'll be coming back, and not just because they are five blocks away.

Had a wonderful date night and enjoyed the amazing wing sampler and chicken sandwich with tasty drinks. The atmosphere is awesome and its a pretty cool date or hang out space. Dinner for 2 (app, 2 sandwiches, shared fries, 2 drinks, +tip) was about $100.

In from Yakima for a show and happened upon this little speakeasy. AMAZING FOOD!!! My pineapple smash burger was perfectly executed by the 16 year old chef, whom we insisted on meeting after tasting such delicious food. We were incredibly impressed and the bar is set so high, it’ll be difficult to want to go anywhere else next time we come to town. Great vibe and atmosphere too!!!

Good god, was this place incredible. Super cool venue (speakeasy vibe) in the basement of the old crack building. The food was outstanding (highly recommend carne asada fries and the KFC sandwich; trust me). YOU MUST TRY THE SEASONAL OLD FASHIONED. I normally don’t drink old fashioneds, but I asked them to surprise me and this is what they brought me. It was like Christmas in a cup. Our whole table had one after I had mine and everyone loved it. Will be coming back soon.

Exactly the atmosphere we were looking for. Casual, speakeasy with bartenders who know what they're doing. The kind of place you leave and can't believe it's still light out. And probably the best chicken burger I've ever had. We loved every minute of our time at the bar. Great discussion about Fernet Branca. :)

Great underground bar with excellent food! We visited this place on a Thursday evening and the atmosphere was very cheery and local. Huge shoutout to the bartenders for working so hard! There was only two people working in the front who made our drinks, served our food, and processed our checks. Super hardworking! Chicharrons were really good and our burgers were perfect. Yum!

We decided to check this place out! Cool atmosphere and location in the basement. We just had libations and donuts 🍩 and both were yummy! We saw a lot of food people were ordering that looked fabulous. Service was great so we will definitely be back to have dinner.
